Doctrine of Nicolaitians Revelation 2:15

Commentary: So why did Jesus hate the Doctrine of the Nicolaitians? Sometimes they are called Antinomians a group of people within the church holding a false doctrine opposing Christ! They believed they could freely participate in sin because by grace the law of God no longer applies? So what did Jesus say in John 14:15? Jesus said if you love me keep my Commandments! To honor God is to keep his Commandments! Jesus never broke the law! He was Lord of the Sabbath! We have all broken his Commandments for all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God! His love for us in suffering and dying on the Cross for our sin through love for us makes us understand that our breaking his Commandments caused his great suffering and death because of us! So in his love he has forgiven us of our sin and the breaking of God’s Laws so we want to keep his Commandments so not to crucify him again! We ask Jesus to forgive us all our violations of the law and sin against God and man! Even though none of us can keep his commandments his love for us enables us to be sensitive to sin and to repent of any sin past, present or future! Grace is God doing for us what we cannot do for ourselves! We can sin by ourselves and to do this violates the very purpose Jesus came to redeem us! He has removed our guilt and to do the same sin that caused our guilt is blasphemy against the will and purposes of God and his redemptive sacrifice on our behalf! Jesus said the two greatest Commandments is to love God and man! To reject his law is to reject his love because he paid the price of death the penalty for sin that we have initiated against God and man! Forgiveness of sin cannot be a license to sin again under the false ideology of grace! Grace is God doing for us what we cannot do for ourselves! We cannot save ourselves only God has done this for us! To sin again against this grace is separation from God and his love forever! James & Hamsa Sasse.

Divining for Money! Matthew 16:26

The Doctrine of Balaam teaches compromise, wanting Christians to forget they are called to be separate and Holy! (Leviticus 20:26; I Peter 1:2); the Doctrine of Balaam makes Christians indistinguishable from the world. (Matthew 5:13. The Doctrine of Balaam is a belief that a “little sin” does not hurt. (Galatians 5:9). , especially if there is some financial gain or personal benefit involved! (I Timothy 6:5). A person following the Doctrine of Balaam is willing to compromise his beliefs for the sake of economics! He acts to enable sinful behavior for personal gain or even participate in them! (Romans 1:32). Source: GotQuestions.orgĀ  Comment: So what is the first step of a Christian to become an unbeliever ? Columbus the Evangelist! Mark 16:15

Extract Portion of Christopher Columbus Journal. (1492) “Your Highnesses, as Catholic Christians, and Princesses who love and promote the Holy Christian Faith, and are enemies of the Doctrine of Mohammad, and all idolaters and heresy, determined to send Christopher Columbus, to the above mentioned countries of India, to see the said Princes, people and territories, and learn their disposition, and the proper method of converting them to our Holy Faith!”

Groundwork for our U.S. Constitution!

This Bible is for the government of the people, by the people and for the people! John Wycliffe (1320-1384) He is most notably known as the Morning Star of the Reformation! He translated the Bible from Latin to English! He rejected the Doctrine of Transubstantiation! He sacrificed his life fighting for the common man and the abuses of the Clergy! Printing Bibles in English and getting them into the hands of the common man was a threat to the aristocracy! Thanks to John Wycliffe we have our English Bibles today! The principalities and powers of darkness declared John a heretic and dug up his corpse and burned it and scattered the ashes into the River Swift that flows through Butterworth England!

Church Government

It is a thoroughly anti-Christian doctrine that the Spirit of God, and therefore the life and governing power of the church, resides in the ministry, to the exclusion of the people! Charles Hodges (1797-1878) Comment; True but I have seen a church board vote and send a good Pastor down the road! I have seen elder’s gang up on a Pastor! I have seen congregation members rebel and split the church taking half the congregation away to begin a new church! We also got the Reformation through a church split! Not all bad! Church by-laws are different! I limit myself to making suggestions to the Pastor to improve effectiveness. However, it is still up to the Pastor if he wants to do it? If he doesn’t then that is alright! The only reason I can see a reason to leave a church is doctrinal error! If so then leave the right way in peace with the Pastor and congregation! Thankyou. The Doctrine of Estrangement! 1 Peter 2:9

We are a peculiar people! Peculiar meaning we have reached a point or place in time where we have found purpose in God together! Notice not a peculiar person but people. People meaning a mass of humanity of all nations joined together in one purpose. We belong to a nation of people. We are a chosen people by God through Christ to minister and serve others. His church is a proclaiming community! We are organized to take care of others. As citizens of Heaven we seek the peace of the city we live in. Start a good work where you are. Bloom where you are planted. Seek to help the most vulnerable of our culture. Paul sought to free a slave. We are not to Lord over others in our family and community but demonstrate love in our marriage and family! Wives are to submit to their husband and the husband is to protect his wife. There is strength in kindness! If you have to be told you are a leader you are not! The way you are is the way you tell your story to the world. You proclaim what you are. Sin has and is causing estrangement in our world. The cultural wars of divorce, untraditional marriage, drugs, crime and corruption at all levels lead the way to estrangement in our nation! In the Book of Genesis we see creation of the world and man. Everything started out right but sin caused Adam and Eve to blame God and each other. Sin has caused us to run and hide from God and each other. It became finger pointing! She made me do it! The Devil made me do it! In Genesis chapter 11 we see the Tower of Babel where men wanted to make a name for themselves! Sound familiar? The unity here resulted in man wanting to build his own kingdom! Man has unified against God throughout history! God divided the languages and confused the people. This lead to tribalism, separation, violence and a fragmented society. So what was God’s solution? To send His Son Christ into the world! In Ephesians chapter 2 we see God putting to death separation and estrangement. He instituted the resurrected life! In Acts chapter 2 at Pentecost 120 people speaking different languages but understanding each other. One language became many and then many languages became one! Many people became a peculiar people. The Holy Spirit is joining together many people for one purpose! God reverses estrangement! Why are we a peculiar people? The church is a community within where the Holy Spirit reverses all previous estrangements! We are a eschatological community! God’s first intent consummates in the church! In Revelation chapter 5 and chapter 7 every nation and people group comes back together again! At the end of the day we win together! In Revelation chapter 21 we see no more death and a new Heaven and earth living in peace and joy. Heaven and earth become one just as we say in our Lord’s prayer! Two become one. If we know the end then we can make the right choices and do the right thing now! Start today. We are called to live and die for one another! If we as His church do the right thing today then Jesus will have little to do when He returns! The word, “Apocalypse” is used 18 times in the New Testament. To most of the world it means the end of the world. The word in the Greek translates; disclosure, revelation, enlightenment and manifestation. Romans 8:19— creation itself is groaning for redemption of the earth through storms, earthquakes and other events. The world is waiting for the Apocalyptical church and our Christ to return! We are a chosen people and a royal priesthood! As we take communion this morning do you feel estranged from God and others? Jesus paid the price on the Cross to bring us together. Jesus poured out His blood for you! In estrangement Cain slew Abel and his blood cried out from the ground for redemption! Murder is the last act of estrangement but Jesus laid down His life as a sacrifice on the Cross for you! The marriage supper of the Lamb is waiting for you and me as described in Revelation. The differences we have is removed by God in unity with Him! It is joyful in Heaven and not sorrowful! God is inviting you back to Heaven this morning! We cannot hold bitterness. We cannot drink the poison and expect others to die! We have through Christ the power to forgive! Come to His altar now and experience the ending of separation between you and God and man! True or False? Matthew 7:15-23

False Prophets! Not all that shines is gold! Jesus warning His disciples. Wolves attack just to kill while other beasts kill only for food. Assassins! Dressed in sheep clothing. They look like you, dress like you, have a good church language but are suicide bombers wearing a Christian costume. Intentional people who purposely mislead us to hurt. Evil at the core. Verse 16- By their fruit you will recognize them. Good or Bad! True or False! Pay attention to the right thing. Walk and be not deceived. Good fruit is moral fruit. Bad fruit is immoral or evil fruit. Verses 21-23. Final Judgment! I prophesied in your name? I cast out demons in your name? I did miracles in your name? Jesus said but I never knew you! Worst thing you could ever hear! Warning! Big crowds always follow those who perform prophecy, cast out demons and perform miracles. They may be genuine or total deceivers? Work for the right fruit. Do they sell products and then sprinkle Jesus on top of their sales pitch? How does fruit come? Fruit takes time to produce. Galatians 5:22- Fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace———-. Is our motivation on self or Christ? Look for sound doctrine! Is your household built on sand or rock? 2Timothy 4:3-4. People want a doctrine that fits their desires. Our desire and God’s desire is different. Make me happy God! The 21st century church theology is called; Moralistic Therapeutic Deism. It says that God is here to make me happy! Use Jesus to get what you want. No sound doctrine. A lot of money made under this false doctrine. Money made in the God business. Why? It sells! Itching ears. We want to hear this! Pleases the flesh. Marketing 101- Find out what the people want and tell them how to get it. Politicians today- They follow the culture rather than lead it! Flow with the stream down the drain. Sound doctrine- Iron sharpens iron. Follow Jesus. Believe Him. False Prophets will appear to go along with the Gospel but yet will say Jesus did not die and raise from the dead. The Death and Resurrection of Christ is foundational to our Faith! The Nicene Creed has been foundational to our Faith for over 1600 years. The early church father’s wrestled these heresies to the ground for us. You have to be able to discern truth to avoid the destruction of the false! Belief In God Equals Righteousness! Genesis 15:6

This verse is believed by some to be the key verse of the entire Old Testament. It is an important witness to the doctrine of justification by faith and to the doctrine of the unity in believers in both dispensations. Abraham’s faith was accounted to him for righteousness before he was circumcised and more than 400 years before the law was given to his descendants. Therefore neither circumcision nor the law had any part in Abraham’s righteousness. Paul proves that Abraham’s faith was not merely confidence in God nor simple obedience to God’s command, but that it was indeed faith in the promise of redemption through Christ. (Romans 3:21-22, 4:18-25; Galatians 3:14). The word, “belief” is from the Hebrew root word “Aman.” My favorite translation of this word is as follows; A secure nail that finds a solid place to grip. Like a nail in a cross! Now go to Isaiah 22:23. It reads as follow; And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place, and he shall be for a glorious throne in his father’s house. The word “sure” is the same Hebrew word “Aman” that is used for the word “belief” in Genesis 15:6. Thankyou. James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com
