One of our India Pastor’s Passed On!

Pastor Daniel in Yercaud India passed on doing ministry throughout these remote villages! We worked with him when we lived there for two years ministering there with him! He was a sacrificial Pastor we understanding by living there for two years! We continued support over the years and now to honor him we support his Son in ministry there! People warned him not to go out to minister because of the Coronavirus! He told people I cannot deny my flock and abandon them because of this pandemic! He caught COVID-19 and passed on late last year! He was 71 years old! When we met in India I was and he was 35 years old! We will continue support there until we pass on! Wives & Ministry!

Martin Luther is famously known as the Father of the Reformation! He grew up in the organized church. However something was wrong? Not with the people but with the system. He was a German Monk who began the Protestant Reformation in the 16th Century and became the most influential and controversial figure in the history of Christianity! Today in the 21st Century Donald Trump would be the most influential and controversial figure in American politics in the last hundred years! Somehow if you have never noticed influence and controversy go together! You cannot have one without the other! If you are not influential you will have no controversy! Martin Luther had to drain the religious swamp! If no influence you will die alone in the grave yard! Luther was charged as heretical as a leader of a religious revolt! The organized church tried to impeach him! More than that they were running for their lives from the church and the State! They had to go under ground! After months as a refugee in his own country he went into a depression! His wife encouraged him in a most unusual way! She went to her bedroom and dressed in black! Black dress, shoes, hat, veil, socks and handbag! When she came out to the living room Martin saw her and told her that she looked like she was going to a funeral? Yes we are she replied! To the funeral of your God! Martin snapped out of the depression went to his prayer closet and penned the famous hymn “A Mighty Fortress is our God!” Wives carry and share the burdens of ministry! Remember Job’s wife? Curse God and die! I am sure she got Job out of his depression! Good wives do not like pity parties! My wife Hamsa over the years has been responsible to help carry this ministry! Our wives help to shed light on our human frailty! As we enter through a very dark period in American history of political upheaval, death, plagues, spiritual depravity and isolation we must remember when the night gets the darkest the light of Christ shines the brightest! That is what happened to me on my death bed back in 1973! They gave me last rites! I knew it was my last night on earth yet excited because I was going to find out if my Bible were true and this Christ it talked about? Jesus came into my room that night and told me in just three words that God Loved Me! Then in the same year Jesus sent Hamsa my dear wife into my life! Ministry Staff!

A Prison Ministry! 1 Peter 3:19-20

Comment: It says here that Jesus preached to the spirits in prison! Where? When? In Hell! The three days between his crucifixion and his resurrection! Jesus preached to the captives in the heart of the earth! These two scripture verses are probably one of the most controversial in all your Bible! Theologians over the centuries a lot smarter than me have written commentaries on these two verses! Some have tried to explain it away! The biggest obstacle to understanding these two verses is our own human nature! We do not like to have people get a second chance! It is alright for ourselves but not others! So what was the state of all the people that lived and died before Christ? They missed Christ by birth so what is their future? Remember the dead in Christ will rise first! Jesus preached to all that ever lived before him including those that died in the flood in the days of Noah! So what did Jesus preach to them? The same as today! Victory over fallen spirits! So how many got saved? The Bible does not say? Just as today I do not know how many fallen spirits will be saved I just keep preaching the Gospel and leaving the results to God! Keep in mind after the resurrection of Christ Jesus will not return to the heart of earth as in this case for our redemption opportunity is only today and at our last breath the opportunity for redemption has expired! Who Are They? Revelation 2:6

Who are the Nicolaitians? The word in the Greek means the conqueror of the people! Specifically in the Church of God! They are only referred to twice in the Book of Revelation. Both the church at Ephesus and the Church at Pergamos had the same problem! (Verse 2:15). The Nicolaitians were Bishops and prelates of the church gaining a triumphal victory over the laity! This is the very sin that brought forth the Reformation! It is mostly responsible for all our denominational and non-denominational churches around the world! The Nicolaitians compelled and forced church members to submit to the arbitrary dominion of men who have become the ones which the eternal hates! The Apostle Peter warned us that those who are leaders among God’s people must not dominate the faith of others but rather exhort them to do right! (1 Peter 5:1-3). The Nicolaitians are people in the church who have established a hierarchy of power and dominion under a government of ecclesiastical rulers! Comment: Yes! God hates these folks! Correction is very different from condemnation! We take the word disciple from the word discipline. Jesus used the techniques of correction and commendation very effectively! We as parents either tend to over correct and under commend or over commend and under correct! Everything I do cannot be right and everything I do cannot be wrong! That is why I need a Savior! My experience in ministry over the past 45 years has shown me people do not like to submit to authority! This is the nature of Satan! Most people will submit to authority if commended and corrected in love! However some will never! Hell is reserved for these folks! Why will some never submit? Because they want to replace God! This explains why the world is a war! War on God! Jesus asked the churches at Ephesus and Pergamos to repent! Sunday our Pastor Oscar Cope made an important point to us in his sermon! Why get Baptized? Acts 2:38

Greek Translation: “Then Peter said unto them, Repent! Have a true change of heart towards God understanding that your future is not dependent on your past! Be baptized! That is make a public identification with Jesus Christ through water immersion. Be baptized in the name and character of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your willful and intentional acts against God! Be baptized with the purpose of serving God by the free gifts of God’s character through the Holy Spirit!” Comment: Believe it or not this church doctrine has been controversial for the past two thousand years! You would think it would be a slam dunk but not the case! Some believe infant baptism is enough! However there is no conscious decision on the part of the infant to do this! Some believe there is no need of baptism because the thief on the Cross was not baptized yet he was saved! Baptism is connected to forgiveness but not dependent on it! Baptism is about power for ministry! It is about an effective work here on the earth! Jesus was baptized yet he did not need to be saved! Some say I am saved and therefore do not need to be baptized! If it is good enough for Jesus it is good enough for me! Remember the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus after baptism! The Holy Spirit will empower you for effective ministry here on the earth! Without His love you will be abusive in the ministry! Your human capacity will never be enough! We need the character of God to do the work of God! The thief on the Cross was headed for heaven! No earthly ministry time left for him except to say he was saved without baptism! The Holy Spirit saves us until the rapture or Christ’s return to earth! The Spirit is the down payment or escrow to hold us until his return! Remember Jesus said greater things will you do after I send the Holy Spirit! We have examples of baptism in the Old Testament! Foundation for Ministry? Isaiah 33:6

So what is it? God delivered me off my death bed 45 years ago as a young man! I did not deserve it but He did it! A miracle and my first at the hands of Jesus! After this event I was actively involved in ministry through my local church! I went into prisons! I went down to the skid rows down on Larimer street in Denver Colorado! I went down to the drunks in alleys sleeping and awakening them and telling them Jesus loves you! I held Gospel meetings in the alleys of slum area’s of Denver! Saturday morning I was there among them preaching the Gospel! I was faithful for 10 years in these kind of ministries! I spent time in half-way houses holding prayer meetings! Then visions came to me in the middle of the night! Visions of going to the foreign mission field! I went to my local Pastor and explained these visions to him but he felt I should spend 4 years in Bible school. However the window was open now but for how long? I went back to other churches we had attended over the years in Denver but they all had excuses why they could not help us! Then my wife in Denver heard over the Christian radio station that the pastor of the world’s largest church was coming to Denver for crusades! My wife asked me if we should go see him? I was skeptical? If these Pastor’s here in Denver don’t want us even though we supported them for years who are we to this guy? I told Hamsa we are going to put our house up for sale this week and I am resigning my job! We are selling everything we have except two traveling bags each and buying a one way ticket to India! Sponsor or no sponsor we are going! She told me before you take this big step of faith why not take a small step of faith and go to this crusade! So we took our two little daughters who were 3 and 5 years old and went down to the crusade! It seemed uneventful? We left out to the parking lot after it was over with hundreds of cars leaving the parking lot! We went to our car and then it seemed out of nowhere Pastor Cho surrounded by elder’s was heading to his limo! My wife told me to stay with the children and I will talk to him! She shouted through the ring of elder’s and told Pastor Cho we are going to India as missionaries would you pray for us! He told my wife to bring your husband and we will pray! He took our hands and began to prayer for about 30 seconds. Then he told us we would come to Korea to be commissioned by our church for a 3 year work in India! The rest is history! So what is the bed rock foundation for ministry? I learned later that Cho as a young man was dying of TB! The hospital sent him home to die! He lived in a slum of Seoul. He was coughing up cups of blood! This little teenage girl would come by his cot in the cold winter everyday and pray for him! He would insult her and call her a Christian dog and would spit on her! She kept coming back each day for prayer! As she prayed he began to get better! A miracle walked into his life by the name of Jesus! Cho began a tent ministry in the slum of Seoul that eventually became the world’s largest church with over one million members! Suffering is the foundation for ministry! We do not look for it but God will bring it according to His will and purpose of your life! Pastor Cho looked for 60 years to find this teenage girl but never could find her? She is probably wearing a crown right now! She led Cho to Christ! Never discount who you have led to Christ! Suffering has purpose! Easter is about God suffering for you! Compassion means to suffer with! Are you willing to suffer with and for others? This is the Spirit of Easter! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

New Revelation on the Clinton Foundation!

It is hard to get information about the Clinton Foundation because it is set up in Canada where under Canadian law they do not have to disclose donors! What happened to transparency? You have to sue Obama to get something that is to be provided to the citizens by Constitutional law! Anyway through law suits under the Freedom of Information Act under our Constitution information is slowly being released! What we have learned is that the Clinton Foundation is spending on itself as a proclaimed charity 90 percent of all income taken in! Ten percent of collected funds go to charities! I would like to know the names of those charities? This is an example of Santa Claus turning into a scrooge! Santa delivers 10 gifts to the children on Christmas morning and keeps 90 gifts for himself? We need to ask ourselves as Christian’s how much of our income do we spend on ourselves? How much does the ministry you support spend on themselves? To be a good steward it is intellectually honest to ask your church for the annual budget report! If they are buying jet planes and putting property in their names it is time to step back and pray about your investment! Are they using the funds to proclaim the Gospel, mission work, helping widows, orphans, single moms and homeless people on the outer fringes of our culture? Our income requires time and we have only so much of it before we stand before Jesus! If we amass a lot of money with no compassion for the lost then we are bankrupt before God! The word time in the Greek means to  Honor God with your tithes and offerings as one of the ways we worship God to say to Him i am who i claim to be as a believer in His name! Is Israel Important to You? Zechariah 14:12

As a Christian is Israel important to you or is it a bump in your theological road in your travel? Is it just a wayside inn or a tourist trap? Jesus at His second coming will rule the world from Jerusalem! That fact alone should get your attention? Zechariah’s prophetic ministry began 520 years before the birth of Christ! He addresses both the first and second coming of Christ! Zechariah’s name means, “The Lord Remembers.” An elephant may forget but never God! Zechariah was of the priestly line. How did Zechariah know about nuclear war 2500 years ago? He says in verse 12, “Those that fight against Jerusalem will have their flesh consume away while they stand on their feet! Their eyes will consume away in their sockets! Their tongue will consume away in their mouth!” The Bible goes on to say in verse 13 that those who fight Israel will turn on each other in war! They will nuke each other! Do you vote for and support political leaders who oppose Israel? Do you vote for and support political leaders who strengthen the hands of their enemies?
