Why is Nicene Creed Important? Part 2

Earlier we discussed the importance of the Virgin birth! Only three names are mentioned in the Nicene Creed. They are Pilot, Mary and Jesus. Why? Mary and Jesus represent one Kingdom and Pilot represents another Kingdom. Two very different Kingdoms! Remember Pilot was not breaking any laws! He was the enforcer of Roman Rule using intimidation, force, fear, violence and death to enforce Roman Law! Lawful does not mean Godly! We have a higher calling! Not all laws are Christ like! Jesus was a Middle Eastern man who never spoke English. Pilot represents the law and Christ represents Grace and Truth! Not just represents but is the embodiment of Grace and Truth! The law shows us that no one except Christ can keep the law and all of humanity needs the Savior! Source: Pastor Brady Boyd, New Life Church, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Separation of Church and State?

The highest Glory of the American Revolution was this: it connected, in one indissoluble bond, the principles of civil government with the principles of Christianity! President John Adams. President Adams was also vice president, signer of the Declaration of Independence, signer of the Bill of Rights and signer of the First Amendment of the United States. Comment; No one knows best than our Founding Father’s the intent of our Constitution since they wrote it, signed it knowing it could men execution by British forces.

Two Kingdoms!

This world and the world to come are two enemies! We cannot therefore be friends to both; but one must decide which we will forsake and which we will enjoy! Pope Clement I (1-99 A.D.) Pope Clement I was successor to the Apostle Peter and was martyred by Emperor Trajan in Rome.

The Church and the State!

Since politics fundamentally should be a moral enterprise, the Church in this sense has something to say about politics! Pope Benedict XVI Comment: The Church in America used to be called the Bully Pulpit! That is before then Senator Lyndon Johnson of Texas shut up the Pastor’s across America with the 501c tax exemption. Back in the 1950’s the church pastor’s got on him for his illicit affairs. So he introduced the 501c. The 501c has worked to mute Pastor’s on almost every moral issue! Another fear they have is how many Christians would donate to a Religious organization if they got no tax deduction? Remember the 501c was instituted to cover up sin. Do we want to participate? We all will face God one day and we want our actions pleasing to Him! Thankyou. James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

Who Wrote The Nicene Creed? 325 A.D.

Heretics such as Arius of Alexander Egypt disturbed the peace of the Roman Empire. Emperor Constantine called a meeting of all the Bishops across his empire in an accessible town of Nicaea which is in present day Iznik Turkey. It was organized like the Roman Senate with the Emperor participating as a non-voting observer. The council met in Senatus Palace which is under Lake Isnik today. About 318 Bishops came from Rome, Jerusalem, Palestine, Egypt, Syria, Greece, Asia Minor, Persia, Gaul, Hispania and the Danube. Among them was Saint Sylvester, Saint Alexander of Alexandria, Saint Nicholas of Myra (Jolly old Saint Nicolas, same guy), and Saint and Church Historian Eusebius. Each Bishop could bring up to two Priests and three deacons. So a total of up to 1800 could have attended! Even heretic Arius attended and got to vote! Thankyou. James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com
