Jesus was placed on a wooden Cross and took the fire of hell to save you from the flames! Think about this! God took your hell and gave you heaven! He took your judgment upon himself! They will wail and beat their bodies when they witness his second coming! Christ’s body was beaten for you! To reject this is serious! No one will miss Jesus second coming but many have missed his first coming! No one will be able to hide behind their sin anymore! Jesus second coming is not only to rule and reign over the earth for a thousand years but to judge those who have rejected him while living on earth! Christ’s judgment will be socialism on steroids! All those that rejected him will get equal treatment with the same outcome! Hell! Why? Because they rejected the only God who took their judgment upon himself for their sin! The church is not on the earth at this time they are in heaven! Those following Christ at his second coming are the believers following him back to earth! No army can stand against him! Jesus came as a lamb for the sacrifice but his second coming he comes as a lion! You will not be able to vote him out of office! You will not be able to vote another sinner into office to cover your sin! He is King of Kings and Lord of Lord’s! You will stand at the judgment seat of Christ naked with no covering to hide behind! Observations of God and Men!
I have done some studies about events and the leaders of the world prior to WWII. I have studied the ideologies of Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin and Emperor Hirohito of Japan! What was the driving purpose for their ideologies was determined by their belief about God! Their supporting cast were their cultures! Much of Eastern and Western Europe at this time in history embraced Darwinism or Evolution! Charles Darwin was an atheistic Jew who believed that since there is no God things must have happened this way! That is we must have evolved from very primitive life forms! Japan was very different in their culture where they worshipped the Emperor as God! The west and the east were are on very different ends of the spectrum in their belief about God but with the same devastating results! What about Islam? What does believing in a false god lead to whether religious or not? If you are an atheist you make yourself God! If you make man god then you make yourself equal with God! Jesus was man but he was also God! I have noticed in history and in my own life that if you worship a false god you will sacrifice others for your own perceived gains! If you worship the real God you will sacrifice yourself to help others! Whether you wear a religious cloak or not this is the bottom line! The sacrificing could be your laying down your life for others as the disciples did or living one day at a time sacrificing for your family and the community! Sacrificing for friends and sacrificing for strangers! It could be coaching a youth basketball team! Serving in your church! The day I discovered God’s only Son Jesus Christ sacrificed his life for me for my sin I wanted to sacrifice my life in service to others! There is a righteous sacrifice and an unrighteous sacrifice! The righteous sacrifice will always benefit others the unrighteous sacrifice will always destroy others! Serving the living God will benefit all. We face the false god of Darwinism in American culture today! Sacrificing children through abortion to cover sin with 57 million victims so far! Death cannot be our motto! Gay marriage cannot produce children ending in the death of our culture! Gay’s, lesbians and transgenders have about a 40 percent higher suicide rate than the rest of the culture! Keeping or Polluting the Sabbath? Isaiah 56:2
Comment: What is my attitude about keeping the Sabbath the 4th Commandment of God? If I were to keep the Sabbath I would guard it like a gardener building a hedge around his garden! I would guard it as a shepherd would protect his flock from the wolves! Why is the Sabbath important to God? It is the seventh day of the week! Remember after God finished creating the world for six days he rested from his labor on the seventh day! It was the climax of his creation! On the Sabbath you cease from your work and reflect on the wonderful things God has worked out for you! You rest in his supply! You relax trusting God rather than your own works! So how would I pollute the Sabbath? You would just make it another common work day! It would be violence against God’s established law! I would defile, pollute and desecrate a Holy God! I would ignore him and his Blessings and trust in my own works! Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath! Remember the Jewish religious leaders got on Jesus for healing on the Sabbath! Jesus was raised from the dead on the Sabbath! That is why we worship on Sunday! He rested from his work on the Cross! If God needs rest who are we? Are we greater than God? Hebrew Translation: Verse 1 “Thus declares the Lord to His set apart anointed, to Cyrus whose right hand I have conquered to subdue Gentile Nations before him; and I will loose the loins of idol Kings to open before him the two leafed gates and the gates shall not be shut.” Verse 2 “I will go before you and make the large swollen prideful, upright, lawful and honest.” Verse 3 “And I will give you the treasures of falsehood, ignorance, blindness and judgment and the hidden riches of secret places, that thou may discern and understand that I the Lord which proclaim thee by thy name and the great God of Israel.” Verse 4 “For Jacob my servant’s sake and Israel my chosen. I have proclaimed thee by thy name; I have surnamed thee though thou has not understood me.” Comment: God has enabled King Cyrus the Persian King or Iranian King to conquer the surrounding nations including Babylon to take all their wealth to return the Jews back to Israel from 70 years captivity to rebuild the Temple and the city at Jerusalem! All was paid for by King Cyrus to free them from their captivity! My Bible says the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the righteous! (Proverbs 13:22). Remember the Jews were taken captive by the Babylonians because they had become wicked! All the Temple treasures were taken and the city of Jerusalem was burned down! After their repentance during their 70 year captivity the treasures of wicked nations were used to return them to Israel. Cyrus also returned all the Temple treasures that were taken to Babylon! This cycle repeats itself! Then remember the Temple was destroyed again in 70 A.D. by the Romans! Jesus predicted this in 30 A.D. The city was burned, the Temple destroyed and the treasures hauled back to Rome along with 100 hundred thousand Jewish slaves! The treasures and free labor was used to build the Roman Colosseum. Christians were martyred in this Colosseum. So the Jews and the Christians were both persecuted! Today Israel stands as a vibrant prosperous nation! America a gentile nation defends her! Jesus said that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter Heaven! So why strive to be rich? According to NASA historical maps a lunar eclipse occurred on what we know as April 3, 33 A.D. This is the day Jesus was crucified! According to the Jewish calendar Jesus was killed on the Passover about the 14th of Nisan which is April 3, 33 A.D. An eclipse in Bible prophesy and Jewish and Babylonian history represents a judgment of a Nation by God! The Judgment of the whole world was placed on Jesus on the Cross and the land was covered by darkness for 3 hours! This darkness was covered over Jesus as He died for our sin! Here in America we get a solar eclipse specifically over America only and then Hurricane Harvey hits us! Another Hurricane is on the way they believe will be a category 5! After the Cross the Jews were judged by the Romans in the war 66-70 A.D Also the Temple was completely destroyed and all the wealth of the Temple was carted back to Rome along with one hundred thousand Jewish slaves to build the Roman Coliseum! In America when the provision for the atonement of our sin is rejected with Jesus Christ there is no escape for judgment! Can you place your name in with those in the Hall of Faith as listed in Hebrews Chapter 11? How do you get there? So what is Faith? Faith is a relationship with God that causes one to be persuaded to trust and believe in the confidence of Divine Truth that produces good works! Faith in a false god will produce destructive works! Islam is probably our best example but atheism with Darwinism ranks right up there with Islam! A Faith in God and His Son Jesus Christ leads to the miracles described in Chapter 11. Faith in Christ makes one confident and free from guilt, doubt and fear! Faith in a false god leads to guilt, fear and death! You have to trust in the one greater than yourself! You cannot save yourself! To trust in yourself is sin! God and His Christ is the gold standard for Faith because there is no sin in them and they have power over death, hell and the grave! What is the accursed thing? Is it something I had for breakfast? My wife’s cooking? Fast food? It will help you to go back to the Hebrew root word to help understand this. I would suggest you get a Hebrew-Greek study Bible if you want to dig deeper in the Scriptures! According to the Hebrew word this is something devoted to religious use. Some consider this word to have a contradictory element because it can also be something devoted to destruction! So something accursed is either set apart for destruction or set apart to be devoted to God! During the conquest of Canaan the Jews set aside the spoils of war for religious use. That is the silver, gold, bronze, iron and the animals were devoted to religious use. The idea here is since God has given us the victory in war the spoils belong to Him! Much like the tithe and offering today is given to God because He has given us the victory over sin, hell and death! So after crossing the Jordan River in a miraculous way they defeated the first city Jericho in another miraculous way! A man named Achan from the tribe of Judah and his family got greedy and stashed some of the gold from the spoils in his tent! God got angry and in the next battle for the city of Ai Israel got defeated. Joshua went to the Lord and the Lord revealed to him there was sin in the camp! Joshua went through every tent and found the offender! Achan and his family were stoned, burned and buried in the Valley of Achor! Is your life set apart for God or for destruction? What you do with Jesus Christ will answer that question? If you accept Jesus Christ your life will be set apart for Him! If you reject Christ then your life is set apart for destruction! The choice is yours! God will not send you to Heaven or Hell without you deciding! He will not force His will on you! Love demands a choice! So it is up to you! Victory or defeat? Heaven or hell?
