Please be in prayer for my wife Hamsa! She will be going through a major surgery for a blood flow issue in her artery near where her two major leg arteries join together! The arteries that join together are shaped like a upside down Y where the leg arteries join together. She is 84 years old and is a risky surgery! However not to do anything would result in her two legs to continue to die from lack of blood flow! God has loaned Hamsa to me for the past 50 years and she is such a blessing to me and our family! She is special and when the Lord calls her to go home to Jesus where he has prepared a place for her I must release her and his will and his Kingdom be done on earth as it is in heaven! For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life! Jesus is the gift that keeps on giving! Everyone that has ever lived or will live has to make a choice about Jesus and the sacrifice he made for us on the Cross! We are presently about 2000 years from the baby born in Bethlehem! After the Cross his resurrection from the dead at age 33 fifty days later he ascended back to his Father in heaven! He promised his disciples he would return again or his second coming! Not as the savior at his first coming but as judge at his second coming! Judging who? Those that have rejected him! He took your judgment for sin at Calvary but if you reject him then you receive his judgment upon yourself! He is either your savior or your judge! The judgment of sin is death! He took your judgment upon himself at the Cross! God became flesh to pay for the price of our sinful flesh! The window of grace will close soon in history! Then his second coming to judge those that have rejected his love! This Christmas season think of the blessings God has given you through his only Son Jesus! He came to earth so you might go to heaven! Christ is the Prince of peace for those who embrace his love! Nothing better and no better gift than being right with God eternally distant from his wrath! What can we add to Christmas? The perfect motive is that God so loved the world! The perfect gift is that he gave His only Son! The only requirement is to believe in Him! So what does noel mean? It is a French word that means birthday! So it is a Christmas carol about Jesus first birthday! We all have a first birthday but Jesus birth was very different! First Jesus existed eternally with the Father before he came to earth! He is the only Son of God! He is man yet God! Divine! His mission some 2000 years ago was to sacrifice himself to deliver us from sin! The heavens and the scriptures both old and new testaments announced his first coming along with his second coming! From the manger to the Cross to the resurrection from the dead to his ascension back to heaven to his return back to earth at his second coming! Jesus deserves celebration! When Jesus came into my life I was born again! A new creature in Christ old things passed away! Is Christmas old stuff to you? Then you have not been born again!
