Divining for Money! Matthew 16:26

The Doctrine of Balaam teaches compromise, wanting Christians to forget they are called to be separate and Holy! (Leviticus 20:26; I Peter 1:2); the Doctrine of Balaam makes Christians indistinguishable from the world. (Matthew 5:13. The Doctrine of Balaam is a belief that a “little sin” does not hurt. (Galatians 5:9). , especially if there is some financial gain or personal benefit involved! (I Timothy 6:5). A person following the Doctrine of Balaam is willing to compromise his beliefs for the sake of economics! He acts to enable sinful behavior for personal gain or even participate in them! (Romans 1:32). Source: GotQuestions.org  Comment: So what is the first step of a Christian to become an unbeliever ? The first step is to work on Sunday for gain forsaking the House of Worship on Sunday! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

Godliness !

Enoch walked with God; he enjoyed a relationship with God. We could accurately say he was devoted to God. This is the meaning of Godliness. The New Testament word for Godliness, in its original meaning, conveys the idea of a personal attitude toward God that results in actions that are pleasing to God. This personal attitude toward God is what we call devotion to God. But it is always devotion in action. It is not just a warm, emotional feeling about God, the kind we may get from a hymn of worship. Neither is devotion to God merely a time of private Bible reading and prayer, a practice we sometimes call “devotions.” Although this practice is vitally important to a godly person, we must not think of it as defining devotion for us. Devotion is not an activity; it is an attitude toward God. This attitude is composed of the fear of God, the love of God and the desire for God. Godliness is the result of having God at the center of your thoughts! Source; Jerry Bridges, Copyright 1985. Comment; We as Christians can if not careful turn God on and off like a light switch! This is religion and not relationship. If we turn God on Sunday and turn Him off Monday through Saturday we are practicing religion and are not in relationship with Christ! Thankyou. Debt!

Proverbs Chapter 22, Verse 7, says; “The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender”. America is in trouble because of her personal and public debt! We got to our present mess by bad habits! Our culture continues to disregard Biblical values! If any people or nation spends more than it takes in a crisis is just ahead! The only way to stop this is for Americans to get their own house in order and then elect leaders in Washington who live within Biblical values and do not spend more taxes than they take in! Also reduce the tax burden on fellow Americans so they have more to spend to help our economy! Also for the rich to understand that they have an obligation to help the poor and not to take away their hope for a better tomarrow! Jesus paid a debt he did not owe and took upon himself my sin and has brought redemption to my life! I owe a debt I cannot pay and understand His grace did for me what I cannot do for myself!
