First and Second Kings were originally one book. They tell of David’s death, the golden age of Solomon’s reign, how the nation divided into two Kingdoms (Republican & Democrat), and their eventual captivity by heathen powers. (China) Could we be talking about America today? King Solomon compromised in order to achieve his political ends! The end justifies the means! He taxed the people so much it fostered a rebellion! The love of money today is the root of all evil! Abortion! He trusted his military more than God! The political changes reflected the abandonment of God by the culture! The good Kings (Southern Kingdom) tried to maintain the traditional worship of the true God! The bad Kings (Northern Kingdom) tried to abandon worship of the true God and replace him with Idol worship! The apostate Northern Kingdom led by King Jeroboam was destroyed! The Southern Kingdom Judah was more repentant and Jesus came through the line of Judah! What lessons can we learn from the Books of the Kings? 1. Human governments are faulty at best. 2. God’s rule continues in spite of the follies of men. 3. The will and purpose of God will prevail. 4. God still speaks through his prophets. Jesus Christ is the spirit of prophecy. 5. God shows his power through the forces of nature plagues, earth quakes, floods, droughts, famines and God incites foreign hostile armies (China) to accomplish his purpose. 6. God is always in control. 7. Time exposes true and false prophets. I Kings 13:33 “After this thing King Jeroboam returned not from his evil way, but again made the lowest of the people priests of the high places : whosoever would, he consecrated him, and [he] one of the priests of the high places.” Commentary: Sounds like Saul and Samuel? Satan’s purpose was always to be worshiped! To replace God’s worship! Every evil spirit wants to replace Jesus as King! Remember Jesus is prophet, priest and king! He is a trinity within himself! False worship is exposed in any culture by the rejection of Jesus Christ! He is replaced by Darwin, atheism and other forms of Idol worship! The State becomes your God! The State gets prayer out of schools! Darwin replaces creation! They get Bibles out of schools! Crosses are removed across the land! From cemeteries? Nativity scenes come down by court order! Political correctness hides truth! Cancel culture removes Christian voices! Abortion! Open borders! Sanctuary cities! Fraud in elections! Foreign religions promoted! Foreign governments bribe politicians! Deceptions and lies everywhere! The State goes after the righteous! The nation weakened spiritually and economically! The priests do not resist evil but join them! Wicked behavior like gay marriage, homosexuality, lesbianism, transgenderism promoted by the State and many priests! The church the 501c crowd becomes the State controlled church! No resistance to evil! Popular culture becomes church culture! The wheat and the chaff grow up together! However there will be a harvest! Spiritual warfare leads to political warfare and then to violence! Two voices speak one for good and one for evil! Two Kingdoms! Heaven and Hell! A true prophet of God went to a false prophet and the false prophet lied to him telling him he was a true prophet! It cost the true prophet his life! How can you distinguish the true from the false prophet today? What they do with Jesus Christ! Is he the King, Prophet and Priest of their life? How about you? Is there someone greater? Prophets! Hebrews 1:1
“The true God who at [sundry times] or in many portions and in [divers manners] or in many ways spoke in time past, unto the fathers by the prophets.” Commentary: In my opinion Kim Clement was the best prophet in the church for the 20th and part of the 21st Century! He prophesized the election of Donald Trump in 2016 all the way back to 2007! He also predicted Trump would be re-elected! He also said that God would not allow a witch in the White House! Years later I figured out he was talking about Hillary Clinton! The voice of the prophet is probably the most neglected and misunderstood office of the church in the 21st Century! In fact if you are a prophet today in the church God will have to feed you by a raven as he did Elijah! The true prophet is not concerned about his 501c tax exempt status! Here is how Kim Clement explains the office of the prophet! A prophet will pull from the future into the present! Seven years before the famine in Egypt Joseph pulled from the future into the present! By visions and dreams from God he saw it coming before it happened! Therefore the Pharaoh of Egypt and Joseph the Jew were able to prepare for it! When Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead he pulled from the future into the then present! Jesus pulled the future the resurrection of the dead even before the Cross into the present then so Lazarus could benefit! Some of the prophets like Isaiah and Micah who lived hundreds of years before the birth of Christ pulled from the future into the then present! When I had a vision of 9-11 months before it happened I was pulling the future into the present! Two years ago when I had the vision of American Sports arenas being turned into worship centers i was pulling the future into the present even though I did not know a plague would accomplish this! When you accept Christ today you are pulling your future into the present! You are executing your eternal life in the future into the here and now! My salvation in Christ is looking forward not back! Jesus on the Cross was looking forward! Andrew Wommack had his son raised from the dead! He through faith pulling the future into the present! Those in Christ will be given enough of the future to preserve life! Sin is about looking back! Abortion is looking back to the sin and the remedy of man death to fix it! Divers manners? God had to use a donkey to speak to a stubborn man! Draw your future in Christ into your present! He is the same yesterday, today and forever! A miracle is the future today! False Prophets in Church! 2 Peter 2:1
Greek translation: “But there were false prophets among the multitude of people, even as there shall be false teachers among you pretending to have the character of a Christian but promoting false doctrines, leading people astray with damnable heresies living in a state of death excluded from Salvation in a religious form contradicting the scriptures even declining and rejecting the moral authority of the Lord that bought them demonstrating this on the Cross yet bringing upon themselves swift destruction.” Comment: So what lie detector could I use to detect false prophets in the church? Your Bible my friend! Let me make this as simple as I can! Religion for dummies! Good title for a book! Anyone who tries to teach you that there is another way to God and Heaven other than through Jesus Christ is a deceiver and a liar! No organization can save you! No denomination can save you! Your mother cannot save you! Your Pastor, Priest, Pope and Rabbi cannot save you! A Republican or a Democrat cannot save you! Your religion cannot save you! Your money cannot save you! Your works however noble cannot save you! Your race cannot save you! Your gender cannot save you! Your earth worship cannot save you! You cannot save the planet and the planet cannot save you! Democracy cannot save you! Capitalism cannot save you! Socialism cannot save you! Your gun and drugs cannot save you! Your ideologies cannot save you! Your theology cannot save you! Your government cannot save you! Your flesh cannot save you for it will perish! Only someone outside of yourself and greater than yourself can save you! His name is Jesus Christ the only Son of the living God! No mortal can do that! Only God! Jesus has made a way for the mortal to put on immortality! Sheep without a Shepherd!
Zechariah 10:2 “For your idols domestic and household gods have spoken falsehood and wickedness, and the diviners and false prophets of foreign nations have selected a divide, and have told false empty disappointing dreams; they repent and grieve in vain: Therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd.” Comment: Does this describe America today? No shepherd? Lost sheep? If a sheep has no shepherd they fall prey to the wolves! The prey on our young people! Told lies by our educators! Told lies by our politicians! Told lies by our social media! Millions of babies have been sacrificed by abortion on the altar of child sacrifice! Seventy three thousand of our youth have died with drug overdose in 2017! Since 1999 over six hundred thousand youth have died from drug overdose! This is greater numbers than any war we have fought in American history! To make matters worse now states legalizing drugs which will increase these numbers! Drugs and criminals invading our nation through open borders! Policies made in Washington to destroy our youth! Law enforcement under attack everyday! Prayer evicted from our schools! Atheistic ideologies such as evolution taught our children in public education! The Ten Commandments removed from our institutions! Crosses taken down across our land! Is it any wonder our children have no hope? Their most precious hope Christ has been removed out of their lives! Mocked and scourged in front of them everyday! No nation has survived in history without the Good Shepherd! There is no civilization without Christ! The political correct; “Happy Holidays”, is meaningless without Christ! Any purpose outside of Christ will fail you one day! Your job, career and family are wonderful but they cannot save you! They will one day fail you! Our purpose in Christ will continue forever! Everything else will fail you! If you built your own Kingdom it will fail! If you build His Kingdom you will prevail! I was talking to a rich man yesterday. He told me he was just tired of Christmas! He wished it would get over? Without Christ nothing will replace his love and mercy because there is only one Christ! One Savior! One God! One Nation! One King! One Sacrifice! One Blood! One Atonement! One Lord! One Baby! Work of Holy Spirit! John 16:13
Greek Translation: “Now when the breath of God blows on you at the reality of my appearing he will show you the way into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear with the ear of the mind, that shall he announce to you things to come.” Comment: Jesus was not talking about fortune cookies here! The Apostle John also went on to write the Book of Revelation! Want to know the future? Do not go to a palm reader! Read the Word of God! Yes! Your Bible you never open! Most of the Church avoids the Book of Revelation? They pretend it does not exist? Is the church interested in the future? Does your future interfere with God’s plan for your life? What makes the Book of Revelation challenging is that John makes many references to Old Testament prophecies out of Ezekiel, Isaiah, Psalms and others but he does not reference these scriptures! So if you are not a student of the Old Testament it will be hard for you to understand! Remember the Old Testament prophets predicted the time and place of the arrival to earth of our Messiah! Hundreds of years before! They also predicted events today in the 21st Century! Tim Clement was probably the best prophet I have seen in my life time! I first met Kim back in the early 1990’s when he came to our old church Harvest Cathedral in Macon Georgia. After hanging around him and his piano a few minutes revelation would begin to come to you! Kim went on to prophecy in 2007 a leader by the name of Trump would come to power to turn America back to God! In 2013 Kim prophesized his first name “Donald!” This is why the left hates Trump so much! He is God’s choice and not their choice! Kim’s video’s are all on YouTube so you can check them out for yourself! Kim has gone on to the Lord! Kim was not a 50 percenter! Will it be Hillary or Trump in 2016? Even the Gamblers in Vegas can hit on this one! Kim did not divine for money! He was the real deal! God can use you just like Isaiah, Ezekiel and Kim! Remember that old song, “The future is not ours to say?” A big lie! We choose our future by accepting or rejecting Jesus Christ! God has predicted the future because he has written the future! Is your name in the Lamb’s Book of Life? God has spoken his word through his written word (logos) from the pages of your Bible! Our future is our choice! Speak the Rhema or spoken word from his written word and the life of God will come to you! God will then dwell in you and you will speak the things he gives you! Excitement will come to your life! An eternal purpose will come to you! Herod’s Letter to Caesar (John the Baptist)
To Tiberius Caesar and the Roman Senate; “My Noble Lords, Greetings: The facts in the case are about as follows: John the Baptist had set up a new mode of religion altogether different from the Jewish religion, teaching baptism instead of circumcision, which had been the belief and the custom of the Jews in all ages past. According to their theory, God appeared to Abraham hundreds of years before, and told him with his own lips how and what to do to be saved; and the Jews have lived according to this until it had become their nature, and all their forefathers had lived in this way. David, Solomon, Isaac, Jacob, and all the Holy prophets had gone to heaven in this way of God’s own appointment. Now, the question came to them, as they suggested it to me: Has God found that He is wrong? Has His wisdom failed Him? Or has the unchanged changed, and He is wavering in His purpose? Such would be the natural conclusion of a sensible man under the circumstances. Now, John the Baptist had no authority from God for what he was doing, as Abraham had. All he could say was, “He that sent me to baptize is true.” And he cannot tell who he was. Then his going into the wilderness; God had ordered Solomon to build the finest temple that was ever built in the world, and made promises that whosoever came to that house with his offerings his prayers should be heard and answered. This temple had been the place of their meeting for hundreds of years, for the Jews think this temple is the next place in heaven. Now see the difference; First John has no authorized authority. Second he changes God’s place of worship. Third he changes the doctrines. Fourth he changes the mode of application. Now, the idea of Gamaliel was that John wanted to be some great man; hence, he took this mode of eccentric life to establish it. And there is nothing better qualified than the course he took to make an impression upon the ignorant and unlearned–to go away out in the wilderness by himself, get a few friends from Jerusalem to go out and hear him, and come back and tell the great wonders which they had seen in the wilderness. Then John’s appearance–his long, uncombed hair and beard, his fantastic clothing, and his food, nothing but bugs and beans–such a course and such a character are well qualified to lead the illiterate astray. These troubles on the Jewish mind were very heavy, and gave such men as Hilderium, Shammai, Hillel and others great concern. And no wonder, for in their judgment it was vacating the temple of religious worship; it was blocking the road to heaven, and driving the poor and unsuspecting to ruin, as well as destroying the whole nation. So it was, by their request, as so ordered, that it was better to execute one to save the many for a worse fate. And this is the true reason for the deed, and not to please the whim of a dancing girl, as you have heard. Now, my lords, if this is not satisfactory, I would ask my accuser, Caius, to write any of the learned Jews, and learn if my statement is not correct. Herod Antipas
Real Prophets Suffer! 1 Kings Chapter 17
Elijah lived in a great day of Apostasy in Israel. King Ahab and Jezebel were Baal worshipers! The centerpiece of Baal worship was child sacrifice! Much like abortion in America today! However Elijah did not have a 501c tax exemption! He spoke some prophetic words over Ahab and Jezebel that were not nice! Like the dogs will lick your blood and there will not be enough left of you to bury! However Elijah started off with a drought predicted for the King! How would the 21st century prophets respond to Ahab and abortion? Maybe something like this? Ahab you are going to be rich and wealthy! Prosperity will be everywhere you look! You will be blessed, successful and famous! Peace will dominate your realm! Your lovely wife Jezebel is such a blessing to us! Ahab our ministry is growing everyday and a suggested donation of 30 pieces of silver would grant you God’s favor and we would pray for you! Elijah stuck with God’s word and Ahab sent his army after him! God sent Elijah to a remote area where a small stream provided water! This brook drained into the Jordan River. Then God set up a bird feeder for him! I might have complained here? Ravens are scavengers and are road kill specialists! The prophetic word that caused the drought caused the small stream to dry up! So God sent him to a widom and her son for supplies? She warmly received him and told him they have enough supplies for one meal then we can all die! Elijah told her the provisions would last through the drought! Then the widow’s son gets sick and dies? The widow blames Elijah for his death? I would have lost it here! You no good low down and i cannot finish the sentence here! Elijah keeps his cool and focuses on the real problem the dead son! Elijah raises the son from the dead! So what was the widow’s testimony? “Now i know you are a man of God and that the word of God is in your mouth and that it is truth!” Elijah and Moses with Jesus stood at the Mount of Transfiguration! Elijah was taken up to Heaven and did not physically die! At the Mount Elijah represented the Prophets. Moses the law and Jesus the Prophet, Priest and King! Covetousness? Jeremiah 6:13
So what does covetousness mean? It is a word in the Bible and it is something i do not want to do! I always thought it is just wanting someone else’s stuff? However according to the Hebrew definition it is much more than that! It is to gain through violence! It is dishonest gain or plunder! Like aborting babies and selling their body parts! Just before Israel went into captivity to Babylon this was the state of the people! This cancer affected the least to the greatest of people! Jeremiah went on to say it affected the Priests and Prophets also! They dealt falsely! Falsely means anything done with deceitfulness! To even do a right thing in appearance but with evil intentions! It simply means to lie with wicked intentions! So the whole Jewish culture was absorbed with covetousness! Were the Babylonian saints? They were even worse! God has a way to punish the wicked by sending someone to rule you that is even worse! History is full of Nations who have gone down this path! God will always have His voice through His Prophets to warn the people! I would remind America to listen to her Prophets as judgment will otherwise come! Where is the voice in the wilderness today in America? Where are His Prophets today? It is probably the only Church office vacant today! There are few around today! Hal Lindsey would be one of them in my generation! He is still going strong and he is in his eighties! A true prophet will not just address the Body of Christ but the political leaders and popular culture! John the Baptist got into King Herod’s face! His head was served up on a platter! Are the Jihadists the prophets of today? Not a lot of people running for this office! Remember King Ahab? He went to 400 prophets of Israel to get the green light to go to war with Syria. One prophet of Israel, Micaiah told Ahab not to go to war with Syria for the dogs will lick up his blood! The prophet got his face slapped and thrown in prison! King Ahab thought 400 to 1? How could i go wrong? The Lord told Micaiah i have put a lying spirit into these 400 prophets! Who is warning our political leaders in America today? Obama, Clinton and others? Is your 501c tax break worth it? Does it buy your silence? Do you take bribes and pervert justice? Donald Trump wants to change this law! If you as a Church leader get nervous when you hear this resign today! Some will say well Jesus has already come so we do not need them? Hold on! Jesus is coming again not as a Savior but as a Judge! If ever we needed Prophets to save the lost it is today! The lack of prophets today is a big part of our mess! My Bible says Jesus Christ is the Spirit of Prophecy! If Jesus is dwelling in you then Prophecy should be flowing out of your mouth like water! I believe Dinesh D’Souza is a modern day prophet for America! If Obama could get away with it he would chop his head off but instead put him in prison and ordered a mental insanity examination! If they cannot kill you then label you insane! Hall of Fame! 1 Kings 17:1
Is there a Hall of Fame in Heaven? Who is going to be in it? Will you be in it or will you be on the J.V. Team? Will God have to enroll you in remedial courses? Will the martyr’s be there? Will the servants of all be there? Some are probably thinking if i can just get my foot in the door! O’ you of little Faith! There is a Faith Hall of Fame! Elijah was a Prophet of Israel who went to King Ahab and told him he was a jerk! Elijah did not worry about losing his 501c tax benefit for his ministry! His ministry was not about collecting money! Great leaders could care less about money but will sacrifice their lives for the benefit of the people! Martin Luther King is one of those men i have witnessed in my life time! King Ahab married Jezebel who was basically a witch! She had a lot of brooms in her closet! They together had raised up an altar to Baal worship in Israel. Baal worship was sacrificial child worship like abortion is today in America! Elijah told Ahab there would be no rain in Israel until this stopped! Remember Elijah and all Israel was going to suffer in this drought! Great leaders are willing to suffer! However God sends Elijah to a brook that feeds the Jordon river and sends a raven to him to bring food daily! After the brook dried up God sends Elijah to a widow and her small son! Elijah asks the widow for food and she gladly obliges telling him she was preparing her last meal so they could all die! God does a miracle and keeps food in her pantry! Then her son gets sick to death and she blames Elijah? Elijah prays and the little boy recovers! The widow finally proclaims Elijah is a man of God and speaks truth! Elijah’s prominence among the Old Testament Prophets is seen in the fact that the forerunner of Christ, John the Baptist, was to come in the Spirit and Power of Elijah!
