Are You Good or Evil?
III John 1:11 “[Beloved] follow not that which is [evil], but that which is [good]. He that doeth good is of [God], but he that [doeth evil] hath not seen God.” Commentary: Let us examine these Greek words bracketed above in this scripture. Beloved means my beloved son as speaking to your children with important instructions. The word evil used here is like a military term. It means to retreat from battle! The battle between good and evil! You surrender to evil! You give up! Wave the white flag to wickedness! Evil people intentionally and willfully do harm to others! You surrender to abortion, gay marriage, homosexuality, transgenderism, evolution, false teachings, political causes that harm others, joining with wickedness and making disciples of Satan! The word good means to be useful and beneficial to others! To help to prosper people! You are a benevolent servant for others not harming them! To practice goodness! The word God used here means the true God! Christ! Notice the word follow! You will follow someone! The spirit you embrace that dwells in you will determine your character! When You No Longer Know You Are Evil!
The trouble with Eichmann was precisely that so many were like him, and that the many were neither perverted nor sadistic, that they were, and still are, terrible and terrifying normal! From the viewpoint of our legal institutions and of our moral standards of judgment, their normality was much more terrifying than all the atrocities put together! Hannah Arendt Commentary: The safety net God has given us is that we are all sinners and have come short of the Glory of God! Salvation is crucial to understanding we all need a Savior! To confess you are sinner is the first step to recognizing you do not have the morality to save yourself or anyone else! When Eichmann, Hitler and the inner circle rejected Christ things were set in motion to destroy themselves and millions more! They were Darwinists rejecting any intervention of God into the affairs of men! They were deceived by sin to a point where they no longer recognized their lost estate and neither were able to recognize their own evil! We see this same cycle in the American political left today! They are unable to see their own evil and then to blame their evil on the opposition just as Hitler blamed the Jews for his evil! To take personal responsibilities for our sin is to confess our sin to Christ and let him take your sin upon himself delivering us from evil! Then we no longer repeat the sin but give it up as a testimony to the power of Salvation! To love our enemies because they need the same opportunity for the Grace we have received! This Present Evil World!
Galatians 1:4 Greek Translation: “Who gave himself for our sins who we missing the mark or missing God with our offensive behavior towards God ignorant of God’s expectations of us. He has delivered us from this present evil world and has given us an eternal future according to the will and purpose of God our Father.” Comment: Present evil world? Whether the first Century or the twenty first Century good and evil transcend time! Heaven and Hell are past, present and future! Jesus said the closer we get to his second coming the worse the evil would get! So what did God do about this present evil world the Apostle Paul is speaking about? Evil has to be judged so God gave himself as a sacrifice for our redemption taking the judgment of death upon himself! So good has overcome evil! The good suffering for the evil! The good taking the guilt and punishment for the evil doers! This is really beyond our comprehension? In my natural mind the evil should get evil for their deeds! This would be fair! If I follow this line of thinking then we are all condemned! We could by ourselves could never meet God’s expectation of righteousness by our works! Therefore God had to do it for us! The Cross! Every generation has the same opportunity to receive Salvation through Christ! We have all chosen evil but we can chose our way out of it! Everyone will make a choice for or against Christ! Everyone has the freedom to chose life or death! So why would some chose death over life? Because they are deceived into believing there is no God! There is no Satan! There is no Heaven or Hell! There is no judgment! The biggest lie of deception in the 20th and 21st Century has been the teaching of our children in public schools the Theory of Evolution! This atheistic ideology was foundational to Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin and Hitler with a list of followers too long to describe here! However sadly this big lie is not challenged by the Church much and even accepted as some how reconcilable with Creation? If we are to save America we have to save our children from the public schools and get government out of the schools and privatize our school system! Socialism and the Church!
The fact that the Vatican is concluding a treaty with the new Germany means the acknowledgement of the Nationalist Socialist State by the Catholic church! This treaty shows the whole world clearly and unequivocally that the assertion that National Socialism is hostile to religion is a lie! Adolf Hitler Comment: The only thing that keeps socialism alive and well as a political option is the silence of the church in America! Since the 501c Tax exempt status was given to American churches by the then Senator Lyndon Johnson there has not been a better plan by Satan to silence the church in America! How did Hitler get the endorsement of the church? Why? Because the church was silent too long and allowed him to come to political power! Then once he had the power they the church were left with only two options! Resist and die or endorse and live! Many Pastors were executed by Hitler! We can never exchange money for the loss of our freedom here in America! Silence on any sin is an endorsement of evil! Whether it be abortion, homosexuality, transgenders, lesbians or the socialist policy of open borders and sanctuary cities and State Control of everything! Lead us not into Temptation!
Pope Francis wants to change this section of the Lord’s prayer to: “Keep us from falling into temptation.” I do not have any problem with this semantics however the word we need to pay attention to is “Temptation.” In James 1:13 it says God cannot be tempted neither does he tempt any man! Why? Because there is no sin in him and he is Holy! Satan is the father of sin and executer of all sin! What did Jesus mean by “Lead us not into Temptation?” What Jesus meant with this model prayer to the Father is lead us not into denying Christ! The only unpardonable sin is to deny Christ! Every other sin can be forgiven! To deny Christ is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit who is part of the Trinity along with Christ! I touched on this topic in January of 2018. You can type in on our search box of our blog, “Hour of Temptation! Revelation 3:10”, and it will take you to this posting. So in Revelation 3:10 what did Jesus mean by keeping us from the hour of temptation? Keeping us from denying Jesus! The 21 Coptic Christian believers who were beheaded last year were kept from the hour of temptation! Christ will give us strength not to deny him! So what are the forces in American culture that put pressure on you to deny Christ! There are many! Popular culture in Hollywood, Political correctness, political left, liberal media and social media, educational teaching of atheism in evolution, humanism, socialism, abortion, racial supremacy, anti-colonialism, gay marriage, lesbians and transgenderism! These are not all but the more obvious! These are the principalities and powers of darkness that will tempt you to deny Christ! So how do we resist the Devil? The same way Jesus did! With the Word of God! It is written man shall not live by bread alone! It is written! It is written! If you do not know your Bible you are hanging out on a limb! An eternity at stake! Jesus came to deliver us from our sin! The only way you can thwart God’s love for you is to deny him! So who would be so foolish? Many! Negative Exposure! Luke 2:34-35
Greek Translation: “And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, behold, this child is laid for a foundation for the fall and the resurrection of the body from the grave of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against; (yea, a sword shall pierce through your own soul also): that the thoughts and reasoning of many hearts shall be revealed what was hidden.” Comment: Simeon prepared Mary for many things to come! Even the miracles Jesus would do would be spoken against? Even today many speak against our Christ? The sword would pierce Mary’s own soul as she watched the Crucifixion! Jesus would expose the thoughts of many hearts! Jesus came to expose our sin! Then to save us from our sin! Christmas is all about the Salvation of humanity! Something we could never do on our own! Christmas is a solid case against our guilt and then an unearned acquittal of our guilt! However some like King Herod, Judas and many today thought that by their own efforts they can hide their sin from God! So foolish as to get rid of the only one who could save them! Sin is a strong addiction! It brings out the worst in us! It compliments evil! Confession is difficult because people are in love with themselves but not God! It is all about making yourself God! You decide who lives or dies rather than dying to self and let God live in you! All false religion is about making yourself God! God became a human to make us fit for Heaven! Without Christ no amount of human effort will ever make us fit for Heaven! It will only prepares us for Hell. No one can forgive you except God himself! Just like a negative film it takes light to expose the true image! We were made in the Image of God but only His light can expose and correct the imperfections in our image! Decisions! Decisions! Decisions!
President Trump got it right! Chief Justice Roberts got it wrong! We do have liberal and conservative judges in all courts across America! This includes federal, state and municipal courts! We do have Democratic and Republican judges across America! From the Supreme court on down to the lowest court in America! Every man and woman on the court interprets the law according to their belief about where the law came from? Did the law come from God down to man or did man evolve just making up laws as we went along? Was the law given to us by God sovereign over man indisputable never to be changed? Or did man just create his own laws through the chain of evolutionary development? Bottom line is conservative judges are creationists! They take serious the Biblical model of creation and God’s laws given to man! Liberal judges are evolutionists or atheists believing God has no role in the creation and development of man! God is not sovereign over his creation so we make up our own rules! The best evidence of liberal and conservative judges is the split decisions on the Supreme court and the lower courts! If all are equal under the law then all court decisions would have the same outcome! They do not! Very rare! Man interprets the law based on the presumption of where the law came from! If the law did not come from God then I must make the law! I must legislate the law since there is no God! Liberals do not recognize the sovereignty of God! This is why they end up working against God! Gay marriage is one example! Since there is no God we can make laws contrary to God’s laws! What happens when we go down this road is we end up with a lawless culture! No respect for authority! Kill cops! Smoke drugs! Open borders and sanctuary cities! Divorce! Open borders and sanctuary cities are a rebellion against God’s sovereignty and National sovereignty! It is the new way of ceding from the union as in the civil war! What are some of the characteristics coming soon in the Tribulation period of seven years headed by the Anti-Christ? No borders! One world government! No laws! Total anarchy! No judges! Every man will do what is right in his own eyes! When Jesus returns at the end of the 7 year tribulation period what will he do? He will judge the nations in righteousness! Judge Kavanaugh was assassinated by the political left because they know if he gets in God may still be recognized as the giver of our laws and sovereign over the universe! He That Overcometh! Revelation 2:11
Comment: Jesus repeated this over and over again to the church! He that overcometh I will give the crown of life! He that overcometh will escape the second death! What does the word really mean? Let us go to the Greek root word. The word is “Nikao”. The word means to subdue and conquer! To have success in victory! The Greek root word also has a root word! It is the word “Niki”. You got it! It is the athletic foot wear company named Nike! It means conquest! If you are in the body of Christ and believe you will never have a fight with the devil in this life you are in denial! You are in “La La” Land! This life in your generation just as in all preceding generations is a battle between good and evil! You can try to ignore it but it will not go away! You can wish it away? You can try to isolate it away? You can try to spend it away? However you have to join a team and play! Your team can win but you must fight the good fight of faith and face your enemy! Jesus has given you the tools to overcome! To win the victory! His Word! His Spirit! His power! His love! We conquer in Christ’s name! Satan was conquered on the Cross! However in his stupidity he thinks he can still win! He will try to take as many down as he can in defeat! This week a young man went on a mission trip to a remote island where a remote tribe lived! He was martyred! Others will follow to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth! This missionary gave his all to take the Gospel into all the world! If I live my life sheltered, protected, financially secure, and die of old age in this condition I have wasted my life for nothing! The church of Jesus Christ is a conquering army! It is an offensive army! We have real sacrifices and we take some casualties in this war against evil! But we win and will eat of the Tree of Life forever! The Democrat Caravan!
Heaven has borders! Heaven has gates! God does not just let anybody in! You have to legally apply for entrance! Your sin has to be forgiven! You have to legally by law accept the conditions for pardon of your sin! You cannot climb up another way! What the Democrats are pushing for is the one world government! The world order Jesus predicted would come before Christ’s second coming! It would be lead by the Anti-Christ a ruthless dictator that brings death and destruction beyond anything history has shown us yet! The one world government will be a Socialist State! You will not even be able to buy food unless you take their mark! The Democrats Socialism is a war against Nationalism! It is a war against our National Flag and our military! It is a war against Christianity because Christ has a Kingdom with borders! The righteous separated from the wicked! There are no borders in Hell! No rules! Anything goes! Loyalty is rejected! Marriage is rejected! Crime is welcomed! Evil is adorned! The one world government will come sooner or later! The question to you is you play a part in its promotion or delay! If you want to give up your freedom our Constitution affords us and move to a deep State where every decision you used to make for yourself is made by the State for you!
