Comment: Jesus repeated this over and over again to the church! He that overcometh I will give the crown of life! He that overcometh will escape the second death! What does the word really mean? Let us go to the Greek root word. The word is “Nikao”. The word means to subdue and conquer! To have success in victory! The Greek root word also has a root word! It is the word “Niki”. You got it! It is the athletic foot wear company named Nike! It means conquest! If you are in the body of Christ and believe you will never have a fight with the devil in this life you are in denial! You are in “La La” Land! This life in your generation just as in all preceding generations is a battle between good and evil! You can try to ignore it but it will not go away! You can wish it away? You can try to isolate it away? You can try to spend it away? However you have to join a team and play! Your team can win but you must fight the good fight of faith and face your enemy! Jesus has given you the tools to overcome! To win the victory! His Word! His Spirit! His power! His love! We conquer in Christ’s name! Satan was conquered on the Cross! However in his stupidity he thinks he can still win! He will try to take as many down as he can in defeat! This week a young man went on a mission trip to a remote island where a remote tribe lived! He was martyred! Others will follow to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth! This missionary gave his all to take the Gospel into all the world! If I live my life sheltered, protected, financially secure, and die of old age in this condition I have wasted my life for nothing! The church of Jesus Christ is a conquering army! It is an offensive army! We have real sacrifices and we take some casualties in this war against evil! But we win and will eat of the Tree of Life forever! Socialism & Poverty!
Socialism has no moral justification whatsoever; poor people are not morally superior to rich people, nor are they owed anything because of their lack of success. Charity (Love) is not a socialist concept–it is a religious one, an acknowledgment of God’s sovereignty over property, a sovereignty the Left utterly rejects! Salvation through the Jew! Genesis 49:10
Hebrew Translation: “The septre or staff with authority to punish, fight and rule shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver engraving and writing ordaining Kingship to Judah from between his feet, until Shiloh the Messiah come; and unto him shall the gathering of the whole human race be.” Comment: Today we as believer’s in Christ sit before his Throne in Heaven submitting to his authority! One day at the Judgment Seat of Christ he will be seated but you and I will stand before him so judged to everlasting life and some to everlasting punishment! So why did God give us the Law? Simply to show us we all need the Savior! The truth is we are and will submit to someone! It may be God or it may be Satan! I was blind but now I see! I served Satan for years then one day just like the Apostle Paul a great light shone over me and the scales were removed from my eyes! I can see clearly now! You cannot discern you destiny unless Christ intervenes and shows you your error! I will one day stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ! However for me his judgment for my sin was taken by the judge and paid for on the Cross at Calvary! You do not want to take your own judgment! You will end up in Hell. The choice is still ours to make! This life is short but eternity is forever! Where we spend it is the most important decision you will ever make! Does God Discriminate?
Yes he does! He discriminates between good and evil! In fact he has prepared a place for some in Heaven and he has prepared a place for some in Hell!
The choice to where you spend eternity in one of these two places is totally based on your decision! You have a choice! Israel Forever! Isaiah 59:21
Hebrew Translation: “As for me this is my league and confederacy with them. This is my covenant between me and them established by a sacrifice. My Spirit is upon thee, and my words which I have put in their mouth, shall not depart out of their mouth, nor out of the mouth of their offspring, nor out of the mouth of following generations said the Lord, from today, tomorrow, and the hidden and concealed things will perpetuate eternally!”
No Intercessor? Isaiah 59:16
Hebrew Translation: “And the Lord saw that there was no individual man among men and was astonished, appalled and desolated that there was no intercessor; therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness with mercy, honesty, fairness, justice, integrity and truth established a relationship between men and God.” Comment: Isaiah lived about 700 years before the birth of Christ! So here among many other scriptures we have a prophecy of a special event in history planned and executed by God for the redemption of men! Marrying and Given in Marriage? Matthew 24:37-39
I always thought Jesus was talking about traditional marriage between a man and a woman! I thought Jesus was trying to communicate that things were carrying on as before and then suddenly He returns! However, a Jewish Rabbi Charne Dov Keller has a different perspective! In the ‘Inside Israel Newsletter’, (Vol. 13, No. 7), he writes in the ‘Jewish Observer’, ‘The Midrash (Acharie Mos) tells us that the Generation of the Flood was wiped out only because they wrote marriage contracts between males just as they did for conventional couples! We can better understand the cultural expression ‘only because’ as meaning the ‘singular primary reason’ in importance as the cause why God brought the Flood upon the world at that time in antiquity! The next destruction was Sodom and Gomorrah for the same reason! The Apostle Jude warns us in verse 7 of our history and mentions going after strange flesh meaning homosexuality and bestiality! Is Rabbi Keller correct? If he is then that means we are very close to the Rapture of His Church and God’s hammer of Judgment coming on the world! Some Pastor’s claim all sin is the same? The Church Of Jesus Christ Needs To Put In Writing!
Worried they could be sued by gay couples, some churches are changing their bylaws to reflect their view that the Bible allows marriage only between one man and one woman. Judges and courts like to see things in writing. So does our God as He put it in writing to us and gave us our Bible!
