Mercy + Grace = Salvation!

Luke 1:50  Greek Translation: “And his mercy or the relief from the misery and consequences of sin is on them that fear or reverence God from generation to generation.” Comment: This verse is part of Mary’s song of praise! We lived on mercy before grace came! His mercies endure forever! Jesus said blessed are the merciful for they will obtain mercy! Mercy is given to everyone! Mercy is a holding pattern until grace rescues us! It rains on the just and the unjust! We cannot earn the rain it is just there for us! Mercy does not require a response but grace does! Judgment only comes when we reject his grace! Mercy held me until the time when I received his grace through Jesus Christ! When I graduated from high school back in 1967 two of my classmates were killed in accidents before the year ended! Does that mean I was better than them? No! Mercy stayed me until I came to Christ! Mercy handed me off to grace! Remember after Jesus was crucified he went into the heart of the earth and preached to the captives! Mercy had held them there until Christ came to save them! You can reject mercy but not grace without consequences! The Old Testament Saints were secured by mercy until grace came! To reject Christ is judgment the opposite of grace! People reject the mercy of God everyday but not his grace! By grace you are saved and not of yourselves! Everyone gets mercy but the expiry date comes when you reject his grace! When you reject Christ! Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever! That is good news for the saved and the sinner! You cannot do the math without both factors! You already have the mercy so what are you going to do with his grace? James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

No Intercessor? Isaiah 59:16

Hebrew Translation: “And the Lord saw that there was no individual man among men and was astonished, appalled and desolated that there was no intercessor; therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness with mercy, honesty, fairness, justice, integrity and truth established a relationship between men and God.” Comment: Isaiah lived about 700 years before the birth of Christ! So here among many other scriptures we have a prophecy of a special event in history planned and executed by God for the redemption of men! This is why it is so serious a sin to reject the Christ that God sent to earth to make a way for redemption of men! In fact it is the unpardonable sin! The only one yet many commit out of rebellion! Volcano’s! Acts 2:19

Greek Translation: “And I will show wonders or strange appearances in Heaven with different qualities of the same miracles in higher places in Heaven above, and signs or miracles with a moral purpose in the earth beneath with time and age; blood, fire and vapor of smoke.” Comment: Volcano’s have been in the news lately! The Bible speaks about them in both the Old and New Testament! Volcano’s can be used for good or bad! The Hawaiian Islands were built by volcano’s and so was Iceland! Other islands and land masses were formed by volcano’s on the earth! Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by a volcano! Remember Pompeii and several other cities in Italy were destroyed by a Volcano in 79 A.D.? The city was in idol worship with all the Roman, Greek and Egyptian gods! They worshiped ISIS the Egyptian goddess! Ice is formed with volcano’s on the moons of Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune! Volcanic winters have caused catastrophic famines on the earth! Noah and his family were saved by the flood yet the rest of the earth was drowned by the same water! Here is an important point to get out of this Bible verse! God will use signs and wonders or miracles to render a moral purpose in the earth! The same water that rescued the Jews and Moses through the Red Sea was the same water that drowned the Egyptians! Judgment or Salvation can come through the same elements of the earth and Heaven! The same blood of Jesus Christ will save some and condemn others! You can either receive God’s love with Mercy or you can reject His love with Judgment! The choice is yours to make! Judgment Seat of Christ! Isaiah 16:5

700 B.C. Hebrew Translation: “And with mercy with forgiveness of sins shall the Royal Throne be established with faithfulness and stability: and he shall sit upon it in truth, firm and faithful in the Tabernacle of David the dwelling place of his family, judging by punishing the wicked and legitimizing the righteous, and seeking judgment by rendering a judicial verdict and hastening righteousness by doing the right thing morally and legally.”

Heaven or Hell?

Two places are ordained for man to dwell in after this life! While he is here, he may choose, by God’s mercy, which he will; but once he is gone from here, he may not do so. For whichever he first goes to, whether he like it well or ill, there he must dwell forevermore! He shall never after change his dwelling, though he hates it ever so badly! John Wycliffe (1320-1384)

Psalm 23:4 Hebrew Translation

Even though i walk through spiritual darkness i will not be frightened of the wickedness around me for though art with me! Thou Rulership, support and sustenance, they avenge me! Comment: Notice David left the vengeance to God! That is why he did not go after Saul even though Saul was trying to kill him! Forgiveness does not stop God’s vengeance on the offending party! However your forgiveness allows God time to give the offender time to repent! If you do not forgive you also will not escape God’s vengeance! If the offending party will not repent God’s vengeance will fall like a hammer! However your forgiveness and the offending party forgiveness will bring God’s Mercy! James and Hamsa Sasse. Mercy and Consequences! 2 Kings 24:3-4

These two words seem contradictory but yet they compliment each other! You cannot have one without the other! Manasseh repented and found Mercy from God for his sins he committed but God did not remove the consequences of what he had done. (2 Chronicles 33:12-13) For Christ to forgive the world of sin their were consequences for Him! It is called the Cross at Calvary! Physical death is still a consequence for the human family for the sin of our first parents Adam and Eve! If you or i had been the first parents we would have done the same thing! However for those in Christ death is not permanent for Jesus has promised to raise us from the dead as He was raised from the dead for us! Consequences in life are real but not permanent! The joy of our salvation has overcome the fear of sin and death! God’s love has overcome our evil! His love has removed our guilt and shame! If we reject Christ then our consequences become permanent with no relief and separation from God eternally! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

Christmas is a Spirit!

Christmas is not a time nor season but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas! President Glover Cleveland (1872-1933)  Comment: Let Christ dwell in you in His fullness this Christmas and forever! Ignore the spirits of Anti-Christ who murder people and try to remove Christmas tree’s and children’s Christmas skits and plays! No one can steal Christ and the peace and hope of His indwelling presence living in us! Merry Christmas! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com
