Fall & Rise of Many!

Luke 2:34  Greek Translation: “And Simeon (Priest) blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold this child (Jesus), is set as a foundation to be taken up and used fulfilling the law for the benefit of men for the fall and rising or resurrection of the body from the grave for many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against.” Comment: Everyone will be resurrected from the dead! Some to everlasting life and some to everlasting judgment! Jesus fulfilled the law by taking our sin and the judgment of death for it on a Cross taking the penalty for us! Jesus sacrificed himself for your benefit! Whether we fall or rise will be based upon what we do with Jesus! Accept his sacrifice or reject it! Salvation or judgment! If you take your own judgment there is no escape! Because he took your judgment he has the exclusive right to judge the living and the dead! Jesus is a sign that shall be spoken against? You would think everyone would be delighted to escape Hell! Why would people gamble with their soul and eternity? Life is short but eternity forever! What was true in the 1st Century is true in the 21st Century! If Jesus was just a myth concocted in the 1st Century why is he so vehemently opposed in the 21st Century? This confirms that Jesus is the way, truth and life and no man comes to the Father but by him! So which group do you belong? The falling or the rising? King Herod made his choice! Judas made his choice! Like Jesus spoke of Judas if you reject the Son of God it would be better you had not been born! In the 21st Century the progressive political left has joined King Herod and Judas! The political conservative right has embraced Jesus! Frog in the Pan! Hebrews 11:6

“But I was very unwilling to give up my belief: I feel sure of this, for I can well remember often and often inventing day dreams of old letters between distinguished Romans, and manuscripts being discovered at Pompeii or elsewhere, which confirmed in the most striking manner all that was written in the Gospels. But I found it more and more difficult, with free scope given to my imagination, to invent evidence which would suffice to convince me. This disbelief crept over me at a very slow rate, but was at last complete. The rate was so slow that I felt no distress, I can indeed hardly see how anyone ought to wish Christianity to be true: for if so the plain language of the text seems so slow that the men who do not believe, and this would include my Father, Brother and almost all my best friends, will be everlastingly punished.” Charles Robert Darwin  Comment: Charles Darwin invented evidence that is false science and debunked by the Laws of God and his Creation! Charles invented evidence to support his unbelief! The Theory of Evolution! My Bible says without Faith it is impossible to please God! That is we do not as mortal men know everything! If we take one morsel of science and hang a theory on it then we are subject to error!  The science that exists is predictable but what we do not know in natural science cannot be used as a basis for any theory! His theory is not supported by science and the observations recorded in history! The greatest scientist is God! He created us and understands everything about us! That is man has the propensity to sin! Even creating theories that oppose him! There is only one road to Heaven and many roads to Hell. Darwinism is taught to your children in public schools today and for past 70 years or more! Jesus Christ the only Son of God who died on a Cross 2000 years ago for our sin is the only way to the Father and to eternal life! Men come and go in history but history was written by Almighty God to determine who will have Faith in the earth! You can gamble on a theory but not me! New World Order? Daniel 8:25

From the Tower of Babel to the United Nations man has made many efforts to form a one world government with the deceptive promise of peace! Here is a quote from the Book of Daniel about the Anti-Christ the future ruler of the one world government: “He will cause deceit to prosper, and he will consider himself superior. When they feel secure, he will destroy many and take his stand against the Prince of princes. Yet he will be destroyed but not by human power.” Here is another quote by C.S. Lewis: “It does not matter how you rearrange the rotten eggs you still get a bad omelette!” The Millennium will feature Jesus Christ ruling as a one world leader in perfect peace because He is the Prince of Peace! Have a Rewards Card?

2 Samuel 22:21 The Lord rewarded me……….. Rewarded means to restore or repay! You are appointed benefits conveyed to you under God’s sovereignty! God rewards good and punishes evil! Jesus said in my house are many mansions! The word house here in the Greek conveys a meaning of a dwelling place in regards to a family! The word mansion in the Greek conveys the idea of a continual dwelling place! You don’t get thrown out if you cannot pay the rent or the mortgage payment! The payment for your stay was paid on the Cross! The Land Lord or the mortgage company will love you until you miss one payment! A continual dwelling means forever! A mortgage company will reward you only after 30 years of regular payments! Your debt has already been paid! This dwelling place includes Christ and His family! No others! New Life Church Sermon Notes. June 23, 2013

Scripture; Matthew 5; 33-35 1. Mean what you say and say what you mean – Honesty, Integrity. 2. Low Trust = Many Laws. We hear out of Washington everyday the following; “We will write another law so this never happens again!” 3. High Trust = Few Laws. 4. Build trust in our families. 5. Lack of trust causes us to withdraw from relationships. In Jesus day no one could trust the Roman government. They deceived the people with unjust taxes, excess spending, bribes, deception, ect. The religious leaders in Jesus day also wrote more laws as trust declined. 6. Jesus gave us a new way of being human. 7. God is an oath maker and a promise keeper – No double talk. 8. Satan is the accuser of the brethren. Five common lies or exaggerations told by Christians; 1. I will pray for you. 2. It is great to see you. 3. I am doing great. 4. I have read all the above and agree with the terms. 5. I love you brother. Three questions arise when we hear one or more of the five statements. 1. Is he or she hyping something? 2. Is he springing something? 3. Is he trying to sell me something? People try to exaggerate and manipulate people. Insecurity causes exaggeration. Would you love me if you saw the real me? Adam and Eve hid from God. Our vulnerabilities project a lifestyle. To manipulate is selfish. Words are used in a deceptive way to try to get a desired outcome. The Bible calls it witchcraft. The witch uses shame, guilt, fear and twists words to get people to believe something that is not true. This is demonic. Powerful but demonic. God is truth and love and not shame. Talk openly to your children about the beauty of God’s creation including sex and the purpose of it. Adolescence who are shamed about sex will have a great difficulty entering into a healthy sexual relationship when they are married. Please see Ephesians 4:14-15. Speak the truth in love. How do we speak the truth in love? Answer the following questions. 1. Have you prayed for them? 2. Do I see good and potential in them? 3. Will I be helpful to them? 4. Am I rested? God made an oath and promises to us. They are as follows; 1. I will be with you always. 2. Nothing can take you from my Father’s hand. 3. I will not leave you as orphans. 4.
