Luke 2:34 Greek Translation: “And Simeon (Priest) blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold this child (Jesus), is set as a foundation to be taken up and used fulfilling the law for the benefit of men for the fall and rising or resurrection of the body from the grave for many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against.” Comment: Everyone will be resurrected from the dead! Some to everlasting life and some to everlasting judgment! Jesus fulfilled the law by taking our sin and the judgment of death for it on a Cross taking the penalty for us! Jesus sacrificed himself for your benefit! Whether we fall or rise will be based upon what we do with Jesus! Accept his sacrifice or reject it! Salvation or judgment! If you take your own judgment there is no escape! Because he took your judgment he has the exclusive right to judge the living and the dead! Jesus is a sign that shall be spoken against? You would think everyone would be delighted to escape Hell! Why would people gamble with their soul and eternity? Life is short but eternity forever! What was true in the 1st Century is true in the 21st Century! If Jesus was just a myth concocted in the 1st Century why is he so vehemently opposed in the 21st Century? This confirms that Jesus is the way, truth and life and no man comes to the Father but by him! So which group do you belong? The falling or the rising? King Herod made his choice! Judas made his choice! Like Jesus spoke of Judas if you reject the Son of God it would be better you had not been born! In the 21st Century the progressive political left has joined King Herod and Judas! The political conservative right has embraced Jesus! Truth Crushed to Earth Rises Again!
1 Peter 3:16 Greek Translation: “Having a good, useful, benefiting others conscience knowing together and bearing witness of your moral obligations of your faith, as of evil doers with thoughtless words falsely accusing you with malice causing injury to you, that they may be ashamed that falsely accuse you in your good conversation and behavior in Christ.” Comment: Satan is our real accuser to mock the followers of Christ! It does not matter what generation we live in he is the same! However the love of God is also the same for every generation! As a follower of Christ you are going to be wrongly accused in this life! The young man in Texas who shot and killed many people may have been wrongly fired from his job but we leave the wrongs done to us with God for even he was wrongly accused! God says vengeance is mine! Satan accused God all the way back to the Garden of Eden as recorded in the Book of Genesis! Satan convinced Adam and Eve that God was a liar! God surely did not say you would physically die if you ate of this tree? Jesus come down from the Cross if you are God? He saved others but cannot save himself? Satan can only hold sway over you if you believe his lies! Through reading and studying your Bible everyday you will be able to see the deceptions of Satan! Just like God Satan is a spirit that dwells in people! Jesus at his ascension also sent his Holy Spirit to dwell in believers until his second coming back to earth! The Holy Spirit also exposes the deceptions of Satan! God is truth and every man a liar! Jesus said I am the truth! The way and the life! Truth will always expose a lie! Satan was a liar from the beginning! Just tell Satan if I were perfect I would be God! Satan I am a forgiven sinner but you are an unforgiven sinner! Forgiven sinners in Heaven and unforgiven sinners in Hell. You can accuse me and the Christ that lives within me but you will never convince me to abandon my faith in Christ! You can behead me but my last words will praise my Savior! As the Father of lies you can never be trusted! Your doom is sure and your time is short before the final judgment being cast into the Lake of Fire! My home is Heaven with all the benefits Jesus has promised me! Satan God has promised you a place in Hell along with your followers! I cast you out of my life in the name of Jesus Christ! I cover myself with the blood of the Lamb! I see a problem in the 21st Century church here in America! Not from every pulpit but in many! Hell is never mentioned anymore? Satan is never mentioned! I know some pastors want to sell their books and make the money but to remain popular is a heavy price to pay for omitting the truth! Jesus talked more about hell than he did heaven! To hear many from the pulpit today you would think Satan and Hell does not exist? If Satan and Hell do not exist then Jesus went to the Cross for nothing! Not to be an accuser of the brethren but to warn us the whole Gospel has to be preached! The Democrats only have three cards in their deck! They play these three cards over and over again! They have the race card! They have the sex card! They have the religion card! They have pulled the sex card on Judge Kavannah! They did the same thing with Judge Clarence Thomas years ago! Remember Anita Hill? This is a political smear to knock his nomination off the rails for the Supreme Court! The Democrats cannot rise above the sewer and come up with idea’s that will help the American people rather than spend their time through lies and deceit to take down American’s who really have good idea’s! Jesus said two of the signs of His second coming would be; “Nation would rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom.” Comment: So what is the difference between a nation and a kingdom? When you look the Greek words up it becomes clear! The word nation means the non-Jewish nations warring against each other! The word kingdom is very different! It means a dominion or realm of people living in a territory under political leadership. So this would describe an internal fight between a peoples within a nation. It would describe a civil war! Like Syria or American civil war over slavery. Is America heading for another civil war? Would you like a beautiful wedding under the ocean sky? Let your colors be selected by your Creator! Let us begin with a turquoise sky contrasted by a white sand beach. Decide your water colors depending on the time of day. As the sun rises and sets over this occasion let the orange ball of light speak of eternity as it’s color spectrum dances in your mind. Let the sound of waves provide your music. Even the hermit crabs will come out of their homes and see this occasion. The clams will clap their shells in approval. The sea gulls and pelicans will get a bird’s eye view. They may even take a day off from fishing. The dolphins will break the surface to catch a glimpse. A sea foam green carpet stretched from the gazebo to the water will provide continuity. A guest book for surfers and beach bums would be polite. A bare foot dance in the sand would be down to earth. When the crabs come out to dance with you things are getting right. Let your gown, slippers and jewelry match your creation. Sea food should be on the menu.
