Most Requested Bible Verse 2019

Philippians 4:6  Greek Translation: “Be careful for nothing, not even one, no matter what he may be, but in everything by prayer your requests to God for a particular benefit, with thanksgiving let your petitions be made known to God and the Revelation of his saving purpose.” Comment: The Bible App has had over 400 million users in 2019. So why is Philippians 4:6 the most requested scripture verse in all the Bible? This App has the Bible in 1350 languages! Even so still there are over a billion people in the world who do not have the Bible in their native language! If you had asked me to guess what scripture would be most popular I would have guessed John 3:16. I would have thought it would have been a scripture spoken directly by Jesus! Like go out into all the world and preach the Gospel! A lot of scripture explains who God is! You would call this Theology. However in this scripture it is about you talking to God! Prayer is about talking to God! But we need to know who God is or who we are talking to! It is hard to talk to someone you do not know! You cannot be intimate with them! The critics might say well this shows us how selfish these Christians are! Give me! Me! Me! It is all about me! However God is a giving God! Back to John 3:16. For God so loved the world that he gave… We also need balance here!  Satan told Jesus if he would bow down and worship him he would give him all the Kingdoms of this world! So Satan can give you stuff but not eternal life! He will use the stuff to try to keep you out of the Kingdom of God! We need the whole council of God or we balance the scriptures against each other! We need a stable faith! All the Bible provides this balance! It prevents extremes! Does this verse stand by itself! Yes! But the Bible interprets itself! You need all the scriptures to see the clear picture or Image of God! Jesus prayer was not my will but thy will be done! Satan promised Jesus I will give you the stuff! God’s will was for him to go to the Cross! Some Christians pray “If it is thy will.” No! Thy will be done in my life wherever that takes me! Whether a dungeon in Rome! Paul wrote the Book of Philippians from a jail cell! Paul and Silas sang worship songs together at midnight but it was not in a church choir! They were chained together on a prison floor! Is my prayer to win the lottery? The problem is that if we do not pray and we get something good we will take the credit upon ourselves! If we pray and God gives it to us as we prayed  we know it is from God and we can give him the Glory and Worship! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

Sons of God / Daughters of Men Genesis 6:1

Over history three main theories are advanced to explain this. The first theory is the “sons of god” are fallen angels and the daughters of men are mortals. This ancient viewpoint hinges in part on the assumption that Jude 1:6-7 refers to these angels. If this sin is perpetuated by angels then why is man punished in the flood? Christ said in Matthew 22:30 that angels do not marry. There is some difficulty in understanding mortals as descendants of angels and not from Adam.(Acts 17:26) The second theory is that the “sons of god” are from the Godly line of Seth while the “daughters of men” are of the line of Cain. The sin which they are charged is common to the whole scripture, especially the Pentateuch; the intermarriage of the chosen people of God with those who are unholy. How can these men be considered holy when the Bible states only Noah was holy. (Genesis 6:8-9) Why is the “sons of god” not used with this meaning in any other place? Why only sons and not daughters are associated with the line of Seth? The last theory is very popular among conservatives. Recent archaeological evidence suggests that the term “sons of god” was sometimes used to describe kings (Exodus 21:6, 22:8, Psalm 82:6-7) Therefore the ‘sons of god” are immoral kings who use their power to take women and use them at their will. Well pick your pleasure or poison on your choice here? Regardless these were acts of immorality. Who are the “sons of god” today? Who are the “daughters of men” today? God has sons and daughters! Who are the sons and daughters of men today? The sons and daughters of god are those who have accepted Jesus Christ into their lives! Born gain! The sons and daughters of men are those who have only had the first birth or natural birth and not the second birth! They have either rejected Christ or are living out of ignorance or do not have the knowledge and revelation about Him. Thankyou. James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

Anti-Christ is a Jew and Gay! Daniel 11:37

According to the Bible in the Book of Daniel Chapter 11, verse 37, desribes some of his character and race. It is interesting that Jesus is a Jew and so is the Anti-Christ. This is one of the reasons the Jews are deceived by this guy during the 7 year tribulation period of history. They believe a Jew would not turn on a Jew. Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed by God for their gay life style as were they during the flood in Noah’s day. However the homosexuals are back as the United States government and other world governments promote them with our tax dollars. Jesus warned us that the last days before his return would be as in the days of Noah. The spirit of Anti-Christ has always been with us but the embodied man Anti-Christ will soon emerge as the one world ruler. The spirit of Anti-Christ promotes death through abortion, gay marriage, gambling, drug abuse, prostitution, divorce and every other sin on earth. Remember when Herod tried to abort Jesus through the murder of the children in Bethlehem. We as Christians should not be surprised about prophetic events as they unfold before our eyes. Law Verses Grace!

Text; Galatians Chapter 5, Verse 4. This text is often missused to teach that the phrase “fall from grace” means that a person can loose his or her salvation. In the context of the verses one through three Paul is teaching how depending on the law of Moses for salvation makes Christ’s work on the Cross meaningless! Then in verse four, he speaks about those who think they can justify themselves through the law. Because these people chose to obey the law for salvation , they have no room for Jesus Christ and His Grace. The key to understanding the phrase “you are fallen from grace” is seen in the verb(expesate, Srongs 1601), which is better translated from the Greek as, “have fallen.” It does not mean that the Grace of God was evident at one time and then lost. Rather, a person deviates from the truth of grace and chooses justification by law. Grace does have law in it, (Christ on the Cross for our sin), but the law has no grace outside of itself! The law has only penalty which is death. God has given us Grace which is a Gift and He will not take it away! If someone rejects His Gift it will not void His Gift to those who accept it! Christ kept the law completely and fulfilled the law even to death on the Cross! Source; Hebrew-Greek Key Word Study Bible, Copyright 2008. Thankyou. James Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

Where Does Faith Come From?

The Bible says that God has given every man a measure of Faith! The Book of Romans Chapter 10, verse 17 says; So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. God’s word contains His Faith! So we use God’s Faith to get saved and to perform every miracle that follows in our lives! So Faith comes from God and we do not claim it as our own but use it or appropriate it and credit it back to God for His Glory! I would recommend to you to go on line and subscribe to Andrew Wommack Daily Devotionals. 2012 Election Year Tax Issue!

President Obama claims that the rich in America are not paying their fair share of taxes? The facts dispute this allegation! 10 percent of the top wage earners in the United States pay 70 percent of all income tax! 50 percent of all Americans pay no income tax! So where is the fair share? It looks to me like us 50 percent are the free riders or the real bums! What did Jesus say all about this? In the Gospel of Mark Chapter 12, Verse 17 Jesus said, “Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s and render unto God what is God’s” The problem is Caesar needs to go on a diet! That is why many of us in America are going to try Romney as our new Caesar! For those of you who do not tithe your income to your local church you are putting God on a diet! The problem here is you cannot vote God out of office! But God has the power to decide what to do with you! James Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

Colorado Catholic Buisness Owners defeat ObamaCare but punished by Denver City Council?

Denver City Council stops good citizen award to this Denver Buisness who has served Denver over 50 years! Siding with Obama instead of doing the right thing contradicts all that America stands for? When you punish the righteous to reward the wicked our existence is threatened! Please read Isaiah Chapter 5, Verse 20. Thankyou. James Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

Book of John Chapter One Verse One !

In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The word beginning in the greek translates as Commencement! When we finish a degree and complete all the work we graduate and have a commencement service. God completed his work at creation and time began! The word, “Word” in the greek is Logos which means Divine Expression! What was God’s Divine expression? Verse 14 of Chapter one says, ” And the Word was made flesh and dwelt amoung us……..” The divine expression could include creation itself but it is more than that! The divine expression is Christ himself! Let us substitute Christ for Word in verse one. In the beginning Jesus was the word and Jesus was with God and Jesus was God. Remember Jesus last words on the cross! It is finished! Man’s work is never done but God’s work is finished forever! Thankyou. James Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

Christian American Foundations

Who Was the Most Christian American President? If all you ever knew about this was what you were taught in a public(government) school in the United States you would not have a clue! You might think Lincoln or Washington but the most out spoken president about his Faith in God was Theodore Roosevelt! He was running for president in 1912 which is exactly 100 years from this year. He walked softly and carried a big stick! He was a rough rider horse calvary kind of guy. His favorite Bible verse was Micah 6:8. What doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God. Roosevelt was of the Dutch Reformed Church. He participated in missions work with his father, a noted philanthropist. He taught Sunday School classes during his four years at Harvard. He wrote for Christian publications. He called his bare-the-soul speech announcing his principles when running in 1912, “A Confession of Faith.” Later he closed perhaps the most important speech of his life, the clarion-call acceptance of the Progressive Party nomination that year, with the words, “We stand at Armageddon and we battle for the Lord!” He titled one of his books, Foes of Our Own Household(after Matthew 10:36) and another, Fear God and Take Your Own Part. He once wrote an article for The Ladies Home Journal, Nine Reasons Why Men Should Go to Church.” After Theodoore left the White House, he was offered University Presidencies but refused all and chose to become a Contributing Editor of The Outlook, a relatively small Christian weekly magazine. He lectured at many Christian Theology School across America. Source: Mondayministry.com/blog2012/02/19/who-was-the-most-christian-president
