The Christmas Scrooge? Matthew 6:13

Do not let the Pope ruin your Christmas! The Greek word for temptation means to test with experience. I wish the translators would have used the word testing instead of temptation! We do not fall into temptation or testing as though it were an accident? We are led into temptation determined by who you follow! The Spirit lead Jesus to be tempted of Satan! (Matthew 4:1-11). If God leads us into testing it is not to abandon us or destroy us but to give us victory through experience over Satan! God will test us to prove to us He can be trusted! When Satan tests us it is for the purpose to destroy us! The key is to know which tester is testing us? Remember God will not test us with evil. (James 1:13-14) If something that is evil comes to your mind you know the author of it! Do not listen to Satan but rebuke him in Jesus name! Cast him out of your mind! Has God surely said you cannot eat of this tree? You will not die! Jesus turn these stones into bread! Jump from the Temple Mount the angels will catch you! I will give you all the Kingdoms of this world if you will bow down and worship me! Mary you are going to have a baby boy and yet know no man? Elizabeth you are going to have a son in your old age! Abraham you are going to have a son in your old age? Ha Ha Ha! His name will be Isaac meaning laughter! All these saints passed the test! No one likes tests! When you are tested and close your eyes in death who will you trust to take you to Heaven? The Pope forgot the most important part of verse 13. But deliver us from evil. Evil exists because we do not trust God! The testing to do evil is from Satan! The testing from God is to deliver us from evil. Christmas is all about a way is provided by God to deliver us from evil into righteousness! There will never be a greater gift than this! Merry Christmas! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

Will a Snake Bite Twice? Isaiah 26:10

Verse 10; Let favor with mercy and kindness be shown to the wicked who are haters of God and men yet they will not learn righteousness but act wickedly and will not behold with learning and understanding the Majesty of God.” Comment: To the righteous everything is righteous and to the wicked everything is wicked! This describes two very different state of minds! The righteous can accept and do righteousness but the wicked cannot! The three wise men shared the good news about the King of the Jews being born but Herod could not accept it! Why? The wicked mind cannot receive anything good! Herod felt threatened that his power and authority would be taken away so he tried to kill the child! So innocent babies were thrust thru with the sword in Bethlehem! Abortion thru executive order! This explains why salvation will not be accepted by everyone! Even God’s motives are questioned! This is what happens when you make yourself God! The rejection of God can be as simple as saying Happy Holiday instead of Merry Christmas! It can be as serious as President Obama ordering the IRS to audit Christian conservatives tax records! Today we have a Christian and Jewish friendly President Trump! The anger focused on Him has to do with his Christian Faith and the support of Christian values! The battle between good and evil rages on through every generation! Which team are you on? Our job and commission is to take the Good News into every culture and every nation understanding not all will accept God’s Mercy! You plant the seeds and let God sort this out! Remember Paul? Remember the thief on the Cross? Then Lord remember me! At one time opposed to Christ and all that He is! Now today a crusader for Christ living with no other purpose but to spread the Good News and the favor of God to men! Remember in the Book of Genesis God declared the seed of the woman would crush the Head of the Serpent! The seed of the woman was born in Bethlehem! Merry Christmas! James and Hamsa Sasse. Herod’s Letter to Caesar (John the Baptist)

To Tiberius Caesar and the Roman Senate; “My Noble Lords, Greetings: The facts in the case are about as follows: John the Baptist had set up a new mode of religion altogether different from the Jewish religion, teaching baptism instead of circumcision, which had been the belief and the custom of the Jews in all ages past. According to their theory, God appeared to Abraham hundreds of years before, and told him with his own lips how and what to do to be saved; and the Jews have lived according to this until it had become their nature, and all their forefathers had lived in this way. David, Solomon, Isaac, Jacob, and all the Holy prophets had gone to heaven in this way of God’s own appointment. Now, the question came to them, as they suggested it to me: Has God found that He is wrong? Has His wisdom failed Him? Or has the unchanged changed, and He is wavering in His purpose? Such would be the natural conclusion of a sensible man under the circumstances. Now, John the Baptist had no authority from God for what he was doing, as Abraham had. All he could say was, “He that sent me to baptize is true.” And he cannot tell who he was. Then his going into the wilderness; God had ordered Solomon to build the finest temple that was ever built in the world, and made promises that whosoever came to that house with his offerings his prayers should be heard and answered. This temple had been the place of their meeting for hundreds of years, for the Jews think this temple is the next place in heaven. Now see the difference; First John has no authorized authority. Second he changes God’s place of worship. Third he changes the doctrines. Fourth he changes the mode of application. Now, the idea of Gamaliel was that John wanted to be some great man; hence, he took this mode of eccentric life to establish it. And there is nothing better qualified than the course he took to make an impression upon the ignorant and unlearned–to go away out in the wilderness by himself, get a few friends from Jerusalem to go out and hear him, and come back and tell the great wonders which they had seen in the wilderness. Then John’s appearance–his long, uncombed hair and beard, his fantastic clothing, and his food, nothing but bugs and beans–such a course and such a character are well qualified to lead the illiterate astray. These troubles on the Jewish mind were very heavy, and gave such men as Hilderium, Shammai, Hillel and others great concern. And no wonder, for in their judgment it was vacating the temple of religious worship; it was blocking the road to heaven, and driving the poor and unsuspecting to ruin, as well as destroying the whole nation. So it was, by their request, as so ordered, that it was better to execute one to save the many for a worse fate. And this is the true reason for the deed, and not to please the whim of a dancing girl, as you have heard. Now, my lords, if this is not satisfactory, I would ask my accuser, Caius, to write any of the learned Jews, and learn if my statement is not correct. Herod Antipas

What did Bethlehem do for you? Isaiah 25:7-9

Verse 7. And I will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people and the vail that is spread over the nations. Verse 8. He will swallow up death in victory and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces, and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth for the Lord hath spoken. Verse 9. And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us; this is the Lord, we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation. Comment: The Hebrew word used here in verse 9 for salvation means a deliverance from outside of yourself! It comes from outside of your circumstances! It has nothing to do with your efforts! Jehovah the God of our Salvation! Salvation is associated with the forgiveness of sin! A deliverance from Satan (fallen angel), and his power! Merry Christmas! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

Touched by an Angel? 2 Peter 2:4

What do we know about angels? From our Bible we know that there are 3 basic groups of angels. Gabriel (messenger angels), Michael (war angels), Lucifer (praise angel), who became Satan! We know that angels are created beings just like humans! We know we are not to worship angels. We know we were created just a little lower than the angels. We know Lucifer was the disobedient angel that rebelled against God and 1/3 of these angels were cast out of Heaven down to earth! We know angels can dwell in flesh. We know Christ was not a created being but was pre-existent and always was is and forever will be! What has all this to do with Christmas? A lot! Everything! Did you ever notice 1/3 of the earth’s population is Christian! One third of the disobedient angels were cast down out of Heaven to earth! Yet 1/3 of the earth’s population has been redeemed! We know that Satan can never be redeemed! However Satan dwelling in flesh or humans is his effort to destroy them! Remember Jesus has authority over demons and cast them out of people! At the mention of His name demons tremble! Jesus God’s Son incarnated into the earth was God’s plan to defeat Satan! Those that reject Christ continue to live under the control of Satan! The Christmas story is a lot bigger than tinsel, gifts and food! It is all about the defeat of the fallen angel in your life and the deliverance of your soul from the same plight that awaits Satan! The small baby in Bethlehem is God’s plan to deliver us from evil. Merry Christmas! Praise God and Christ for our praise replaces the praise in Heaven lost by Lucifer’s removal from Heaven! Signs in the Heavens! Matthew 24:29-31

Contrary to what is commonly believed, the magi did not arrive at the manger on the night of Christ’s birth; rather, they found the young Jesus and His parents living in a house (Matthew 2:11). This could have been nearly two years after Christ’s birth, since Herod–afraid of his own position as King was threatened–tried to have Jesus eliminated by killing all male children under the age of two (Matthew 2:16). It may be that the star first appeared over Bethlehem when the magi were in the East (Persia). From that distance, they would have not been able to distinguish the exact location but would have certainly have known to head west. They went to Israel’s capital city Jerusalem, a likely place to begin their search for the King of the Jews. It seems that the star may have disappeared by the time the magi reached Jerusalem but then reappeared when they began their (much shorter) journey from Jerusalem to Bethlehem, approximately 6 miles away. This view is supported by the fact that first, the magi had asked King Herod where the King of the Jews was born, which means the star wasn’t guiding them at that time (Matthew 2:2). And second, they rejoiced exceedingly when they saw the star (again) as they began their journey to Bethlehem (Matthew 2:10). After the magi had met Herod, the star went on before them to Bethlehem and stood over the location of Jesus. It seems to have led them to the very house that Jesus was in–not just the city. The magi already knew that Christ was in Bethlehem. This they had learned from Herod, who had learned it from the priests and scribes (Matthew 2:4-5,8). For a normal star, it would be impossible to determine which house is directly beneath it. The star over Christ may have been relatively near the surface of the earth so that the magi could discern the precise location of Christ. Whatever the exact mechanism, the fact that the star led the magi to Christ is evidence that the star was uniquely designed, made by God for a very special purpose. God can use extraordinary means for extraordinary purposes. Certainly the birth of our Lord was deserving of honor in the Heavens. It is fitting that God used a celestial object to announce the birth of Christ since “the heavens declare glory of God”___(Psalms 19:1). Source: Answers in Genesis. Comment: In verse 29 of Matthew was Jesus talking about the 7 year tribulation? Here are some signs listed in the Heavens at His second coming! The rapture has probably already happened before this event and these are the redeemed people that came to Christ during the tribulation period! The sun is darkened and the moon shall lose it’s light and the stars shall fall from Heaven! When the unbelievers shall see Him they shall mourn! The believers shall rejoice! Two different responses with two different outcomes! Then Christ shall gather the elect from the ends of the Heavens! Help us to shine His light into the earth before the opportunity for Salvation closes for men! Merry Christmas! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

Incarnation in You! John 3:5-8

Here is the definition of the word “Incarnation”, from the Merrian-Webster Dictionary: “The embodiment of a Deity or Spirit in some earthly form; the union of divinity with humanity in Jesus Christ.” Comment: Jesus told Nicodemus he must be born again! After you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior your sin is forgiven then you have a born again experience with God! Now His Spirit rules you rather than the flesh! The Holy Spirit becomes incarnated in you! You then follow Him as He leads you into righteousness! Those that reject Christ receive another Spirit that controls them and leads them away from God! Satan rules their life to destroy them! Jesus came to save us! No one can ignore or escape the incarnation! What Spirit incarnates you has everything to do with what you do with Jesus Christ! Life or death? Judas Iscariot would be one example of what happens when you reject Jesus Christ! The other disciples are good examples of the power that dwelled in them from the Holy Spirit to reach the lost world and transform lives! Merry Christmas! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

Is Jesus Still Incarnated?

Absolutely! As we approach Christmas let us remember Jesus Christ born of a virgin, crucified for our sin, raised from the dead and now seated at the right hand of His Father in Heaven is still in His incarnated estate and always will be! When He returns to earth at His second coming in His incarnated estate He will be God and man! If Jesus were to lose His divinity or humanity we would all die in our sin! As God He fulfills all righteousness and as human He delivers us from our unrighteousness and sin! The Angels in Heaven are still celebrating His virgin birth as we are on earth! Our birthdays have or will fade into human history as Jesus said we must be born again! That birthday will be celebrated forever! We have a birthday because Jesus had a birthday to be celebrated for all of eternity! Merry Christmas! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

Thanksgiving 1925

“As we have grown and prospered in material things, so also should we prosper in moral and spiritual things, we are a God fearing people who should set ourselves against evil and strive for righteousness in living, and observing the Golden Rule (Matthew 7:12), we should from our abundance help and serve those less fortunately placed, we should in gratitude to God for His many favors.” President Calvin Coolidge

The Rich Hate Him! The Poor Love Him!

Has anything changed in 2000 years? Here is a comment in Pontius Pilate’s letter to Tiberius Caesar’s describing the Crucifixion of Jesus that happened under his provincial authority: “The rich Jews hated Him and curse him behind his back and call him an Egyptian necromancer! The poor people love him and claim him as their King and deliverer from Roman authority!” Comment: In America today it is the rich atheistic Jews in Hollywood, Media, commerce and Political positions who are trying to stomp Jesus name out of American culture! However not the orthodox Jews as they support conservative values! The same spiritual battle carries on in 21st Century America as it did in 1st Century Palestine! The poor love him and the rich hate him? Why? The rich trust in their wealth and the poor trust in their Savior! I saw the same thing in India the 3 years we lived there! However there are some rich people who do not love money but Christ as Joseph of Armithea did! We find some Pastor’s who compromise the Gospel for money and book sales! Do we need another Book beside the Bible? I think not! If the millions of dollars spent on books about Jesus would be spent on missions I think the world would be better evangelized and faster! However I would rather see this money spent on books about Jesus that spent on stuff we do not need! The important point here to know your Bible otherwise a book about Jesus could deceive you unless you know the Bible! If you spend all your time readingĀ  books about the Bible and not the Bible you are ripe for deception! The discernment you need only comes from the Word of God! James and Hamsa Sasse.
