God (Theos) Strongs #2316. This word was taken from Greek culture. Remember the Greek culture were nature worshippers! Idol worshippers! They worshipped creation! The gods of the sun, moon and stars! Their divine worship also included other deities! Much like the Aztecs and Hindu’s do! At Mecca the Muslim’s had 360 Idol’s! One for each day! They took what they thought was their best idol and named him Allah! The Greek word used here for “God”, is singular and masculine! That is correct God has a gender! The word Theos means the true God as opposed to false gods! False gods are man made gods! The famous Greek poet and musician Orpheus called the ancient Greek gods demons! How do you become a demon? It is a choice! Like Lucifer (The Fallen Angel), if you make yourself god and reject the true God you have as a created being worship yourself a created being and you become a demon! Atheism is self worship! You make yourself God by declaring there is no God! Charles Darwin was an atheist and based Evolution on the belief there is no God! The angels (Lucifer, Michael and Gabriel), are created beings so we must not worship them! Lucifer who became Satan in his rebellion was cast out of heaven! Elohim is a Hebrew word for God. It is also singular and masculine! It translates the God of gods! The God of Israel! God is set apart from creation though actively involved in creation! He is the cause for everything and the Trinity pre-existed creation and always was, is and forever will be! So in the Trinity do we have three gods? No! God Plant’s Word’s First! Isaiah 51:16
Hebrew Translation: “I have put my words the Ten Commandments into the border of your mouth, and have concealed thee in the shadow of my hand with power and strength, that I may plant the heavens and lay the foundation of the earth, and say unto Israel, unto Jerusalem, thou art my people.” Comment: God has planted his words into the mouth of the Jews even before creation! Remember John 1:1? In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. God’s Word established the world! It is the first cause of everything! Notice God has concealed the Jews from their enemies! He has given them power and strength over their enemies! They are the head and not the tail. When God’s Word lives in your heart, soul and mind then we become his people! God gives us a new heart! His heart! Jesus said we must be born again! A new creation where sin no longer controls us! Signs in the Heavens! Matthew 24:29-31
Contrary to what is commonly believed, the magi did not arrive at the manger on the night of Christ’s birth; rather, they found the young Jesus and His parents living in a house (Matthew 2:11). This could have been nearly two years after Christ’s birth, since Herod–afraid of his own position as King was threatened–tried to have Jesus eliminated by killing all male children under the age of two (Matthew 2:16). It may be that the star first appeared over Bethlehem when the magi were in the East (Persia). From that distance, they would have not been able to distinguish the exact location but would have certainly have known to head west. They went to Israel’s capital city Jerusalem, a likely place to begin their search for the King of the Jews. It seems that the star may have disappeared by the time the magi reached Jerusalem but then reappeared when they began their (much shorter) journey from Jerusalem to Bethlehem, approximately 6 miles away. This view is supported by the fact that first, the magi had asked King Herod where the King of the Jews was born, which means the star wasn’t guiding them at that time (Matthew 2:2). And second, they rejoiced exceedingly when they saw the star (again) as they began their journey to Bethlehem (Matthew 2:10). After the magi had met Herod, the star went on before them to Bethlehem and stood over the location of Jesus. It seems to have led them to the very house that Jesus was in–not just the city. The magi already knew that Christ was in Bethlehem. This they had learned from Herod, who had learned it from the priests and scribes (Matthew 2:4-5,8). For a normal star, it would be impossible to determine which house is directly beneath it. The star over Christ may have been relatively near the surface of the earth so that the magi could discern the precise location of Christ. Whatever the exact mechanism, the fact that the star led the magi to Christ is evidence that the star was uniquely designed, made by God for a very special purpose. God can use extraordinary means for extraordinary purposes. Certainly the birth of our Lord was deserving of honor in the Heavens. It is fitting that God used a celestial object to announce the birth of Christ since “the heavens declare glory of God”___(Psalms 19:1). Source: Answers in Genesis. Comment: In verse 29 of Matthew was Jesus talking about the 7 year tribulation? Here are some signs listed in the Heavens at His second coming! The rapture has probably already happened before this event and these are the redeemed people that came to Christ during the tribulation period! The sun is darkened and the moon shall lose it’s light and the stars shall fall from Heaven! When the unbelievers shall see Him they shall mourn! The believers shall rejoice! Two different responses with two different outcomes! Then Christ shall gather the elect from the ends of the Heavens! Eclipse & Hurricanes! Isaiah 5: 26, 30
Verse 26; “And he will lift up and ensign or a hurt, strike, defeat or conqueror to the gentile nations from afar, and hiss at them from the end of the earth; and behold they shall come with speed swiftly.” Verse 30: “And in this day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea, and if one looks unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the Heavens.” Comment: So what is this judgment all about? A nation rejecting God and His Christ! So if God would not spare the Jews who are we? What troubles me most about recent events in America is I see no call for National repentance especially from the pulpits of America? People here including spiritual leaders are viewing these events as a natural occurrence outside of God? Even as the Jews were marching towards Babylon they still did not connect their captivity with their actions? It took 70 years for them to repent and return back to Israel from captivity! Blood Moon and Signs!
Scriptures: Joel 2:31, Matthew 24:29, Luke 21:25 and Revelation 6:12-13. A Blood Moon is a total lunar eclipse. The lunar tetrad is where four lunar eclipses happen six months apart. For example they have happened on April 15, 2014, October 8, 2014, April 4, 2015 and September 28, 2015. The two April eclipses have coincided with important Jewish Festivals. They occurred on Passover! The October and September eclipses occurred during the Festival of Tabernacles. Eight of the tetrads since the 1st century have coincided on Jewish Holidays! The word sign means to reveal the character and the truth of any person or thing. It is a mark or token. It is a memorial, monument or proof. Simply the signs in the sun, moon and stars is a reminder and confirmation of Jesus promises to us! It is a confirmation that His return is on schedule! His promises to us are revealed in the Heavens and on the earth! Whether the star over Bethlehem or the earth growing dark over Calvary His signs are everywhere! Created? Genesis 1:1
What does the word created mean? If we go back to the Hebrew root word we discover some interesting things! The word means to cut down, select, dispatch and to choose. Wait a minute I thought God was building something when he creates? Yes, however to build an ark you have to cut down a tree. To build a Cross you have to cut down another tree. David used this same word in the Psalm when he asked God to create in me a clean heart! Cut away or cut down the evil within me! Inherent within this word is the meaning to choose. God had to choose to create! Someone or something had to die to bring us gain! The tree for the fire to bring heat! A tree had to die to bring life through judgment! The Tree of Life in the midst of the Garden to us through His death! Christ was not created but pre-existed with the Father and the Holy Spirit. So the Trinity has always existed outside of creation! Yet God chose to enter creation through His Son Jesus Christ to redeem us! God had to cut down Himself so we could comprehend Him through observation of the heavens and the earth! With an observation of ourselves and our world we all recognize we need redemption! Through creation God is exalted above the Heavens! If someone gives you a lemon just cut it down and make lemon juice! Back in the 1960’s my wife Hamsa did baby sitting for a Jewish family while she was in college. Morty told Hamsa that I was fired from my previous job because I was Jewish! So I started my own meat company and now we are millionaires! The world is going to try to cut you down but do not retaliate just let God build you up in His Image! If God had to cut Himself down to build you up why do you not do the same for others? Thankyou.
