“And he shall speak great words against the Most High or Supreme God, and shall wear out the saints Christians of the Most High, and think to change times and immutable laws: and they shall be given into his hand of power until a time and times and the dividing of time or the half of time.” Commentary: The Anti-Christ shall speak against all institutions whether Divine or human authority! He will speak and act in lawlessness and in unbelief! The little horn or the beast will be successful for a time and then will be destroyed! By wars, massacres and inquisitions Satan will persecute the followers of Jesus! The times and times and the dividing of time is talking about the 3 1/2 years of the 7 year tribulation period culminated with the second coming of Christ back to earth with the saints in heaven! It almost seems like all these signs are with us right now! The changing of laws! Homosexual marriage, promotion of transgenderism even to our children mandating laws opposed to the laws of God! Rebellion of all authority! There thus so far this year in America 101 police officers shot in the line of duty! Our cities becoming combat zones! No sovereignty over our borders being invaded by millions of illegal immigrants! Mandating by fiat blocking our natural resources such as gas and oil for the benefit of our people! Millions of Christians are suffering in Ukraine driven from their homes by war! Suffering by death and destruction by a wicked ruler in Russia! Speaking against the God of heaven and creator of all by our teachers in public institutions! Public authorities threatening more lock downs and freedoms of choice removed! Tearing down voting laws to win elections by corruption! Our public leaders not following the law! Leaders taking bribes from other countries who are enemies to America to change laws to benefit themselves! Signs Of His Second Coming!
Many false Christ’s! Wars and rumors of wars! Famines! Plagues! Earthquakes! Beginning of sorrows! Persecution of Christians! Betrayal of family! False prophets deceiving many! Violence grows! Love waxes cold! Why Lord? These signs listed in Matthew 24 by Jesus show us the signs of the return of Christ back to earth to rescue his followers, take charge of the earth to rule and reign over it for a thousand years and to punish the wicked who have rejected him with judgment and condemnation to an eternal hell! I want us to look at Matthew 24:13-14. I have taken the original translation in the Greek and translated it back into the English. “Jesus said, But he that shall endure suffering with a load of miseries staying behind with patience towards your persecutors unto the end or the completion of your goal and conclusion you shall be saved through your spiritual and eternal salvation granted immediately by God through your belief in Christ and the Gospel the good news of salvation through Christ and the preaching of the Kingdom of God out of your moral and personal necessity to the entire world and where you are living for a witness unto all nations: and then shall the end or completion of your mission on earth shall come.” Commentary: So how do I know I am saved? More Signs End Times! II Timothy 3:3
“[Without natural affection], [truce-breakers], [false accusers], [incontinent], fierce, [despisers of those that are good].” Commentary: There are many more signs listed in Chapter three but we will cover the five words or phrases listed in this verse taken from the Greek language. Biblical principles are absorbed in small dosages best! Even if you eat an elephant it is just one bite at a time! That is why we study and read our Bible everyday! We pray everyday! We attend church at least once a week! We already covered “without natural affection” in an earlier post. Meaning no family love! Divorce, gay marriage, homosexuality, lesbianism, transgenderism, racism, gender neutrality are all attacks on the family! The next words “truce-breakers” describes the spirit in a person that rejects any terms of reconciliation! He is at war with God and man and is irreconcilable! He refuses to give up his enmity! He cannot forgive! He rejects God’s Salvation! Refuses to be reconciled to the Father through his Son for his sin! The next words “false accuser’ is where we get our English word devil! Satan is the accuser of the brethren! Satan told Eve in the Garden of Eden that God is a liar! Some today still believe the lie! The next word is “incontinent”. It means without self control! Tom Brady advised his team mates who have never been to a Super Bowl before that you must control your emotions! Otherwise we will get penalties that will defeat us! If self control ruled people there would be no crime! God tempers our emotions with control! The last words in this scripture is “despisers of those that are good”. This describes people who will sacrifice people even their own family for personal gain! They will sacrifice their nation for personal gain! Bribes by politicians from foreign governments! Godly people sacrifice themselves for other people! For their nation! God’s Kingdom is a sacrificial Kingdom! He sacrificed his Son for our sin! Signs Last Days! II Timothy 3:1
“This also know, that the [last] days perilous [times] shall [come].” Commentary: So what does “last” mean? Strong’s Number 2078. It means the time when the development of God’s plan for Salvation shall come to a close! The time of the decisive and final judgment of God upon men! The expression of the low moral character of men at the last days! This time just before Jesus second coming back to earth. The second advent! How about the word [times]? Strong’s # 2540. There is really no equivalent word for this in English! It means a season of prophetic events that take place for Jesus second coming! The word “come’ means instant and at once! So all the signs in chapter three will appear together! Nothing will be left out! Over two thousand years we have had some of these signs appear but not collectively! These collective signs usher in Christ at his second coming back to earth! To do what? Judge men! He came the first time for the Salvation of men but his second coming to judge those that have rejected him! He took our judgment on the Cross for those that have accepted his sacrifice for our sin! To reject him is an unpardonable sin because he is the only one who can pardon us! Reject the judge and get judged! Only a fool would take his own judgment for sin! There is no remedy! Signs & Plagues!
Luke 21:25-27 “There shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars, and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring: Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then they shall see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” Comment: Jesus disciples asked him in Matthew Chapter 24 what will be the signs of your coming again and the end of the world? Jesus gave them some troubling signs but he also gave them some encouraging signs! Jesus said the Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all the nations and then the end shall come! The end means judgment for Satan and his followers and redemption for the saved in Christ! This explains the resistance to the Gospel! Satan does not want his evil Kingdom to end! This is why Doctor Ben Carson was sued because he had a Bible study going on! Today in America if you open your Bible in the wrong place lawyers will flock around you like a vulture on a corpse! Jesus left some more encouraging words in verse 28 of Luke Chapter 21. Jesus said, “When you begin to see these things come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads: for your redemption draweth nigh.” As the world can only see the trouble we look up to the heavens where our help comes from! Two opposite perspectives! Two opposite Kingdoms! Two opposite outcomes! Two opposite ways of living! One by faith and one by self works! Who do you look to during this Coronavirus! Government? Politicians? How about God? The word Corona means crown! Is Christ wearing your crown or is death? Man’s promise to you if you pay is an undertaker and a burial plot! God has promised you at death to raise you from the dead! And God himself paid the price! Then Jesus has prepared a place for you in heaven! Is that a deal or what? A memorial park got caught in this Coronavirus because over years they had been selling more burial plots than they actually had! Yes time share burial plots! Maybe they can double stack them? Do you want to trust men or God? The choice is still yours to make! God asked the Jews before judgment and captivity how much longer will you be of two opinions? Heaven or Hell! Plagues & Signs!
Matthew 24:7 “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines, and pestilences (plagues), and earthquakes in diverse places.” Revelation 18:4 “And he heard another voice from heaven saying, come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.” Commentary: Plagues and the signs of Christ’s second coming are all around us! When you add together the prophetic pieces of the puzzle from the Old and New Testaments you see the big picture! We are commanded to separate ourselves from the sins of the world! From homosexuality, transgenderism, lesbianism, abortion, socialism and open borders, lawlessness, evolution, divorce, idol worshipers, sex change promotions for children and the hell these sins created within our culture! Did you ever notice that those who reject creation for evolution create sins! Christ is the only cure for our sin! However if you listen to the pulpits across America you would never think these acts were sins? They are never called out from our scriptures? Did God shut the church down for a good reason? You must identify yourself with Christ right now! No time to wait for another plague! Hand out Gospel Tracts! Most of the store clerks wear rubber gloves now! Get your Christmas Tree up! I placed the red color on our doorposts of our home with lipstick representing the sacrificial blood of Christ! People will laugh but when the plagues come death will Passover your house! Take communion at home! The homosexual city of Sodom had one righteous man living there by the name of Lot! He was spared but the city was destroyed by fire! Moses was instructed to put the sacrificial blood on the doorposts of every Jewish house! The plague passed over the Jews but not the Egyptians! No television ministry can save you! If they are doing their job they will call out our sins as a nation and request we repent! I hear none of this? No Pastor can save you! Only Jesus! If a Pastor is doing his job he will point you to Jesus to repent of your sins! Your identity is key to salvation! Identity with Christ! Some will mock but when the plague comes they will perish! Read and study your Bible daily! Either you or your Bible will collect dust! Pray in the name of Christ for your family! Help others in need generously! Show the love of God to those in need! Pestilences & Signs!
Matthew 24:7 Commentary: Jesus disciples asked him what will be the signs of your second coming? What will be the signs of the end of the world? Jesus gave us the signs in Chapter twenty four of Matthew! One of those signs was pestilences in diverse places! The word pestilence in both the Hebrew and the Greek means plagues and diseases. When you put all of these signs together in Chapter 24 the end times becomes very clear! It is very near! The Lord told Daniel in Daniel 12:4, to seal up the Book for the times of the end when people would run to and fro and knowledge would increase! We had the Black Plague in the 1350’s spread from Asia into Europe. In 2009 we had the H1N1 Swine flu. Daniel when he talked about running to and fro was talking about air travel! These plagues can be spread very rapidly today! The economic impact is already taking effect on the economies of the world! Even though your Bible was written thousands of years ago it is like reading front page news! Jesus prophetic words along with Daniel and many other prophets are true! They will or already have come to pass! Men still try to build their Tower of Babel today! The prophecy of the persecution of Christians and Jews is all in Matthew 24! Why? Satan knows his time is short here on earth! He will ramp up his persecution of humanity for his time will end for his attempted destruction of man! The author of these calamities is Satan not God! Satan’s whole purpose from the Garden of Eden forward was to do the crime and then blame it on God! Jesus second coming is to redeem the world from destruction executed by Satan! Until Satan is defeated this chaos will continue in the earth! Satan was defeated on the Cross! Greater is Christ in you than he (Satan), who is in the world! God has given us dietary laws to protect us from disease! In Leviticus it says do not eat birds of prey such as bats! Do not eat pork, shrimp, fish without scales, ect. But even some Christians do not take the Bible seriously! The Word of God protects you! It saves you and heals you from all your diseases! Call on the name of Jesus to deliver you from your sin! Your disease all authored by Satan! The deception of Satan is to try to get you to doubt God and his Word and chose your own ways! His ways are higher than our ways! Jesus is the way, the truth and the life! Jesus has promised to raise us from the dead! Believers unto eternal life and unbelievers unto eternal judgment! Signs! Luke 21:25
Greek Translation: “And there shall be signs or miracles with an ethical purpose in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity having no way out; the sea and the waves roaring.” Comment: So what is the ethical purpose of these signs? The return or second coming of Jesus Christ back to the earth! So really bad weather is a good sign! So what is the sign in the sun? Global warming! All the planets are heating up not just the earth! Sun spot activity increasing! So when the sea heats up more moisture goes into the air and we get more rain and floods on the land! But what does the rain do? It cools down the earth! God has this figured out my friend! The roaring of the seas puts more moisture in the air! Floods can destroy crops and bring famines! Another sign! It is so funny watching the evolutionary atheists propose the Green New Deal! Are they going to build a lamp shade and cover the sun? Take away our fossil fuel and we will all become cavemen and women again! They actually as fools believe they can stop these signs of Christ’s return? Another Tower of Babel! Instead of acknowledging God they in their puny human efforts try to stop him! Our sin is against God not the planet! Earthquakes! The earth is crying out for redemption! The Bible calls all these signs birth pains! They will increase in intensity with much pain until the Messiah returns and life is born again into the earth! The signs are preparing us for Christ’s soon return! This Good News is prophetic! The unbeliever’s in the earth panic while we in Christ understand what is going on! They panic because they know Judgment is on the way for them! They have rejected the one who took their judgment on the Cross! Jesus said persecution will come to you if you are a follower of Christ! Many places in the world Christian martyrdom is common! However in America the assault is growing on Christian’s! Here are the steps that lead to persecution in any culture! What was once celebrated is now condemned! Some examples? Crosses, traditional marriage between a man and a woman! Bibles! Ten Commandments! American Flag! Patriotism! Legal immigration! Borders! Nationalism! Military service! Sodomy laws! Sunday worship! Free speech! Right to bare arms! Prayer in schools! Free press! Visual displays of Christ! Verbal expressions of Christ in the public places! Litigation and fines against those that support traditional values! Social media blocking of Christian content on Facebook, Google and other media forms! So if you condemn what the Bible has expressed as evil then you will not celebrate the condemned then you will be condemned by the culture politically, socially and judiciously! Volcano’s! Acts 2:19
Greek Translation: “And I will show wonders or strange appearances in Heaven with different qualities of the same miracles in higher places in Heaven above, and signs or miracles with a moral purpose in the earth beneath with time and age; blood, fire and vapor of smoke.” Comment: Volcano’s have been in the news lately! The Bible speaks about them in both the Old and New Testament! Volcano’s can be used for good or bad! The Hawaiian Islands were built by volcano’s and so was Iceland! Other islands and land masses were formed by volcano’s on the earth! Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by a volcano! Remember Pompeii and several other cities in Italy were destroyed by a Volcano in 79 A.D.? The city was in idol worship with all the Roman, Greek and Egyptian gods! They worshiped ISIS the Egyptian goddess! Ice is formed with volcano’s on the moons of Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune! Volcanic winters have caused catastrophic famines on the earth! Noah and his family were saved by the flood yet the rest of the earth was drowned by the same water! Here is an important point to get out of this Bible verse! God will use signs and wonders or miracles to render a moral purpose in the earth! The same water that rescued the Jews and Moses through the Red Sea was the same water that drowned the Egyptians! Judgment or Salvation can come through the same elements of the earth and Heaven! The same blood of Jesus Christ will save some and condemn others!You can either receive God’s love with Mercy or you can reject His love with Judgment! The choice is yours to make!
