Sheep without a Shepherd!

Zechariah 10:2 “For your idols domestic and household gods have spoken falsehood and wickedness, and the diviners and false prophets of foreign nations have selected a divide, and have told false empty disappointing dreams; they repent and grieve in vain: Therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd.” Comment: Does this describe America today? No shepherd? Lost sheep? If a sheep has no shepherd they fall prey to the wolves! The prey on our young people! Told lies by our educators! Told lies by our politicians! Told lies by our social media! Millions of babies have been sacrificed by abortion on the altar of child sacrifice! Seventy three thousand of our youth have died with drug overdose in 2017! Since 1999 over six hundred thousand youth have died from drug overdose! This is greater numbers than any war we have fought in American history! To make matters worse now states legalizing drugs which will increase these numbers! Drugs and criminals invading our nation through open borders! Policies made in Washington to destroy our youth! Law enforcement under attack everyday! Prayer evicted from our schools! Atheistic ideologies such as evolution taught our children in public education! The Ten Commandments removed from our institutions! Crosses taken down across our land! Is it any wonder our children have no hope? Their most precious hope Christ has been removed out of their lives! Mocked and scourged in front of them everyday! No nation has survived in history without the Good Shepherd! There is no civilization without Christ! The political correct; “Happy Holidays”, is meaningless without Christ! Any purpose outside of Christ will fail you one day! Your job, career and family are wonderful but they cannot save you! They will one day fail you! Our purpose in Christ will continue forever! Everything else will fail you! If you built your own Kingdom it will fail! If you build His Kingdom you will prevail! I was talking to a rich man yesterday. He told me he was just tired of Christmas! He wished it would get over? Without Christ nothing will replace his love and mercy because there is only one Christ! One Savior! One God! One Nation! One King! One Sacrifice! One Blood! One Atonement! One Lord! One Baby! Do You Love Me? John 21:15-17

Greek translation: “Peter do you love me unselfishly to the point of sacrificing yourself for me more than these fish? Peter do you understand God’s love towards men even though they are His enemy? Yes Lord, I know I am your friend. Then shepherd, guard and protect my sheep. Then Jesus says a second time to Peter, “Do you love me to the point of sacrificing yourself to me and my work here on earth? Peter replied you know I am your friend. Jesus replied a third time, Peter are you my friend? Peter was grieved for Jesus asked him a third time and Peter replied, “Lord you know all things and you know I am your friend.” Jesus said to him then shepherd, protect and guard my sheep.” Comment: Two very different Greek words are used for the English word love in these passages of scripture! They are agape and phileo! Initially Peter did not understand God’s love Like most of us when we first come to Christ initially He becomes our friend! Peter probably thought since he betrayed Jesus just before the Cross three times Jesus needed to ask him about his commitment three times? Actually in Jewish Hebrew culture when something is said three times it is complete and not necessary to repeat anymore! Peter though because of his past he could be no more than just a friend! Could God forgive me? Peter answered this question later in his life as he was the leader of the Jerusalem church! Then later he was crucified upside down on a cross in Rome! Jesus was more than a friend to those 21 Coptic Christian men who were beheaded by ISIS last year! Peter finally understood God’s love for him! I have been a Christian for 45 years yet still with each new revelation I understand more of his love for me! Will we totally understand His love for us? After our resurrection from the dead we will learn more! During the millennium we will understand more of His love! We understand enough to feed His sheep here on the earth! Christmas for Dummies! Luke 2:11

The shepherds got the hell scared out of them when the angel appeared to them in the middle of the night on a lonely hillside while tending their sheep! When the Holy smoke cleared out of their campsite from the lightening bolts they bowed their faces to the ground expecting to be incinerated! The sheep headed for the hills. The laser light show was on full display! All bowel constipation disorders were miraculously healed! The angel told them to chill out! You cool cats need to cool down! Relax! Good news guys! This is not the end of the world! Their hopes were somewhat dashed! I want you guys to hit the trail back to Bethlehem! There is a new guy just born in Bethlehem! His first name is Jesus and his last name is Christ! I have heard you use his name sometimes when you talk to your sheep! This is the real deal dudes! You sheep dogs are highly favored this night! None of the smart people in your neighborhood know about this! He is born to you this night as your SAVIOR! He will save you from yourselves! He is your SAVIOR at his birth, at the Cross, at the resurrection, at his ascension and when he comes back to earth the second time! He will be your SAVIOR forever! He will send you the Holy Ghost! You boys look puzzled? You got too many wooly balls in your heads! Now get packing for Bethlehem and see your new born King! Hey guys! Merry Christmas!

Looking Forward! Matthew 25:31-34

When the Son of man shall come in His Image and Character with Splendor And Brilliance with His Holy Angles then He shall sit upon the Throne of His Glory! And before Him shall be gathered all the races of mankind and He shall cast out the wicked and abominable as the Spiritual Leader of the flock. He will divide the sheep from the goats! He shall set the Sheep on the right hand giving them equal honor as to Himself! He will set the goats on His left hand! Then shall the King of the people say unto them on His right hand, Come, my Father shall dwell upon you and you will be heir of the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world! Comment: So where is His Throne of Glory located on earth with His return? Jerusalem! The same place where He was Crucified! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

The Word Made Flesh! John 1:14

We can all understand the word flesh as we share this as mortals! However, do we understand the word, “Word?” I went back to the Old testament where there are 9 Hebrew root words and to the New Testament where there are 6 Greek words. So when you combine this package of words this is what you get when God was incarnated in the flesh! God’s decree’s, purposes, promises, provision, conditions, utterances, pouring out, assurances, rational, logic, and faculty are released into the earth! One of the most interesting words I found in the Old Testament that means, “A pasture from the arrangement of it’s flock, fold or manner.” God’s sheep are out of order and He came to arrange them in order to protect them from danger! The lonely shepherd’s on the hill near Bethlehem were the real sheep God was interested in! You and I are sheep He came for as we have a bad habit of getting lost! Merry Christmas! True or False? Matthew 7:15-23

False Prophets! Not all that shines is gold! Jesus warning His disciples. Wolves attack just to kill while other beasts kill only for food. Assassins! Dressed in sheep clothing. They look like you, dress like you, have a good church language but are suicide bombers wearing a Christian costume. Intentional people who purposely mislead us to hurt. Evil at the core. Verse 16- By their fruit you will recognize them. Good or Bad! True or False! Pay attention to the right thing. Walk and be not deceived. Good fruit is moral fruit. Bad fruit is immoral or evil fruit. Verses 21-23. Final Judgment! I prophesied in your name? I cast out demons in your name? I did miracles in your name? Jesus said but I never knew you! Worst thing you could ever hear! Warning! Big crowds always follow those who perform prophecy, cast out demons and perform miracles. They may be genuine or total deceivers? Work for the right fruit. Do they sell products and then sprinkle Jesus on top of their sales pitch? How does fruit come? Fruit takes time to produce. Galatians 5:22- Fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace———-. Is our motivation on self or Christ? Look for sound doctrine! Is your household built on sand or rock? 2Timothy 4:3-4. People want a doctrine that fits their desires. Our desire and God’s desire is different. Make me happy God! The 21st century church theology is called; Moralistic Therapeutic Deism. It says that God is here to make me happy! Use Jesus to get what you want. No sound doctrine. A lot of money made under this false doctrine. Money made in the God business. Why? It sells! Itching ears. We want to hear this! Pleases the flesh. Marketing 101- Find out what the people want and tell them how to get it. Politicians today- They follow the culture rather than lead it! Flow with the stream down the drain. Sound doctrine- Iron sharpens iron. Follow Jesus. Believe Him. False Prophets will appear to go along with the Gospel but yet will say Jesus did not die and raise from the dead. The Death and Resurrection of Christ is foundational to our Faith! The Nicene Creed has been foundational to our Faith for over 1600 years. The early church father’s wrestled these heresies to the ground for us. You have to be able to discern truth to avoid the destruction of the false!
