Who Are They? Revelation 2:6

Who are the Nicolaitians? The word in the Greek means the conqueror of the people! Specifically in the Church of God! They are only referred to twice in the Book of Revelation. Both the church at Ephesus and the Church at Pergamos had the same problem! (Verse 2:15). The Nicolaitians were Bishops and prelates of the church gaining a triumphal victory over the laity! This is the very sin that brought forth the Reformation! It is mostly responsible for all our denominational and non-denominational churches around the world! The Nicolaitians compelled and forced church members to submit to the arbitrary dominion of men who have become the ones which the eternal hates! The Apostle Peter warned us that those who are leaders among God’s people must not dominate the faith of others but rather exhort them to do right! (1 Peter 5:1-3). The Nicolaitians are people in the church who have established a hierarchy of power and dominion under a government of ecclesiastical rulers! Comment: Yes! God hates these folks! Correction is very different from condemnation! We take the word disciple from the word discipline. Jesus used the techniques of correction and commendation very effectively! We as parents either tend to over correct and under commend or over commend and under correct! Everything I do cannot be right and everything I do cannot be wrong! That is why I need a Savior! My experience in ministry over the past 45 years has shown me people do not like to submit to authority! This is the nature of Satan! Most people will submit to authority if commended and corrected in love! However some will never! Hell is reserved for these folks! Why will some never submit? Because they want to replace God! This explains why the world is a war! War on God! Jesus asked the churches at Ephesus and Pergamos to repent! Sunday our Pastor Oscar Cope made an important point to us in his sermon! No More Excuses! Revelation 1:7

“Behold, he cometh with clouds, and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him, and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so. Amen” Comment: The word “wail”, in the Greek is the strongest form of the outward expression of inner grief! It means to beat one’s own body! At Jesus second coming why would the world grieve at his coming? Just as those who rejected him at his first coming so will some at his second coming! Now the man made plans of men supported by Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Atheism, every other religious excuse will come to an end! The false religions will be exposed by the Truth! Every political system that opposes Christ such as Socialism, Fascists, Communism, Darwinism, Nazism and every other Anti-Christ ideology will come to an end! No more hiding behind religious and political systems to promote your sin! Halloween is over and the masks are removed! Sin can no longer be worshiped! Now every knee will bow and every tongue must confess Jesus Christ is Lord! They now stand naked before God! They are striped naked before God! No more coverings! No more hiding! Remember at this time the Church has been raptured! The Saints are following Christ back to earth from heaven at his second coming! For the 1000 year reign of Christ on earth! The only one’s left on earth are those that have rejected Christ! The party is over! Judgment has come! Judgment starts in the House of God yet Christ has taken our judgment upon himself at the Cross! Do you want to try to take your own judgment? Yet many try? You will never be good enough and you have become the fool! Time is short and this life is very short but eternity forever! Are you greater than God? “For the execution of the voyage to the Indies, I did not use intelligence, mathematics or maps!” Christopher Columbus Comment: Columbus used a scripture out of his Catholic Bible! The scripture is Esdras 6:42 You can read this scripture for yourself. It says God divided the land into six parts at Creation! Columbus convinced the King and Queen of Spain that according to God’s word we have a continent missing on our maps! If I sail west I should stumble on to this continent! The Catholics got a one hundred year head start on the Evangelism of South, Central and North America over the protestants! What navigation system are you using for your life? No Ghost’s but the Holy One! John 20:21-23

After Jesus Resurrection Mary Magdalene finally recognized Jesus at the tomb! But Jesus warned Mary not to touch Him for He had not ascended to His Father and your Father! A few verses later we see why Jesus said this! Jesus found His other disciples hiding out in fear from the Jews! Jesus instructed His disciples that they must go out into the world the same way my Father has sent me! Jesus told them they must receive the Holy Ghost! Must receive the Holy Spirit! Jesus breathed on them and His breath transmitted the Holy Ghost into them! Then Jesus told them as they went out into the world to preach the Gospel that whoever accepts my atonement for their sin will be released from their sin but whoever rejects me will retain their sin with judgment! The Way of the Cross! Isaiah 35:8

Hebrew Translation: “And a highway shall be there and a way of life with the behavior of men, and it shall be called, cried out and preached to a name. The way of life is holiness, set apart sacred and dedicated; the unclean, polluted and defiled shall not pass or cross over it; but it shall be for those; the wayfaring wondering to and fro men, though fools, shall not stagger or go astray therein.” Comment: This is a fascinating scripture! The unclean, polluted and defiled shall not pass over to it yet there shall be a way for the wayfaring, stumbling running to and fro fools! So the bums, fools and staggering wanderers will not go astray but find cleanliness and redemption! So who cleans them up? The lost people who recognize they need a savior and cannot save themselves but trust in their God for Salvation cross over into eternal life! The other group who trust in themselves, their title and position in life through human achievements and their own efforts will not cross over into eternal life! The Road Most Traveled!

The reason socialism will fail every time is because governments run out of other people’s money to fund the failure! Margaret Thatcher (1925-2013) Comment: She tried to warn Europe not to go down this path but today they are there! England wants to leave the EU because it carries socialist countries that will cause it to collapse! America with now nearly 19 Trillion in debt is headed down the road most traveled too! Obama threatened our ally England of trade sanctions if they leave the EU? Obama loves our enemies and hates our allies! The bad players Russia, Iran, North Korea and ISSIS all got a promotion when he came into office! We cannot get rid of him soon enough! Also remember that the collapse of America and the socialist nations will lead to the one world government prophesized in the Bible! The anti-Christ a one world political leader and his false prophet or world religious leader! He will most likely be a Muslim! Snake Bit Pastor Dies!

First of all our condolences to the Jamie Coots family! I believe he is in Heaven but I also believe he has misinterpreted scripture! It is an easy thing to do. Our prayers are for his son Cody that he not follow this same path. It is not easy to tell any son his father is wrong! Let me explain why I think he was wrong. Luke 10:19. A snake is a physical manifestation of the spirit of Satan! Jesus gives us power over Satan. This power is not proven by picking up snakes but is demonstrated by victory over sin! When Jesus was tempted or tested by Satan in Luke 4:12 and Matthew 4:7, He said you shall not test the Lord thy God! In Deuteronomy 6:16 it says, “You shall not test or tempt the Lord thy God as you tested Him in Massah.” In Isaiah 7:12 it says, “But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt or test the Lord.” In Matthew 6:13 Jesus said in the Lord’s prayer, “Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.” The word temptation (Strongs 3986), from the Greek means ; put to the test. In Psalm 26:2 David is praying to God and the word try here means to purify me as gold in the fire. In Psalm 139:23 David is asking God to test him. The word test as used in Malachi 3:10 (Strongs 974) (Bachan), refers to God testing humanity. The point here is we do not test God! When we sin we test God! God will test us and Satan will test us! The victory comes when we are tested and Trust God at His Word! Ed Cole used to say, “Any truth carried to an extreme becomes an untruth!” I can test God if I do something foolish and expect God to rescue me! Let me give you some examples. Lord I want to go to hell so in your name I can cast out demons and get all these people to Heaven! You could not do it but I can! I know a man in Macon Georgia who went into the night clubs to save people. He is a drunk today! Lord let me go and lay with this prostitute so I can save her! Tempting God? Yes! Thankyou.
