Ezekiel 3:18 “When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die and thou givest him not warning, nor speaketh to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at thine hand.” Commentary: To know the truth will set you free! To know the truth and deny it to others is cruel! It is selfish! It contradicts you knowing the truth! Jesus said to go out into all the world and preach the Gospel! Are you ashamed of Jesus? He in the last day will be ashamed of you! My world is where I am right now! Not someday I will? When I get rich? When I retire? When my kids are well off? When my grandkids get established? When the culture no longer hates Jesus? When my parents approve? When the Republicans are in charge? When Caesar stops persecuting me? When I am ready? More education? When I complete college? After the war? After the pandemic? After Christmas? After Easter? When the time is right? I do not want to offend my neighbor? My friends? This is the day the Lord has made! Let us rejoice and be glad! You are only given today and tomorrow? If you do not share today your opportunity is lost! One day we will run out of todays! Do you want their blood on your hands? Only the blood of Jesus can cure their sin! Why would anyone want to hide the truth? Only Satan! You oppose Satan when you tell the truth! Jesus said I am the truth! The way! The life! Evangelism & Christmas!
Luke 1:17 “And he (John the Baptist) shall go before him (Christ) in the spirit or breath of God and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers with their thoughts, reasonings, understanding, fear, love, joy and designs to the children, and the stubborn unbelieving disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” Comment: The Christmas story is about Evangelism! John went ahead of Christ to prepare the people to receive Christ as Savior! This is also our job in the 21st Century! Sunday school teachers are preparing the way of the Lord! Pastors, teachers, evangelists, prophets are preparing the way for you! Not just a way but the way! When we do our job well then decisions for Christ are made! It is team work! Everyone has to do their part! A song writer or singer is preparing the way! I as a young man I was not saved yet being in the Body of Christ preparing the way for me! If God would turn the hearts of the fathers to the children we would not have abortions today! There would be no divorce! Every family would have a father in the home! Every family would be in church on Sunday morning! However there are those who reject the way! The truth! Reject Christ! King Herod tried to have Jesus aborted at Bethlehem and failed yet he had John the Baptist beheaded! There will always be signs in our culture that some have rejected the way! Happy Holidays! Take those Crosses down! No nativity scenes allowed here! We will take you to court! We are like John preparing the way for others just as others have prepared the way for us! We need to be more persuasive to influence people to receive the way than those who try to influence others to reject the way! God can equip us to do this! Birth Abortion Evangelism Revelation 12:1-5
A great wonder in Heaven! A woman has a special mission clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet! The moon or Islam is under her feet! On her head twelve stars representing the twelve apostles and the twelve Tribes of Israel! Verse three is interesting because the word “crowns” used here in the Greek does not mean a King’s crown but a conquerors crown! Then we see Satan conquering and controlling nations in history. Remember Satan offered Jesus all the Kingdoms of this world if he would bow down and worship him! Then we see Lucifer the fallen angel who became Satan rebelling against God in Heaven with one third of the angels who were cast out of Heaven to the earth! War started in Heaven and continues today here on the earth! Then we see Satan’s attempt to perform an abortion on Jesus at birth. King Herod ordered the slaughter of the babies in Bethlehem! The word “rule” used in verse five means to shepherd a flock not to rule as a tyrant dictator but to lead people into paths of righteousness! Jesus would lead all ethnic groups of people! The rod of iron is Rome! The feet of clay! The early Roman Empire crucified Christ, the Apostles and their followers! Blessed is he possessing the character of God expressed as a believer in Christ who is well spoken of and is fully satisfied regardless of the circumstances. God’s Kingdom is in your heart. These blessings come when you read and hear the word of this prophecy. The prophecy of telling God’s word where His grace and empowerment are to be exercised in the church. You are to keep those things which are written therein: For the time or season of opportunity is given for these events to take place. Comment: The word Blessed used here could not be better expressed than in the life of the Apostle John! Regardless of circumstances! A lot of 21st Century preaching today says you are blessed only if your circumstances of money, wealth and health reflect it! John was boiled in a pot of oil! When that did not kill him the Roman Emperor had John exiled to a slave labor camp on the remote Greek island of Patmos working in a stone quarry! The 21st Century Christian would have trouble understanding his blessings? Lord if you just help me win the lottery I will serve you! The word Blessed has nothing to do with your external circumstances but everything to do with your internal condition! Your soul. It is all about Christ living and dwelling in you! His presence comes through reading his word and hearing his word and then speaking His word to others! Evangelism! The word time used in this scripture passage is not the word chronology and does not mean a succession of time! The Greek word for time, used here, Strongs #2540, means a season of opportunity for events to take place. You might call it grace! Evangelism on Steriods! Isaiah 61:1
Hebrew Translation: “The Divine Breath of God is upon me: because the Divine Nature of God has consecrated me into the office of Evangelism to preach a military victory over Satan to the meek: he has sent me to cover and bandage up, rule and govern the broken hearted, to preach, celebrate and invite calling you by name to the captives subdivided by religion, race, culture, gender, ideology and lies: and the opening of the prison to them that are imprisoned by them.”

Hebrew Translation: ” Then you shall see a flowing together, and your heart shall with it’s internal feelings and being shall tremble and quake with reverent worship and will grow; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the force of the might, strength and wealth of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.” Comment: I have shared some of the excerpts out of the Journal and diary of Christopher Columbus in earlier postings. Columbus approached the King and Queen of Spain using a Apocrypha scripture that the Catholics accepted and the Protestants rejected to justify his wanting to sail west on the sea rather than the traditional east! He showed the King and Queen that according to his Bible God divided the land into six parts at creation but according to then maps of the world there was a missing continent! Columbus believed if he sailed west he would find this new continent! It is believed Columbus was a Jew! In his personal diary he declared he was going to discover a new land and this new nation would support Israel. The rest is history! This is why, the King of the East (China), and Magog (Russia), allied with the King of the South (Persia Iran) are confederated together to take down America! This is why the Quran declares it is the Muslim’s duty to kill Christian’s and Jews! This is why the political left in America opposes Christian’s and Jews and the Sate of Israel. This is why they favor Islam and their support of Iran with the Obama Administration giving billions of American dollars to them! This battle will go on but you need to be sure you are on the right side of history! They will not succeed because God will perform his covenant with Israel and the Gentile Christian Nations! Blasphemy! John 5:22
Jesus words: “For the Father judges no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son.” Comment: The word judgment means to divide or separate based upon the law to either condemn or aquit. Redemptive judgment is not based on breaking the law for we have all sinned but on God’s acceptance and forgiveness through his only Son Jesus Christ! God has committed all judgment to his only Son because his son paid the price for our sin on the Cross! In Chapter 5 of John we see the Jews wanted to kill Jesus because he broke the Sabbath healing a man on the Sabbath! Also Jesus told the religious leaders that all judgment was rendered unto him by his Father! The Jewish leaders were inflamed because they saw Jesus elevated to the position of God! We have previously discussed the one unpardonable sin which is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit! Jesus is part of the Trinity! Jesus is the only part of the Trinity that can save you! Blasphemy is rejecting Jesus Christ as your Savior! If you reject the only one that can save you judgment to Hell follows! Jesus is judge of the living and the dead! Jesus did not die for himself! He was without sin! God died for you! Salvation is so important to God that Jesus commanded us to go out into the whole world and preach the Gospel! The good news! If Evangelism was top priority for Jesus what should it be for us? Believer’s highest calling and top priority should be Evangelism above everything else! If in the end of our lives here on earth our future is dependent on what we did with Jesus Christ and our Heaven or Hell depends on Jesus judgment of us then what is more important than reaching people for Christ! I have done some gambling early in my life but why do people gamble with their eternity? This life on earth is very short but eternity is forever!
