Voting Consequences!
So how will the world go? So how will America go? It will go one of three ways! It will either go secular, Christian or Islamic! America and the west have succeeded in pushing back Islam for the past 200 years because we were stronger spiritually, politically and militarily! Islam has been weaker than the west so their gains were small. However if the balance changes then they take new territory! So what happens next? This is a tricky call. It is possible the radical secularists may partner with the radical Islamist against Christians! We may not be fighting one opponent but two! The religious battlefield in America is also the political battlefield! We know the religious outcome as believers in Christ as outlined in our Bible. However the same cannot be said about America! The great providential leaders of America such as Lincoln and Reagan saw America with a Divine mission sanctioned by God just as Israel did! Dreams!
I shared with you earlier an article about dreams. I want to continue with you about visions and dreams. Visions and dreams are promised to God’s children! God imparts these into His own for encouragement! My people perish for a lack of knowledge! The natural man dreams and you might call them nightmares! The dreams of the natural man look back! The dreams of the spiritual man will always look forward! The Bible is a forward looking book! The Bible is a living book! Satan will always try to get you to look back because he hates his future! Satan will always try to remind you of your past to enslave you in sin today! The Bible says Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever! That is why I can quote you a scripture out of the old testament written thousands of years ago or a theologian who lived a thousand years ago and it applies today and tomorrow! Looking forward for the believer leads to joy! Pharaoh had a dream but only troubled him until Joseph came along! Satan will try to convince you do not have a future! If you believe him then you have no future just like him! During World War II Stalin had a military and political advisor named Nakita Khrushchev. After Russia had lost 2 million men in battle with Hitler Stalin told Nakita that like his other General’s that failed him it was time for you to commit suicide so you could be a good example to the living if they fail me! Nakita told Stalin that this war was not your fault or my fault and even though it looks hopeless we will prevail and win this war! God always has us looking forward! Our youth in America have no hope because of betrayal by their leaders! The Bible has been removed from their lives through public education, popular culture and a host of other venues! PTSD Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
All of our returning veterans can suffer from this disease! Why does it only manifest itself when our veterans return and not in the combat theater? When they return the threat is gone! Bonnie Gray has some interesting insights into this problem! Combat veterans are trained to survive using their weaponry. When they return home the threat is still in their minds from training, combat experience and long periods of exposure to battle field conditions! So the first thing they do when they get home is buy a weapon for security from the threat! They are depending on their own works to protect themselves! We as Christians also must not depend on our own works! Yes, Faith without works is dead but works alone will result in dead works! We need to allow for whitespace which is simply spending quality time with God in prayer, Bible study and church attendance! God Blesses our work if we rely upon Him and commit the work to Him and through Him! Grace is God doing for you what you cannot do for yourself! Suggest you buy her book! History Endorses The Bible! Genesis 16:11-12
God told Hagar one of the wives of Abraham that her son Ishmael would be a wild man with his hand against every man and every man’s hand against him! The Book of Genesis was written about 1450 BC by Moses during the wilderness wandering after leaving Egypt. Abraham lived about 420 years before Moses. Islam did not come along until about 650 AD. So this prophecy about Ishmael and the Arabs was given about 2100 years before Islam came along. This family feud between the Jews and the Arabs has gone on for thousands of years. All Islam did for the Arabs was legitimize their hatred towards Christians and Jews. There is no political solution for this problem and no military solution. This is a spiritual battle that wages on through the flesh! There can only be a spiritual solution for a spiritual problem! God reconciled Himself to man through His Son Jesus Christ. When we reject the Blood of Christ as the atonement then man’s blood will flow! Christ came to make us spiritual brothers and this peace is the only lasting peace man will ever know and experience! It’s Only Make Believe! John 3:16
Conway Twitty co-composed a song back in 1958 that went to the top of the charts as the number one song and held this rank for two years! The theme of the song was that he wished and prayed that this girl would love him as he loved her but finally realized that her love for him was only make believe! No matter how much he loved her she did not care about him. If you are human or even divine you have experienced this in your life. You wanted to believe in someone or something only to find a betrayal by that person or system. After all your love and affection was extracted from you an emptiness entered your soul. Human relationships are fragile at best! However there is a love greater than any human love! God’s motive for loving you is that He is simply love! Yes and He loved you so much that He became flesh! If you accept His love then you will find His love deeper than any ocean! In our spiritual relationship you can love the one that hates you through default! If you stay in the default mode you express your affection to the one who wants to destroy you! You can make believe about any man made system of religion but only to find in the end you are deceived and forsaken!
