Cry unto Repentance! Isaiah 58:1

Hebrew Translation: “Cry, preach, roar, proclaim, summon to the judgment seat, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show by bringing to the front, bring to the light, confess and profess openly my people, the nation of servants of your Master your National moral rebellious revolt of sin against the living God and show the House of Jacob their sins.” Comment: Sounds like a good old fashion altar call! To be transparent with God is to confess your sin! Sometimes I hear a request to make Jesus Lord and Savior but what is missing sometimes is a valid reason for doing so? Muslim’s do not believe they are sinners! So why repent? Who needs a Savior? Atheists do not believe they need a savior! Whatever your message as a Pastor at the end and hopefully laced throughout your message it must be made clear that transparency before God requires a confession of your sin! Both the Old and New Testaments have the same theme! Repent! Repent of our sin! Pride in the church can separate us from God! I would suggest more frequent Communion services for your congregations! Socialism!

Our program necessarily includes the propaganda of atheism! Vladimir Lenin   Comment: Marx, Engels and Lenin were followers of Charles Darwin and Evolution! They believed that evolution would inevitably improve men over time to a state of perfection! Their neighbor Hitler also believed the same thing! Hitler believed he could speed up the process by getting rid of the undesirables on planet earth through war! These two cultures believing the same Darwin theory clashed in WWII. There is no historical evidence to support Darwinism but evidence proves just the opposite! The Bible denies evolution and that man is a sinner in need of repentance to God! After teaching our children in public schools for nearly 100 years that Evolution is a real science is it any wonder socialism has a large political following? The teaching of Evolution in our public schools is the left wing of the Democratic Party! Lenin also said if you tell a lie long enough it will become the truth! Apostate Pope? Daniel 11:37

A news agency (Fox News), reported today that Pope Francis told a gay man that God loved him and that God made him gay? We all were made in the image of God but we cannot make God in our image! That is called idol worship! I have no problem with the Pope telling him that God loves him! Jesus the Son of God went through a bloody six hour crucifixion on a Cross for our sin! Jesus did not go to the Cross for us to retain our sin! In the old days people would say the devil made me do it! But today some say God made me do it! Blame it on God? If you read your Bible you will see that God did not make us sinners! We chose sin! Morality is about choices! God gave us a free will to chose right or wrong! Satan deceived the human family into choosing sin! God have us the remedy at the Cross! We cannot blame God for our sin? Put the blame where it belongs! On Satan! Why did Jesus tell us to rebuke Satan in His name? We are still responsible for sin but God has made a way of escape through the blood of His only Son Jesus Christ! We must repent of sin not blame it on God! Sometimes organized religion gets it wrong! That is why we must know the Bible cover to cover! In these last days you will be lead astray if you do not know the Word of God! If the Bible contradicts any religious leader then go with the Bible! Does not matter the cost to you! Jesus paid it all. Remember what Satan told Eve in the Garden of Eden? Surely God has not said you cannot eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil? You will not die! The lie’s continue today! Sodom and Gomorrah believed the lie that their homosexual behavior was not sin! God warned them many times! Believe the truth and the truth will set you free! Cheap Grace?

Cheap grace is the grace we bestow on ourselves! Cheap grace is the preaching of forgiveness without requiring repentance, baptism without church discipline, communion without confession…cheap grace is without discipleship, grace without the Cross, grace without Jesus Christ, living and incarnate! Covetousness? Jeremiah 6:13

So what does covetousness mean? It is a word in the Bible and it is something i do not want to do! I always thought it is just wanting someone else’s stuff? However according to the Hebrew definition it is much more than that! It is to gain through violence! It is dishonest gain or plunder! Like aborting babies and selling their body parts! Just before Israel went into captivity to Babylon this was the state of the people! This cancer affected the least to the greatest of people! Jeremiah went on to say it affected the Priests and Prophets also! They dealt falsely! Falsely means anything done with deceitfulness! To even do a right thing in appearance but with evil intentions! It simply means to lie with wicked intentions! So the whole Jewish culture was absorbed with covetousness! Were the Babylonian saints? They were even worse! God has a way to punish the wicked by sending someone to rule you that is even worse! History is full of Nations who have gone down this path! God will always have His voice through His Prophets to warn the people! I would remind America to listen to her Prophets as judgment will otherwise come! Donald Trump will help direct America back towards God and the Clergy must respond to take the mute button off their messages of repentance and proclaim God’s Word across America so that Liberty will once again Rule America! Hope for the Hopeless!

Sermon On The Mount Series New Life Church

Matthew Chapter 5; The sermon on the mount is the most taught and least followed of all Jesus teachings! Jesus brings a new imagination ( image ) and a new people out of this sermon. Israel has a history of getting things wrong! They moved from holiness, sin, rebellion, repentance and back to holiness. The difficulty today is the church is just like Israel. Often we cannot tell the difference between the church and the world. Leviticus 18:1-4; God found us in Egypt! God did not want the Jews to be like Egypt or like Canaan. There are traps both in prosperity and bondage. Do not follow the practices of the world. The world is sinking sand. Build on the rock (Christ). The Jews wanted Samuel to give them a king. Why? Other nations had kings. We want to be like the world. God and samuel were greived. So they got Saul, David and a bunch of really bad kings out of forty. Ezekiel 20:6-8; It is possible not to lust, control your temper and live peaceably. Here is a summation of the sermon on the mount, “An invitation from Jesus to be like him and be set apart.” We are a covenant people serving a covenant God. As a mother feeds her baby through the umbilical cord so we are the branches attached to the vine. Moses could not follow the law! The sermon on the mount is not another set of rules. Jesus in you teaches you and enpowers you. John 15:5-6; Apart from me you can do nothing. Bare much fruit! Philippians 2:12; Work out your salvation with fear and trembling. God works in you! No individualism here but community. The disciples left the crowd but after Jesus changed their lives they went back to minister to the crowds! We are in covenant with God and the community. If we try by ourselves we will fail. Live with Jesus and others. No isolation from community in the covenant. The table of covenant is community. Together we servs the community. We serve each other and we serve Christ as He serves us! The Trinity of the covenant is serving community, each other and Christ! Can You Lose Your Salvation? Hebrews Chapter 6, Verses 1-6.

Chapter 6, verses 1-6 are probably the most controversial verses in the Bible! You need to micro-view these verses and then macro-view them in light of all scriptures! Remember the Bible always interprets itself. For those who say you can loose your salvation my question to them would be when are you going to lose yours? If your salvation is based on works then sooner or later all will be lost. The difficulty of these verses is removed by recognizing when the actual decision to follow Christ becomes true salvation. A person is saved at the point of genuine acceptance of God’s Gift of “Light”, and then he or she is received by God. God ultimately judges every heart and knows who is truly repentant. The decision for salvation is made ineffective when it is based on emotions and one’s own abilities. Christ died once for man’s sin. If this was insufficient there would be no security for believers. In verses 4-6, Paul is using hypollated illustration to make a point. In philosophical language, this form of reasoning called reductive ad absurdum ( a reduction to an absurdity ). From a false assumption comes absurd conclusions. It would be false to assume a believer could fall, because his repentance, based on Christ’s death would be invalidated.
