Abortion & Liberty?

Lindsey Graham Senator from South Carolina made a very important point to Judge Kavanaugh during the confirmation hearings! He asked the Judge if the word abortion can be found anywhere in our Constitution? He replied no! Lindsey then asked Judge Kavanaugh what word in our Constitution qualifies you in regard to any case before the court to render a decision? To even hear the case? The Judge said the word liberty! Senator Graham asked the Judge if he can pull any subject out of thin air and call it liberty? Comment: About 50 percent of the population of America disagree with abortion and gay marriage! Why? Because our moral code our Bible says it is a sin against God and man! Did the framers of our Constitution define liberty as the legalization of evil? Can we take a wrong and legalize it as a liberty? What standard do we use for liberty! Man’s propensity to sin cannot be used as the gold standard for morality and liberty! The Supreme Court has reversed decisions decided by earlier courts! Precedence can only be used if the first decision was right! Basic Wisdom Course 101

Psalm 90:12  Hebrew Translation “Teach us to distinguish between right and wrong. As our creator help us to understand your knowledge of us. To know you is to understand ourselves. Reveal yourself to us so you might help us to be familiar with and understand you. We number our days because life is short and eternity is forever. Help us not to miss you! Life is a short journey to find you and a long journey if we miss you! We understand that our hearts are the moral seat of evil. Help us to find our right place in you. Help us to have your heart. Help us in your wisdom to have insight and judgment. Help us to understand that true wisdom is only found in you and that our wisdom can never be independent of you. Only through your wisdom can we find real meaning in life.”

Time Shall Be No More! Psalm 90:1

Lord God, thou has been our dwelling place in all generations. Comment: Moses wrote this Psalm and is the oldest Psalm in our Bible! What was Moses saying? Generations represent the revolution of time! Time reveals everything! It includes the revelation of God to men! It also reveals the character of man and the character of God! Time is linear and measurable! Time is the result of creation! Time does not measure creation it is creation! Time is your best friend or worst enemy depending on what you do with it! It allows you to find the living God or allows you to reject the living God! Time proves God’s faithfulness and man’s folly! Time is the opportunity presented to you for redemption! Time marches on as generations come and go! Every generation has to make a choice about God! Reverence him or reject him! After time passes for us the opportunity for accepting redemption passes! Then our choices are locked in forever! God wants to forgive you of your wrong choices but that requires repentance on your part! Humility rather than pride! Time opens the door and closes the door! Time presented the incarnation of God into flesh through his Son Jesus Christ into the earth! Time allowed his crucifixion on the Cross for our sin! Time will present his second coming into the earth! Time will reveal you redemption or judgment! Time is the best friend of the believer and the worst enemy of the unrepentant! Time allows us to receive God’s love and demonstrate God’s love to others! Water saved Noah and his family but destroyed the rest of the world! If you choose God the elements of the earth created by God will save you! If you reject the Savior the elements will destroy you! Which side of history will you choose? Your way or his way? Life or death? Sin or redemption? Living in Hell is not an option worth considering! Time shall be no more is declared in Revelation 10:6! This is the echo of Moses in Psalm 90! Theology of Political Left?

Their first premise is there is no God! So if there is no God then there is no Devil and it is up to us to make things right! We will do God’s job which means doing the work of Satan! According to the left there are oppressors and the oppressed! Wealthy people are the oppressors and poor people are only poor because they are oppressed by the wealthy! Is it possible the poor are lazy and do not want to work for a living so they steal, rob and kill for a living? Sell drugs with 73000 casualties last year! Lazy and living off welfare and the money in taxes the working people pay! Today according to the left criminals are the oppressed victims! Law enforcement is our enemy and get rid of ICE! Illegals are the oppressed by the oppressors ICE! National borders are oppressive because they keep out the oppressed of the world! Criminal illegals must be protected by sanctuary cities from the oppressors! Law enforcement! Our National Flag is oppressive so disrespect it during our National Anthem! Never mind the NFL football players are paid millions of dollars income from American team owners? They too must be oppressors! My grandfather told me one time when I was young and giving him trouble that I should not bite the hand that feeds me! Colonialism is oppressive! When the Pilgrims landed here in 1602 they were thankful to God that the American Indians helped them through the hard cold New England winters! What they found though was the Indian tribes were waring against each other? Let us look at the Spanish American war! The Southwest part of America was then controlled by the Spanish! So the white colonist were the oppressors by taking it from the Spanish? Who did the Spanish take it from? The American Indian! The Spanish found the territory in an upheaval because the southwest Indian tribes were waring against each other! So socialists would have saved us from all this? Socialism has even a worse history! In socialism if you are successful you must be the oppressor! This idea lead to the Russian Revolution with tens of millions of dead! If you are unsuccessful you must be the oppressed! If you are in poverty we have to look and find the oppressor! The left hates the rich even though some are rich and uses the poor as a political pawn to gain political power! The poor got poorer under Obama! At one time Israel was supported by the left after the holocaust! Now today they are successful as a nation so now they are considered the oppressors and the poor Palestinians must be the oppressed people? President Trump is the new oppressor! However American’s are seeing through the scams of the left! As their incomes grow and unemployment lessens they see the lies of the socialists exposed! Obama is going on another apology tour of America! To try to help the socialist win in the November election! If you are an eligible American to vote remember the lessons of the past and remember Christ can make America great again and we all need a Savior! His name is Jesus Christ! After Socialism What?

The goal of socialism is communism! Vladimir Lenin Comment: Socialism has failed in every nation that has tried it! Venezuela and her people are the latest victims! The people are crossing borders and fleeing to other countries! A mass exodus! I like this Winston Churchill quote: ” The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings, the inherent virtues of socialism is the equal sharing of misery!” Yet the ignorant left with Bernie Sanders and his followers on the left are promoting a failed system with a history of more losses than the lottery players across America put together! Bernie and his new bride 50 years ago went to Moscow for their honeymoon! Why did they not stay there? If you love socialism move to Cuba! Move to the Soviet Union! Move to Greece! Move to the EU! Cry unto Repentance! Isaiah 58:1

Hebrew Translation: “Cry, preach, roar, proclaim, summon to the judgment seat, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show by bringing to the front, bring to the light, confess and profess openly my people, the nation of servants of your Master your National moral rebellious revolt of sin against the living God and show the House of Jacob their sins.” Comment: Sounds like a good old fashion altar call! To be transparent with God is to confess your sin! Sometimes I hear a request to make Jesus Lord and Savior but what is missing sometimes is a valid reason for doing so? Muslim’s do not believe they are sinners! So why repent? Who needs a Savior? Atheists do not believe they need a savior! Whatever your message as a Pastor at the end and hopefully laced throughout your message it must be made clear that transparency before God requires a confession of your sin! Both the Old and New Testaments have the same theme! Repent! Repent of our sin! Pride in the church can separate us from God! I would suggest more frequent Communion services for your congregations!
