Tato and Silver are both gone now left alone to fight the Coronavirus! The one man act has come to town! Now the life of the party now is the loner! Take advantage of your new life and read, study, pray and do the things you always wanted to do but could not because of social interference! My neighbor has washed his car everyday over last 3 days! Vacuum your rug until the fibers come out! Paint the walls of your home that you no longer have an excuse to give your wife! My other neighbor has cut his lawn twice in the past two days! I have to wash my van because no excuses now! Do your income tax now and if getting refund send in now or if you owe send in on July deadline! Spend some quality time with family at home! Invest time in your family! Help a neighbor if required! Smile and laugh again! Take down your “The World is Coming to an End” sign out of your front yard! Remove your “apocalypse now” bumper sticker off your car! Act sane even if you feel crazy! Turn off the 24 hour news cycle for at least two days! The “911” operator is not a psychiatrist! Do not sleep with your pistol under your pillow! Count to ten before you pull the trigger! It could be your dog! Act calm even if your family knows better! Do not pretend to worry! Protect your family from each other by social distancing! Call your mortgage company and ask them how many days do I have after making my last payment? After finding out your life insurance policy is no good in case of a pandemic cancel them before they cancel you! Take life one day at a time! Jesus said the cares of today are sufficient! At the time of this writing Churchill was a Officer in the British Army fighting in the Sudan of Africa. This is a quote from his book, “The River of War”. Journalist Comment: Was Malcolm right? He passed on in 1990 so he was just before most of the internet and all the social media platforms of today! When a culture moves away from Christ one of the strongest indicators is lack of church attendance! I wish I could draw this graph for you but I will just have to give you the numbers. These statistics are from the Pew Research Center 2018/2019: Silent Generation Born 1928-1945. Christian 84% Non Christian Faiths 4% Unaffiliated 10% Baby Boomers 1946-1964 Christian 76% Non Christian Faith 6% Unaffiliated 17% Generation X 1965-1980 Christian 67% Non Christian Faith 6% Unaffiliated 25% Millennials 1981-1996 Christian 49% Non Christian Faith 9% Unaffiliated 40% Church Attendance meeting weekly or more; Silent Generation 50% Baby Boomers 35% Generation X 32% Millennials 22% How about Generation Z? They were born between Mid-1990’s the early 2000’s. The presently make up 25 percent of the American population and the oldest will be turning 18 years of age. This is the Data from the CDC: Suicide rates for people aged 10-24 increased 56% between 2007 and 2017. Children between 10-14, suicide rates tripled between 2007-2017. Suicide rates have increased among millennials but the data suggests Generation Z might be the most at risk for mental illness. What separated the Dark Ages from Light was Christ! All the social media platforms has really separated us from each other! Not much one on one anymore in personal relationships! You could attend a Mega Church and be there for 20 years and the Pastor would not know who you are! He could not recognize you from a stranger on the srteet! The big ministries have not bucked this trend! They may have contributed! The strong fabric of America was the small churches across America when a Pastor had about 30 members! The Congregation was accountable to him and personal problems were dealt with privately and personally! Another problem with the Mega Church is the resources are taken out of a local community to a central location and the local community has no say in distribution of resources! When you see the Mega Church Pastors living in million dollar mansions a sad tale of selfishness is exhibited! The mission field in America is the biggest mission field available to we the people of God! The unaffiliated in the Pew Research means people who profess atheism and agnostics. The atheism is acquired by the teaching of Evolution in our public schools across America! Jesus said look on the fields they are ripe for the harvest! Lead us not into Temptation!
Pope Francis wants to change this section of the Lord’s prayer to: “Keep us from falling into temptation.” I do not have any problem with this semantics however the word we need to pay attention to is “Temptation.” In James 1:13 it says God cannot be tempted neither does he tempt any man! Why? Because there is no sin in him and he is Holy! Satan is the father of sin and executer of all sin! What did Jesus mean by “Lead us not into Temptation?” What Jesus meant with this model prayer to the Father is lead us not into denying Christ! The only unpardonable sin is to deny Christ! Every other sin can be forgiven! To deny Christ is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit who is part of the Trinity along with Christ! I touched on this topic in January of 2018. You can type in on our search box of our blog, “Hour of Temptation! Revelation 3:10”, and it will take you to this posting. So in Revelation 3:10 what did Jesus mean by keeping us from the hour of temptation? Keeping us from denying Jesus! The 21 Coptic Christian believers who were beheaded last year were kept from the hour of temptation! Christ will give us strength not to deny him! So what are the forces in American culture that put pressure on you to deny Christ! There are many! Popular culture in Hollywood, Political correctness, political left, liberal media and social media, educational teaching of atheism in evolution, humanism, socialism, abortion, racial supremacy, anti-colonialism, gay marriage, lesbians and transgenderism! These are not all but the more obvious! These are the principalities and powers of darkness that will tempt you to deny Christ! So how do we resist the Devil? The same way Jesus did! With the Word of God! It is written man shall not live by bread alone! It is written! It is written! If you do not know your Bible you are hanging out on a limb! An eternity at stake! Jesus came to deliver us from our sin! The only way you can thwart God’s love for you is to deny him! So who would be so foolish? Many! Observations of God and Men!
I have done some studies about events and the leaders of the world prior to WWII. I have studied the ideologies of Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin and Emperor Hirohito of Japan! What was the driving purpose for their ideologies was determined by their belief about God! Their supporting cast were their cultures! Much of Eastern and Western Europe at this time in history embraced Darwinism or Evolution! Charles Darwin was an atheistic Jew who believed that since there is no God things must have happened this way! That is we must have evolved from very primitive life forms! Japan was very different in their culture where they worshipped the Emperor as God! The west and the east were are on very different ends of the spectrum in their belief about God but with the same devastating results! What about Islam? What does believing in a false god lead to whether religious or not? If you are an atheist you make yourself God! If you make man god then you make yourself equal with God! Jesus was man but he was also God! I have noticed in history and in my own life that if you worship a false god you will sacrifice others for your own perceived gains! If you worship the real God you will sacrifice yourself to help others! Whether you wear a religious cloak or not this is the bottom line! The sacrificing could be your laying down your life for others as the disciples did or living one day at a time sacrificing for your family and the community! Sacrificing for friends and sacrificing for strangers! It could be coaching a youth basketball team! Serving in your church! The day I discovered God’s only Son Jesus Christ sacrificed his life for me for my sin I wanted to sacrifice my life in service to others! There is a righteous sacrifice and an unrighteous sacrifice! The righteous sacrifice will always benefit others the unrighteous sacrifice will always destroy others! Serving the living God will benefit all. We face the false god of Darwinism in American culture today! Sacrificing children through abortion to cover sin with 57 million victims so far! Death cannot be our motto! Gay marriage cannot produce children ending in the death of our culture! Gay’s, lesbians and transgenders have about a 40 percent higher suicide rate than the rest of the culture! The only ones holding America together today are the Christians and Orthodox Jews who vote Republican for traditional values that have always made America great! Train Up! Proverbs 22:6
Hebrew Translation: “Train up; that is initiate, consecrate, dedicate and teach in community, a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Comment: The key here is to teach the child in the totality of the community! So what is the trinity of the community? It is first parents, church and school! The school part is where the rub can come in! If your children attend a public tax funded school here in America the children or young adults will be conflicted! That is they will be taught things there that will contradict what you teach them at home and in the Church! Creation versus evolution is one important example! The children will be taught that homosexual, lesbian and transgender gender is to be celebrated! Loyalty to America will be discouraged! Prayer will not be allowed! No Bibles in school! If your children attend a religious supported school whether Jewish, Catholic or Protestant their chances of confliction are greatly reduced! They will also be exposed to real academic training rather than social engineering! The Democratic Party gets their supporters and voters through the Public education system! Home schooling is an option! One third of all Harvard freshman are home schooled adults! I want to have my children miss out on school shootings, drugs and the violence in public schools! Twenty percent of all public high school graduates cannot read! Raising children is a real challenge but what complicates it is your children being taught atheistic ideologies from Darwin, Engels, Marks and others that oppose your Biblical view of life! Division Through Public Schools!
But, you will say, we destroy the most hallowed of relations, when we replace home education by social education. The communists have not invented the intervention of society in education; they do not seek to alter the character of that intervention, and to rescue education from the influence of the ruling class. Karl Marx Comment: If you can homeschool or send your children to a private school and pull them out of public schools you would be rescuing your children from the state! One of my little grandsons is attending a public school up in Kentucky. He would always eat lunch in the school cafeteria with his little friend everyday. His little friend would pray before lunch and asked my grandson if he could join him! The teacher on duty in the cafeteria during their prayer stopped them and scolded them and told them they are not allowed to pray here! I have asked President Trump to introduce school vouchers to privatize the system which would introduce competition and get rid of social engineering and return education to the children of America! It would also break down the public education which is the left wing of the Democratic Party with it’s Teachers Union! What the public schools work very hard at is undermining parental authority in the home! This tactic is right out of the Communist Manifesto of Karl Marx! In fact the Democratic Party takes their tactics right out of his playbook! He was referring to his partner Karl Marx! Socialism is immoral! It is theft of wealth! Capitalism is moral and the business people work to create a product to supply a demand for services and products! The creation of these products employ people! Socialism is taking what is not yours! It is living off those that do work! Engels made an argument using anthropological evidence of the time to show that family structure changes over history, and that the concept of monogamy came from the necessity within class society or men to control women to ensure their own children would inherit their property. He argued a communist society would allow people to make decisions about their relationship free of economic constraints. Where did Engels get his anti-marriage anti-Biblical idea’s? After reading the publications of Charles Darwin on the “Origin of Species”, which was the epiphany of everything they believed! (Marx and Engels). So we see our social ills in America are based on the left promoting this agenda! Welfare since the 1960’s in America took Father’s out of homes with children with no moral guidance! Their economic welfare state requires they sell drugs to supplement their welfare monies! So our war zones in Chicago and other inter cities are the result of Democratic administrations over decades of time pushing the socialist doctrines of Marx and Engels that has put our inter cities into war zones! Jesus said persecution will come to you if you are a follower of Christ! Many places in the world Christian martyrdom is common! However in America the assault is growing on Christian’s! Here are the steps that lead to persecution in any culture! What was once celebrated is now condemned! Some examples? Crosses, traditional marriage between a man and a woman! Bibles! Ten Commandments! American Flag! Patriotism! Legal immigration! Borders! Nationalism! Military service! Sodomy laws! Sunday worship! Free speech! Right to bare arms! Prayer in schools! Free press! Visual displays of Christ! Verbal expressions of Christ in the public places! Litigation and fines against those that support traditional values! Social media blocking of Christian content on Facebook, Google and other media forms! So if you condemn what the Bible has expressed as evil then you will not celebrate the condemned then you will be condemned by the culture politically, socially and judiciously!
