Train Up! Proverbs 22:6

Hebrew Translation: “Train up; that is initiate, consecrate, dedicate and teach in community, a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Comment: The key here is to teach the child in the totality of the community! So what is the trinity of the community? It is first parents, church and school! The school part is where the rub can come in! If your children attend a public tax funded school here in America the children or young adults will be conflicted! That is they will be taught things there that will contradict what you teach them at home and in the Church! Creation versus evolution is one important example! The children will be taught that homosexual, lesbian and transgender gender is to be celebrated! Loyalty to America will be discouraged! Prayer will not be allowed! No Bibles in school! If your children attend a religious supported school whether Jewish, Catholic or Protestant their chances of confliction are greatly reduced! They will also be exposed to real academic training rather than social engineering! The Democratic Party gets their supporters and voters through the Public education system! Home schooling is an option! One third of all Harvard freshman are home schooled adults! I want to have my children miss out on school shootings, drugs and the violence in public schools! Twenty percent of all public high school graduates cannot read! Raising children is a real challenge but what complicates it is your children being taught atheistic ideologies from Darwin, Engels, Marks and others that oppose your Biblical view of life! Treasure in Heaven? Upon the Earth?

Matthew 6:19-21 Comment: So what is the difference between earth and heaven? What did Jesus mean here? You might think you know the difference but let us look at the Greek root words used for these two English words! The word earth means the dust part of the earth! It does not include the above ground earth! However we are made from the dust of the earth! We will return to the dust of the earth! All the elements in the human body are found in the dust of the earth! Science confirms the scriptures of your Bible! The word heaven used here is also interesting because this word used here by Jesus means in a physical sense! It means the all embracing heaven beneath which is the earth. What does the word heart mean? It means every thought, reasoning, understanding, will, judgment, designs, affections, love, hatred, fear, joy, sorrow and anger of a human being! We cannot hide our heart from God! This is reason alone to repent of our sin! Misplaced values of the heart will lead to wrong choices! So what did Jesus mean when we put all these three words together? Jesus was saying do not invest your life in dust! Your earthly treasures will perish with your body! Jesus is saying the eternal part of us will never perish! It is your soul, mind and eternal body! Jesus will one day raise us from the dead! To invest treasures in heaven means to invest in souls here in the earth! Use your resources to reach people for Christ! This is why our Pastor Cope Sunday had an emphasis on Vacation Bible School for our children! This is why he had a Gideon’s International speaker at the pulpit to fund Bible distribution world wide! If you go after money and not soul’s you will become spiritually bankrupt! Separated from God! Will your treasure perish with you or grow the Kingdom of God here on earth? God Plant’s Word’s First! Isaiah 51:16

Hebrew Translation: “I have put my words the Ten Commandments into the border of your mouth, and have concealed thee in the shadow of my hand with power and strength, that I may plant the heavens and lay the foundation of the earth, and say unto Israel, unto Jerusalem, thou art my people.” Comment: God has planted his words into the mouth of the Jews even before creation! Remember John 1:1? In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. God’s Word established the world! It is the first cause of everything! Notice God has concealed the Jews from their enemies! He has given them power and strength over their enemies! They are the head and not the tail. When God’s Word lives in your heart, soul and mind then we become his people! God gives us a new heart! His heart! Jesus said we must be born again! A new creation where sin no longer controls us! Purpose of Creation?

Creation’s highest aim and most sublime result is belief in God! The most exalted rank of humanity is the Knowledge of God! Said Nursi (1878-1960) Turkish Theologian. Comment: How sad the atheists and evolutionists will miss this most precious gift while on earth and in eternity! Fear Not!

Just before Jesus raised the dead, healed the sick or calmed the storm he said, “Fear Not!” So what did he mean? Why did he say it? The Greek word is phobia which means to be in awe of or revere! To exalt it! To worship it! How do we worship fear? Watch violent movies! Have evil thoughts and replay them over and over again in your mind! We live in a violent world today just as Jesus did! Fear causes us to sin! I will do whatever it takes to get what i want! Love is just the opposite of fear! Love means to have affection or benevolence towards people! To have charity! It means more than just being a friend! It means to sacrifice for others! It does not mean to sacrifice others! That is what fear promotes! Hell is full of the fearful! They believe the lie that God does not love them! Heaven is full of love! For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son! A sacrifice for you and me to deliver us from our fear! The Fool Has Said in His Heart——-Psalm 14:1

The fool has said in his heart there is no God! This is not all the verse but we will start here. So what is a fool? Do they just live in Washington D.C.? It means to be stupid, silly, dull as one taught by idols! We have a Television show named American Idol. An idol is man made then worshiped by man as God! In other words it is self-worship! A fool means to dishonor, come to nought, disgraceful, perverse, dishonorable, wicked and to fall away! Sounds like a Democrat? It also means to be dull, absurd and crippled! Handicapped! It also means to be fat! A fat head! Now the fool said in his heart! The heart is the immaterial inner self. It is the seat of the mind and the soul. It is the eternal part of us that will live beyond the grave! This is why Jesus said we must be born again! The eternal part of us must be transformed before death for whatsoever state that is at death continues on forever! That is why soul winning is urgent! It goes on to say they are corrupt meaning they are spoiled, decayed, perverted and come to ruin! They have done abominable works! That is to cause fear, disgust and are detestable! They are hostile towards all authority! None of them do good works! Good means to be kind and morally correct! What about those that claim they know God but do evil? The Chief Modern Rival of Christianity is ‘Liberalism’…at every point, the two movements are in direct opposition! His text book on New Testament Greek is still used in seminaries today! Comment: Who was the founder of liberalism? John Locke (1634-1704) However let us dig deeper! Let us hear what Satan told the first inhabitants of earth found in the Book of Genesis! “Has God said? Surely He has not said? You will not die if you partake of this fruit! Rudolf Christian Karl Diesel (1858-1913)

Rudolf was a German inventor and mechanical engineer that was granted a patent for the Diesel engine in 1892. He also held two U.S. patents. He nearly died when one of his test engines exploded and he spent  months in a hospital! Comment; Whatever generation you find yourself living in truth will always be truth and false will always be a lie! John 14:6  Jesus said, ” I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the Father, but by me!”
