Real Purpose!

Real Freedom!

1 Corinthians 9:19 “For though I be [free] from all men, yet have I made myself [servant] unto all, that I might gain the more.” Commentary: Free used here means not dependent upon another for the most part in a social and political sense! Not a slave! Free from the bondage of dependency. The word servant is just the opposite. It is dependency and bondage to any person or thing, as to be bound by the law. True freedom means to love God and man! Forgiving your enemies perceived or otherwise! Free from all yet servant to all! This freedom is hard to achieve in any political or social system! Why? It is not earned it is a gift! Our U.S. Constitution is probably the best model for a more perfect union! All of us are interdependent in some way! Nothing is done or achieved outside of these relationships! It may be your husband, wife, family, doctor, lawyer, pastor, teacher, dentist, cop, plumber, mechanic, builder, employer or employee! Like Paul we are dependent upon God because he is our Father in heaven and free to worship him and share his love with other people! We build up the Kingdom of God here on earth through Christ not to tear down and destroy our existing political system and wreck our foundations but to lead men to build their lives on a firm foundation that will never perish! We desire a spiritual revolution where men come to Christ and surrender their evil will to the redemptive will of Christ! Freedom is not free! Jesus took away our sin and rebellion on the Cross! Salvation comes with a price even death on a Cross! Christ fulfilled the law for you! He kept the law you could never obey! The love of God is expressed in keeping the law! Jesus said if you love me keep my Commandments! We cannot do this unless Christ is in us! Love God and man! Love replaces hate of God and man because God does for us now what we could never do for ourselves! Outside of Christ we cannot love ourselves or others because unforgiven sin will dominate our lives! The guilt will never let love flow! Free to serve God and man is a gift from God! Jesus said he who is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven is servant of all! To serve not out of obligation but out of the love of God that we have freely received! James & Hamsa Sasse, GodWhoisGod.com

As a Man Thinketh! Proverbs 23:7

An experiment was conducted with dozens of patients who needed knee surgery! With the permission of the families they did some fake surgeries on patients along with real surgeries on patients suffering from knee pain! The fake surgery patients were put under unconsciousness just as the real surgeries were done. The doctors even made superficial cuts on their knee’s as would be done in a real surgery! After months of following their recovery the experiment revealed amazing results! Using X-ray and MRI studies they discovered the fake surgery patients were recovering as well as the real patient surgeries and even with some having better results than those that had the real surgeries! What was discovered was that all the patients  expected to get better! Even the ones that did not have the real surgery expected to get better! What was written in Proverbs some 3000 years ago is confirmed by science that the Word of God has power over sickness and death! Joel Osteen

Real Fireworks! John 8:12

Greek Translation: “Then Jesus spake unto them, saying, I am the light of the day that is never quenched! I am the light of the sum of all person’s that have ever lived or ever will live! He that moves quickly following me in time shall not walk in the darkness of unhappiness and ruin but shall have my light in your life, in your spirit and soul.” Comment: Notice Jesus light will never be quenched though much of the world tries to snuff out the light! As the fireworks are going off in our neighborhood it is beginning to rain! This light is temporary and will die with the rain! The word life used here in this passage means the soul and spirit set apart from the physical body! Jesus is speaking to the eternal parts of us of soul and spirit! The first time light is used in our Bible is at creation in Genesis 1:3. The Hebrew word used there is associated with Salvation, prosperity, wisdom and justice! Do you notice Jesus is the fulfillment of all of these characteristics! Our life is to embody this nature of God! Since Jesus defeated sin for us on Calvary the door is open to us to receive the nature of God with all His attributes! Pride! Isaiah 39:1-2

The Babylonian Ambassadors came to King Hezekiah in Israel to give him gifts  for they had heard he had been sick. Hezekiah showed them all the treasures in the Temple and government treasuries! He gave them a tour of all his stuff! Isaiah inquired after they left and asked the king who were these people and what did they want? After Isaiah learned who they were he warned the King he had made a grave error! He told the King the following generations would be taken captive to Babylon as slaves and all their wealth carried away! Pride before the fall? It is good to give a testimony to people for how God has blessed you! However some will become jealous and try to steal your goods! Sometimes treasures can draw the wrong people into your life! If you have a loyal faithful friend when you were poor they will be faithful when you are rich! Someone like Jesus! Remember Job after he lost it all? Miserable friends! God recovered Job! Real Prophets Suffer! 1 Kings Chapter 17

Elijah lived in a great day of Apostasy in Israel. King Ahab and Jezebel were Baal worshipers! The centerpiece of Baal worship was child sacrifice! Much like abortion in America today! However Elijah did not have a 501c tax exemption! He spoke some prophetic words over Ahab and Jezebel that were not nice! Like the dogs will lick your blood and there will not be enough left of you to bury! However Elijah started off with a drought predicted for the King! How would the 21st century prophets respond to Ahab and abortion? Maybe something like this? Ahab you are going to be rich and wealthy! Prosperity will be everywhere you look! You will be blessed, successful and famous! Peace will dominate your realm! Your lovely wife Jezebel is such a blessing to us! Ahab our ministry is growing everyday and a suggested donation of 30 pieces of silver would grant you God’s favor and we would pray for you! Elijah stuck with God’s word and Ahab sent his army after him! God sent Elijah to a remote area where a small stream provided water! This brook drained into the Jordan River. Then God set up a bird feeder for him! I might have complained here? Ravens are scavengers and are road kill specialists! The prophetic word that caused the drought caused the small stream to dry up! So God sent him to a widom and her son for supplies? She warmly received him and told him they have enough supplies for one meal then we can all die! Elijah told her the provisions would last through the drought! Then the widow’s son gets sick and dies? The widow blames Elijah for his death? I would have lost it here! You no good low down and i cannot finish the sentence here! Elijah keeps his cool and focuses on the real problem the dead son! Elijah raises the son from the dead! So what was the widow’s testimony? “Now i know you are a man of God and that the word of God is in your mouth and that it is truth!” Elijah and Moses with Jesus stood at the Mount of Transfiguration! Elijah was taken up to Heaven and did not physically die! At the Mount Elijah represented the Prophets. Moses the law and Jesus the Prophet, Priest and King! Know Where Your Pastor Stands On Issues!

You might start with a simple question. Is the gay and lesbian lifestyle a sin? He may say we believe in traditional marriage. Ask again according to the Bible is the gay and lesbian lifestyle a sin? A lot of churches in America are endorsing sin from the pulpit! Silence on these cultural issues is supporting them! Be careful you are not supporting a ministry that is riding the political correctness fence! It is very possible in the last days the real church of Jesus Christ will go underground here in America!
