A New Way of Living!

If man had his way, the plan of redemption would be an endless and bloody conflict! In reality, salvation was bought not by Jesus fist, but by His nail-pierced hands; not by muscle but by love; not by vengeance but by forgiveness; not by force but by sacrifice. Jesus Christ surrendered in order that He might win; He destroyed His enemies by dying for them and conquered death by allowing death to conquer Him! Pastor A. W. Tozer (1897-1963) Comment: Man could never achieve by himself what God has done for us and enabled us to model our lives after him! That is to live and die one day at a time with love for our fellow man the only motivation for what we say and do! To sacrifice for others rather than sacrifice others for ourselves! To trust God allows us to love our fellow man knowing our outcome is based upon His love! Happy Easter

Time Shall Be No More! Psalm 90:1

Lord God, thou has been our dwelling place in all generations. Comment: Moses wrote this Psalm and is the oldest Psalm in our Bible! What was Moses saying? Generations represent the revolution of time! Time reveals everything! It includes the revelation of God to men! It also reveals the character of man and the character of God! Time is linear and measurable! Time is the result of creation! Time does not measure creation it is creation! Time is your best friend or worst enemy depending on what you do with it! It allows you to find the living God or allows you to reject the living God! Time proves God’s faithfulness and man’s folly! Time is the opportunity presented to you for redemption! Time marches on as generations come and go! Every generation has to make a choice about God! Reverence him or reject him! After time passes for us the opportunity for accepting redemption passes! Then our choices are locked in forever! God wants to forgive you of your wrong choices but that requires repentance on your part! Humility rather than pride! Time opens the door and closes the door! Time presented the incarnation of God into flesh through his Son Jesus Christ into the earth! Time allowed his crucifixion on the Cross for our sin! Time will present his second coming into the earth! Time will reveal you redemption or judgment! Time is the best friend of the believer and the worst enemy of the unrepentant! Time allows us to receive God’s love and demonstrate God’s love to others! Water saved Noah and his family but destroyed the rest of the world! If you choose God the elements of the earth created by God will save you! If you reject the Savior the elements will destroy you! Which side of history will you choose? Your way or his way? Life or death? Sin or redemption? Living in Hell is not an option worth considering! Time shall be no more is declared in Revelation 10:6! This is the echo of Moses in Psalm 90! Do You Understand? Luke 24:45

Greek Translation: ‘Then Jesus opened up their understanding or mental and intellectual perception. He stirred up and agitated their minds and comprehension. He caused them to hear and perceive God’s thoughts with their thoughts so that they could measure the scriptures against their own thoughts and actions.” Comment: It is interesting that the Greek word for “scriptures”, is the word graphe from which we get our English word graph! So what is a graph for? What purpose? It is used to measure and compare things! We need to measure and compare our life to the Word of God! To be honest when we do this we come up short! Lacking! At a loss! Missing link! So how can we measure up? If we look at a graph of ten motor vehicles comparing gas mileage you might want to buy the one that gets the most gas mileage! However if you look at another graph that shows this vehicle has the highest maintenance repairs and another graph that shows this vehicle also has the highest fatality rate then you might change your mind? I can measure my life against other men and I may look good but by other men I look like a failure! The Apostle Paul said it is unwise to compare among men! If I have a compass I can find north and find my way by the standard for direction! How does my life rank against the standard of God? If honest I can only fall at His feet asking for forgiveness and mercy! Then Jesus said we must forgive others as He has forgiven us! If you do not do this you block your own forgiveness! So how do we meet the standard set by God? We cannot in and of ourselves! Our standard was provided to us by God Himself! Through His Son Jesus Christ! God paid the penalty for our sin at the Cross! When we accept His standard in His Son’s sacrifice for our sin then we are forgiven! If we reject the standard of the sinless Savior then we stand naked before God with no covering! We will one day stand before a Holy God Jesus Christ who will judge the living and the dead! If we look at a graph and compare the life of Jesus to ourselves all we can do is bow our knee and confess with our tongue that Jesus Christ is Lord! Reproach of Men! Isaiah 51:7

“Listen unto me carefully that you understand to discern and know righteousness. For my people are those who know my heart and inner soul of my law. Fear not the shameful displeasure of men neither be broken or despaired of their sinful rebuke.” Comment: The true commentary is we all initially opposed God! Those that have repented understand His righteousness because they understand His forgiveness! Once you understand you have sinned against God you understand His righteousness! Your night brings His light into your life! Those that live in and promote evil do not understand their error and God’s standard! God’s standard is described in your Bible but those that reject His Word reject God Himself! As described in Isaiah sinners will try to shame you and rebuke you for taking the God standard! They will sue you and drag you into court as they did with the Colorado family who refused to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple! Since Jesus is not around to spit in His face, mock Him, plant a crown of thorns on Him, whip Him bloody and nail Him to a Cross they only have you His follower to persecute! Remember on the Cross Jesus asked His Father to forgive them for they know not what they do! Why could not Jesus have forgiven them? Jesus had not yet completed His redemptive work on the Cross! After Jesus death and resurrection the way was open for His persecutors to repent! It would not be smart to reject the only God who can forgive you your sin! Living on the Edge! 2017 A.D.

Comment: It is obvious whether the 2nd Century or the 21st Century that Christmas does bring out the best in us and the worst in people! People like then or now are living on the edge of eternity! It has been said people all die sooner than expected! Where is you expectation placed? In this world? I do not watch Fox News on a regular basis but last night at the evening meal we tuned in! They had the “Five”, on and the subject of Christmas was brought up! Being a conservative network I thought this would be interesting! I was in for surprise! One of the five said I do not believe the Christmas story! Another confirmed his belief! One of the ladies spoke up and said, “Well, it is good to know something about Christmas because it can help you in your career!” Really? Career? She should ask Bill O’reilly and others that have fallen before her! They are like mental patients looking out through the bars of their windows planning what they will do after retirement! The Christmas scrooge is alive and well! Christmas brings our in people their spiritual condition! A career is really what we will do for all eternity! What are we going to do forever? How you begin your eternal career depends on what you with Christ here while living here on earth! You can live to appease the political correct crowd but you will be corralled with them in the same pen! Should I bring up Hell during Christmas? Without Hell Christmas is meaningless! I thought I would mention it since I do not hear it from the American pulpits anymore? Jesus said if you deny me before men I will deny you before the Father! Sorry God does have a gender! If you do not believe the virgin birth then you will not believe anything about Christ! You then believe the lie there is no Heaven and no Hell. Believing one lie about God will cause you to promote other lies about God! Do not ignore the largest part of your eternity and sell out your birthright for some manna! A career separated from God for eternity is the worst Christmas gift you could ever acquire! Receive His gift of eternal life and change your destiny! National Emblem!

For my own part, I wish the bald eagle had not been chosen the representative of our country! He is a bird of bad moral character! He does not get his living honestly! Benjamin Franklin   Comment: Dear Mr. Franklin, He only kills for food like you and I. He does not kill for revenge and out of anger! He does not live on food stamps! When I get to Heaven I will explain that one! He is not dependent on the government! He does not get a welfare check! Again explain to you in Heaven! He actually works for a living! He builds his own house! He helps control populations! He has never told a lie! Just like George! Should we have chosen the vulture for our National emblem? He keeps our highways clean! Artificial Intelligence?

Does it really exist? Research scientist’s have found large deposits in Washington D.C.! There are layers of it in the rock formations there built up for over 200 years! According to research there were also found layers in Moscow, London, Brussels and other liberal strata formations! DNA tests have confirmed that this exists among the liberal left populations of the world! Communists, socialists and democrats hold the highest percentages of this material in their populations! Psychological studies have shown us that these people do not want to work for a living so they must live off those that work for a living! Will update you on anymore new research on this subject!
