They Do Matter! Decoration Day May 1868

They died for you that is why they matter! No life is wasted if it is expended to defend others! That is what the “Cross” is all about! From the Concord Church to Benghazi American’s have sacrificed their lives for you! General John A. Logan ordered his posts in May of 1868 to decorate graves of the civil war fallen, 620000, with the choicest flowers of springtime! We should guard their graves with sacred vigilance! America’s Internal Breakup!

It is encouraging to see the African America Pastor’s in the Baltimore area and their congregations working together to restore order! I wish I could say the same for the political leadership? The conclusion from the Ferguson trouble was not enough minorities on the police force there! Baltimore has a minority police force so wrong conclusion there! Evil seems to be well represented across all racial lines! I feel like I am back in the 1960’s again! When I was back in high school then my prayer was the 1960’s would never return to America again! I since then thought we have moved past that! History does repeat itself! If we are looking for someone to blame who is it? Is it the African American business owners who now have their shops burned down? Is it the police officers who are in the hospital wondering who is going to take care of their families? Is it the elderly who do not have a care home facility now? America seems like the American Indian who is sawing up a wooden Indian for firewood to stay warm! We are at the tipping point now where we can no longer trust government because they are no longer interested in the welfare of it’s citizens but promote their own political agenda. End of the Story?

When it comes to Christ and His followers there is no end to the story! We have a cliché in American culture that is used to close out a conclusion by saying; “At the end of the day.” The end of the day brings a new day and another testimony written from God’s playbook! Christ’s Kingdom continues forever and ever and ever! In Heaven and here on earth! His story is our story in real time even more than a history of reporting the facts! Christ writes history in His followers! For every believer in every generation that receives Christ the old story becomes new again with results that are impossible to explain in natural terms! Anti-Zionism is Alive and Well!

What are the three most hated nations in the world? They are Iran, North Korea and Israel! Israel? How can this be? They say the only thing man has learned from history is that he has not learned from history! Jesus said you will be persecuted because of me! Usually our political views are shaped by our religious views or lack of them. As in the case of Islam this continues and then the political views become militarized! This is what happened to Nazi Germany. However here in America things are not so simple! Culturally America is discounting the Bible as it is being pushed out of our schools and public places. It is being replaced with other world views. Anti-Zion and Anti-Christian thought are linked together. Popular culture is abandoning Christ! It is interesting that in any culture when the Holy scriptures are abandoned or rejected then a world view or philosophy develop that opposes scripture! Notice they do not run parallel to each other but oppose each other! So our popular culture enforces movements politically like abortion, gays, lesbians, drug use, gambling, ect. Yes promotion of evil that the scriptures oppose! Simply a war between good and evil! Sadly in church history the church has not been a supporter of Israel either! There are a small minority of Christians in America who actively support Israel. Today the Jews in Europe are fleeing back to Israel under persecution from Islam. The Christians in Europe are perplexed on how to deal Muslims living in their communities? During Hitler’s purge the Jews had no homeland to escape too! A Jewish chemist helped England win World War I against Germany. This helped set up a return to their homeland. What has happened to American support to Israel under President Obama? Sadly he has a contempt for Israel! He being a Muslim I understand that. In his book “Audacity of Hope”, he explains that when push comes to shove he will side with Islam! Right now as Benjamin Netanyahu runs for re-election rich Obama supporters are spending millions of dollars trying to defeat him! Jesus is a Jew as all the writers of scripture. The cell phone was invented in Israel! About 80 percent of all inventions come through the Jews! Hitler kicked Albert Einstein out of Germany in the 1930’s. He came to America through the Manhattan Project developed the Atomic bomb which helped win World War II. We have been so Blessed by the Jews yet the world hates them? What is the Book? Revelation 1:11

The Book here is the Book of Revelation! Notice that when Christ gave this Revelation to John he was to immediately release this to the seven churches in Asia. God puts a priority on “His Church” and “His Body” and does not leave us in the dark! The world is in darkness and like the navigator told the pilot we are making very good time but I do not know where we are? We are so Blessed in the Body of Christ to know future events and are not taken by surprise when history unfolds before us. History confirms the Bible both past, present and future! The Good The Bad and The Ugly!

We were in a Methodist Church yesterday on Nevada Avenue here in Colorado Springs. We were looking into a ministry offered there. I like old churches since they have a lot of history behind them! They had a missions room where I really love to hang out! This church supports a church in Russia. They had photos of the church in Russia along with members from here who have gone there to help with the work. In one photo it shows the picture of the pastor from here with the Russian pastor shaking hands in the Russian church office. Really nice except for one thing? In between them hanging on the wall was a portrait of Lenin? Then I remembered the church in Russia is state run! In fact the Bishop of the Russian Orthodox church lives in the Kremlin with Putin! Where is Putin’s portrait in the church? I personally would make a dartboard out of their portrait’s and move their images to the church recreation room where the children could throw darts! History Endorses The Bible! Genesis 16:11-12

God told Hagar one of the wives of Abraham that her son Ishmael would be a wild man with his hand against every man and every man’s hand against him! The Book of Genesis was written about 1450 BC by Moses during the wilderness wandering after leaving Egypt. Abraham lived about 420 years before Moses. Islam did not come along until about 650 AD. So this prophecy about Ishmael and the Arabs was given about 2100 years before Islam came along. This family feud between the Jews and the Arabs has gone on for thousands of years. All Islam did for the Arabs was legitimize their hatred towards Christians and Jews. There is no political solution for this problem and no military solution. This is a spiritual battle that wages on through the flesh! There can only be a spiritual solution for a spiritual problem! God reconciled Himself to man through His Son Jesus Christ. When we reject the Blood of Christ as the atonement then man’s blood will flow! Christ came to make us spiritual brothers and this peace is the only lasting peace man will ever know and experience! Judaism and Christ!

Judaism was the womb that birthed forth Christ and Christianity! Let us never forget the unbreakable link between the Christian and the Jew. Though some Jews today reject Christ let us not forget that their history was foundational to bring our Messiah into the earth! The Jewish history and culture prepared the way for God to position His Son to enter history at the exact appointed time. The Jews are still the apple of His eye and God will deal with them and open their eyes to Christ especially during the tribulation period as described in the Book of Revelation.
