Truncey Gone Bad!
Johnny hated school. He loved the outdoors and did things like hiking, hunting and fishing! He was in the 5th grade and his teacher thought she might have to hold him back a grade! His father and mother left for work on Monday morning at 7:00 AM. Johnny’s school bus picked him up at 8:00 AM. At 7:30 AM sharp Johnny called the school. The principal just happened to answer the phone! Johnny tried to make his voice sound like an adult speaking in a very low tone and he placed a cloth over the phone receiver! He said, “This is Mr. Wilson Johnny’s father and he is sick and cannot come to school today! The principal had a hard time understanding his words so he asked him to repeat what he said! Mister my father said i do not have to come to school today!!
Esau and Jacob Romans 9:13
Why did God hate Esau and love Jacob? Esau was the first born and should get all the perks! The name Jacob means trickster or to supplant or replace. The name James in the New Testament is the same word as Jacob and has the same meaning! In fact in some foreign language translations of the New Testament calls the Book of James the Book of Jacob. God does not personally hate Esau but hates his priorities! We must value what God values! Our priorities must be God’s priorities! We must define our priorities according to scripture! We must make wise choices! Seek first the Kingdom of God! God will either respect or disrespect your priorities! There is no difference between the Jew and the Greek! Whosoever calls on His name shall be saved! Esau despised his birthright but Jacob valued it! If you value what God values then you will find favor with God! Live your life with integrity! The root word for integrity is the word integer. Something complete and not a fraction of something but a whole number. Let your yes be yes and your no be no! Do not add or subtract from the Bible. Do not cherry pick the Bible! That is only what you like! Some people think they will be cheated if they do the right thing? Jacob was cheated by his uncle Laban! Jacob did not take vengeance but let God Bless him more than if he had not been cheated! Isaac loved Esau more than Jacob because he was a hunter. Jacob tricked his father into thinking he was Esau! He did this to get the Blessing of the first born. Jacob comes in the name of another! To receive Blessings we do not come in our own name but in the name of Jesus Christ! We despised our birthright by living in sin! He took our sin away! We cannot save ourselves but in the name of another! Jacob wrestled all night with God! Jacob did not give up until he was Blessed! Do not compete but get complete! Jesus wrestled in the Garden of Gethsemane for us! Jacob in Faith got a name change! Yes, Israel! God promoted him to be a Prince! Jesus is our Prince of peace! Anti-Zionism is Alive and Well!
What are the three most hated nations in the world? They are Iran, North Korea and Israel! Israel? How can this be? They say the only thing man has learned from history is that he has not learned from history! Jesus said you will be persecuted because of me! Usually our political views are shaped by our religious views or lack of them. As in the case of Islam this continues and then the political views become militarized! This is what happened to Nazi Germany. However here in America things are not so simple! Culturally America is discounting the Bible as it is being pushed out of our schools and public places. It is being replaced with other world views. Anti-Zion and Anti-Christian thought are linked together. Popular culture is abandoning Christ! It is interesting that in any culture when the Holy scriptures are abandoned or rejected then a world view or philosophy develop that opposes scripture! Notice they do not run parallel to each other but oppose each other! So our popular culture enforces movements politically like abortion, gays, lesbians, drug use, gambling, ect. Yes promotion of evil that the scriptures oppose! Simply a war between good and evil! Sadly in church history the church has not been a supporter of Israel either! There are a small minority of Christians in America who actively support Israel. Today the Jews in Europe are fleeing back to Israel under persecution from Islam. The Christians in Europe are perplexed on how to deal Muslims living in their communities? During Hitler’s purge the Jews had no homeland to escape too! A Jewish chemist helped England win World War I against Germany. This helped set up a return to their homeland. What has happened to American support to Israel under President Obama? Sadly he has a contempt for Israel! He being a Muslim I understand that. In his book “Audacity of Hope”, he explains that when push comes to shove he will side with Islam!
