First our condolences to the families of Nepal in their great loss of life! God does not cause earthquakes! God does not cause physical death! Man’s rebellion and sin against God is responsible! But God has promised to raise us from the dead! According to the Bible there are many signs on the earth and in the heavens in the last days before Christ’s return that will be present. Here is a brief summary: 1. Increase of knowledge 2. Government ability to enforce the Mark (One world government) 3. Man of Sin revealed 4. Violence and sexual immorality 5. Rise of spiritualism 6. Massive animal deaths 7. Natural disasters 8. Unsealed prophecy 9. False Christ’s and prophets 10. World pushing for peace 11. War 12. Famines 13. Christians being killed 14. Increase in Sin 15. Christians departing from the truth 16. God destroys those who destroy the earth 17. The Gospel preached into all the earth. There are many scriptures that support these signs! Most all the signs are on us today! I want to talk about natural disasters today. There has been a 200 percent increase in natural disasters since 1979. Large earthquakes with a value of 5 or higher have doubled in 2014 compared to each year since 1979. You can see by viewing USGS stats page. As of February 22, 2015 there are around 3100 earthquakes happening every month! Remember Jesus on the Cross at the 9th hour when He gave up His Spirit in death? The earth was covered in darkness and then a great earthquake! The vale in the Jewish Temple was rent in two and the graves were opened and people were raised out of their graves and brought to life! This particular earthquake did not kill people but raised people from the dead! This is historical evidence that those who trust in Christ will be raised up! Remember that all will be raised from the dead! Some to everlasting life and some to judgment! Why does the earth quake? It longs for redemption! What you do with Christ will determine your outcome! Dreams! Genesis Chapter 41
The word dreams in the Hebrew means to bind firmly! It can also mean a sense of dumbness! I must dream all the time! The Greek word defines a dream as a vision within a dream. The Bible talks about visions and dreams! The English Webster defines a dream as an image or conception of something. It also can mean to deceive as a ghost. Certainly a dream would have a sense of dumbness unless it were properly interpreted. I am sure we have all had dreams where we were dumbfounded as to the meaning? I remember having a dream about New York City about 6 months prior to 9-11. In this dream I was walking around in the streets of New York and seeing these piles of white powder all over the place? Since I had no one to interpret the dream it did nothing to preclude the attack! I only understood the dream after the attack and then I was not surprised by it! When we were called to the mission field back in the 1980’s we did not know what country we should go too? We thought about Mexico. Then through many visions and dreams God revealed to us He wanted us to go to India! Joseph had the ability to interpret dreams! He interpreted the dreams of the chief butler, the chief baker and then the dreams of Pharaoh of Egypt! Joseph got it right to the saving of the people of Egypt and for his own family from the famine! If you do not get an immediate interpretation of a dream then wait on God and He will find another believer to help you or through events He will show or confirm the dream to you! What I see as a red scarlet thread through the fabric of this ministry is a consistent determination of pointing people to Jesus! Obama Wants to Give Iran 50 Billion to Iran!
Yes! Obama and Kerry in State Department want to give Iran a 50 Billion dollar signing bonus for a nuke deal! What will they not give away to make a deal? They are playing with fire and this will lead to the murder of millions of Christians and Jews around the world! Trying to make a deal with Iran will never work because they cannot be trusted! I know Obama wants a legacy and Secretary Kerry wants the Nobel Peace prize but not on the backs of millions of Christians! Freeing up hundreds of billions of dollars to the Iranian regime will increase their proxy wars throughout the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the rest of the world! Even though the Postal Service lost 2 billion dollars last year they will not be discouraged! Now free airmail service to your congress, senate and even the white house! If you have a beef with your government your mail can be delivered directly to these offices by gyrocopter service! One of the secret service agents who watched the gyrocopter on it’s maiden voyage thought it was the presidential helicopter! He thought after a 7 year drought Obama was finally going to talk to congress! The school children in the bleachers in front of the senate building for photos pointed towards the sky in amazement and one little boy said, “It is a bird, It is a plane, no it is superman!” Encouragement to you is that not all your tax money is wasted by our government just most of it! Women on American Currency?
This is the latest push to give an image of equality. Why is there no woman image on American currency? One opinion is that they spend the money so fast you could never find any money to stamp an image on! Another thought is we simply have not had a woman president yet. If Hillary Clinton should become president we need to place her on our currency according to her value! Her image should be placed on our penny! Obama should go on our two dollar bill after he leaves office! I do not like to see our currency devalued but in the name of equality we could all end up in the poor house! Have You Wrestled with God Lately? Genesis 32:24-28
Can you win this one? Jacob did! Here is the question we need to ask ourselves? Do you have enough Faith in God that if you wrestle with God you could win? One of my best friends back in high school loved to wrestle! I hated it but he loved it! Since we were good friends I became a wrestling dummy for him to practice on! I was much like a sparing partner for a boxer. Kent Dove went on to win the heavy weight wrestling division state title for Colorado. Wrestling was sweaty, brutal, exhausting and very bruising to your body. Jesus wrestled with God for us in the Garden of Gethsemane! He sweat drops of blood! Most of our religious church guy prayers are pious, quiet, indifferent and selfish a sort of milk toast approach to God. You are probably thinking I have enough problems without taking on God! Jacob’s victory was a Blessing from God to himself and to all that followed him! It resulted in a name change. From a trickster to a Prince! The name Israel means to rule as God! If you were able to rule over this world would you do it as God does? Love the good and hate the evil? Jacob became Israel and a different man after his struggle with God and limped as he walked yet dependent upon God! No more tricks to try to get ahead! Do you struggle with God for the lost souls of this world? If they do not fight for themselves who will fight for them? How about the widows and orphans? Jesus wrestled with His Father and the Cross! Why have you forsaken me? Jesus went through hell for you and me so that we will never be forsaken! Let us wrestle with God to pluck souls out of the burning fire and from the Kingdom of darkness! Easter Promotion!
God’s promotion system is opposite the world system we live in! The world system depends on doing wrong to someone in order to get ahead! God’s Kingdom promotes those who do right and suffer wrong for it! The Cross
is our best example! Christ went to the Cross for our wrongs yet was promoted by being raised from the dead and being seated on the right hand of the Father forever! Christ through the Cross also promoted us to Heaven whom He died for our sin! The Promises to Millions! Genesis 24:60
Rebekah receives a Blessing to be the mother of thousands of millions! Also that her seed would inherit everything from those who hate her and her seed! These promises are confirmed earlier to Abraham in Genesis 22:17. There God promises Abraham that his seed would number as the stars of Heaven and as the sand under the sea! The servant of Abraham Put was faithful to find Isaac his bride Rebekah. Abraham was too od to travel so he sent his trusted servant. Just as “Put” was faithful to carry the message of another so God has put you in a place to carry the message of salvation to the lost! We see the genealogies of Abraham listed in Matthew chapter one but notice the are listed forward to Christ! The genealogy does not end with Christ but to all those who receive Christ! Just as God is Faithful to the Jews through thousands of years of history He will be faithful to you just as sure as the nation of Israel stands today! Even to possess the inheritance of your enemies! Our enemies have not claimed their inheritance through Christ yet ! Jesus commanded us to love our enemies! Not to endorse their wickedness but to point them to Christ! We share the Blessings of Christ with them even though they hate us! Love covers a multitude of sin!
