It is my great desire to reform my subjects, and yet I am not ashamed to confess that I am unable to reform myself! Peter the Great (1672-1725), Emperor of Russia

Blasphemy! John 5:22
Jesus words: “For the Father judges no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son.” Comment: The word judgment means to divide or separate based upon the law to either condemn or aquit. Redemptive judgment is not based on breaking the law for we have all sinned but on God’s acceptance and forgiveness through his only Son Jesus Christ! God has committed all judgment to his only Son because his son paid the price for our sin on the Cross! In Chapter 5 of John we see the Jews wanted to kill Jesus because he broke the Sabbath healing a man on the Sabbath! Also Jesus told the religious leaders that all judgment was rendered unto him by his Father! The Jewish leaders were inflamed because they saw Jesus elevated to the position of God! We have previously discussed the one unpardonable sin which is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit! Jesus is part of the Trinity! Jesus is the only part of the Trinity that can save you! Blasphemy is rejecting Jesus Christ as your Savior! If you reject the only one that can save you judgment to Hell follows! Jesus is judge of the living and the dead! Jesus did not die for himself! He was without sin! God died for you! Salvation is so important to God that Jesus commanded us to go out into the whole world and preach the Gospel! The good news! If Evangelism was top priority for Jesus what should it be for us? Believer’s highest calling and top priority should be Evangelism above everything else! If in the end of our lives here on earth our future is dependent on what we did with Jesus Christ and our Heaven or Hell depends on Jesus judgment of us then what is more important than reaching people for Christ! I have done some gambling early in my life but why do people gamble with their eternity? This life on earth is very short but eternity is forever! Your decision about Christ will affect you in the here and now and in eternity! Only a fool would say no the Christ! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com
Love & Betrayal! Isaiah 53:3
Greek Translation: “He was despised and rejected of maimed and crippled men; a man maimed by sorrows and grief; and we hid it were our faces from him; he was despised like Emperor Claudius who was poisoned by his wife Agrippina so her son Nero could assume power.” Comment: There are four English words translated from the Greek that shed light on this scripture. The words men and man comes from the Strongs #376 which means crippled or maimed! The Strongs root word for Strongs #376 is Strongs #303 which means reversed! That is the condition of man in the Garden of Eden was reversed! From life to death! From health to sickness! The next word aquainted is Strongs #3045. This word means fat! Jesus was surrounded by sorrows like a fat man surrounded by his fat! Dead men needed life but instead rejected him! Man maimed by sorrows and grief hid their faces from him? The word esteemed is the Roman name Claudius. This is Strong’s number 2803. The name Claudius means crippled! Just like Claudius Jesus was betrayed by those he loved! Judas went for the money! Peter denied him three times! All his disciples abandoned him and even His Father! Nothing has changed in the Centuries following including the 21st Century! Men maimed by sin reject him and are perishing without him! Marxism is responsible for 100 million deaths! Darwinism with the followers like Hitler for hundreds of millions of casualties! How about Islam over 1400 years! Hundreds of millions of deaths! However Christ has wrought a change in civilization with 1/3 of the world following him! Jesus will restore your soul, mind and body! If you embrace an ideology that opposes Christ your doom is sure! Christ was maimed for us to deliver us from sin! Why should you reject the redemption effort of God’s only Son Jesus Christ? Jesus can reverse your condition if you let him do so! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com
War on Women! Revelation 12:13
We know from reading our Bible that war was started in Heaven! When the angel Lucifer who became Satan rebelled against God he and 1/3 of the Angel’s who followed Lucifer in Heaven in the rebellion were cast out of Heaven into the earth! So now the war continues in the earth! This constant war on earth will stop with Christ’s second coming! Why does Satan have a war on women? Why did he sweat Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden? Because she would produce a seed that would crush the head of the serpent! Satan knew he had to stop this seed which would produce a rival that would defeat him! Salvation has come through the Jew! Christ born into the earth through the Jew! Now Satan has to also persecute the Jews and the Christians! Who replaces the 1/3 of the fallen angel’s that were removed from Heaven? Remember Lucifer was the praise leader of Heaven! Facts show us that 1/3 of the earth’s population are Christian! So the believers on earth replace the fallen angel’s that vacated Heaven! As long as women produce a seed in the earth that could potentially become Christian he will continually find ways to thwart the families! Like divorce and abortion! Homosexual promotion is also a war on women! Kill the seed while it is in the womb! Then to politicalize abortion so as to paint a good picture of death as a woman’s right or choice? Then to use millions of our tax dollars to promote abortion? Why? To kill the offspring so they could never populate Heaven as Satan’s replacements! The battle between good and evil rages on! Everyone has to make a choice about which side you are going with? God through His Son Jesus Christ has paid for our sin on Calvary! If you reject His redemption what hope is there for you? God can forgive every sin except the rejection of His Son! Why? Because that is the only one who can save you! Everything you put your trust in on earth will fail you one day! My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness! How about you? James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com
Reproach of Men! Isaiah 51:7
“Listen unto me carefully that you understand to discern and know righteousness. For my people are those who know my heart and inner soul of my law. Fear not the shameful displeasure of men neither be broken or despaired of their sinful rebuke.” Comment: The true commentary is we all initially opposed God! Those that have repented understand His righteousness because they understand His forgiveness! Once you understand you have sinned against God you understand His righteousness! Your night brings His light into your life! Those that live in and promote evil do not understand their error and God’s standard! God’s standard is described in your Bible but those that reject His Word reject God Himself! As described in Isaiah sinners will try to shame you and rebuke you for taking the God standard! They will sue you and drag you into court as they did with the Colorado family who refused to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple! Since Jesus is not around to spit in His face, mock Him, plant a crown of thorns on Him, whip Him bloody and nail Him to a Cross they only have you His follower to persecute! Remember on the Cross Jesus asked His Father to forgive them for they know not what they do! Why could not Jesus have forgiven them? Jesus had not yet completed His redemptive work on the Cross! After Jesus death and resurrection the way was open for His persecutors to repent! It would not be smart to reject the only God who can forgive you your sin! I can suffer the reproach of men but I could never survive the reproach of God on Judgment Day unless my Judge was my Savior! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com
First & Last! Isaiah 44:6
Hebrew Translation: “Thus saith the Lord the Divine Authority of Israel, who was not elected by men but created men has ransomed and released you the Lord of the Armies of Heaven and His Angels. I am the first in place, time and rank, and I am the last following behind my creation with redemption and judgment; beside me there is no Holy, Righteous and True God.”
Resurrection! Matthew 27:52-53
The word resurrection literally means to quit one’s previous position and to rise up! We need a spiritual resurrection and a physical resurrection! Jesus said we must be born again! We had no control over our physical birth and no control over our physical death unless we chose suicide! Without Christ we wake up everyday in our previous position of sin! Nothing seems to change except things get worse! Through Christ we quit this position and move into righteousness! That is we are made right with God! We wake up with a spiritually resurrected body and the promise of a physically resurrected body! It is interesting that when Jesus died on the Cross the graves were opened up by an earthquake and many of the saints arose! Notice in verse 53, they came out of the graves after the resurrection! When sin has been paid for people get free! I spent a few years in India and learned some of the aspects of the Hindu religion! The Hindus suffer from many bondages and superstitions based upon their Theology of God! One particular destructive belief about God is the Doctrine of reincarnation! Not the incarnation but reincarnation! They believe if you sin or are a bad person in your next life you could be a bug, rat or a snake or something awful. There is no remedy and you are locked into this condition due to your sin! They have respect for bugs and rats because they could have been a former family member! If fact in the Hindu Temples they feed rats and snakes milk and give them respect! Lucky critters! So they believe their sin is punished forever into the next generations whom could be a bug, snake, cow or a human never to come up in life! They make no effort to improve their life because their lot is permanent! It was very hard to improve their life under these beliefs! The incarnation is very different from the reincarnation! God taking on our sin who was without sin to deliver us from evil. God becomes man to take the very sin that separates us from God! If reincarnation were true and Jesus was just another human and took on the sin of the whole world he would have been resurrected as Satan! But Jesus was God and only that sacrifice would have been acceptable to God the Father! His son was the key to redemption! When Jesus was raised from the dead the saints were raised with Him! The resurrection is probably the most important aspect of our Faith! It is also based on historical facts! The next time you see a bug crawling across your floor you have my permission to step on it! What we believe about God determines our outlook and attitude about life here on earth and after! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com
Sequel to Judas Iscariot
Remember in the previous blog posting I asked you some questions about Judas Iscariot? One of those questions was why did Jesus not cast the devil out of Judas Iscariot? Jesus cast seven devil’s out of Mary Magdalene! Well, you say the plot to betray Jesus would have been spoiled! It says in the Gospel of Luke that Satan entered Judas! The Prince of devil’s entered Judas! The Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Darkness have an order of rank! The problem for Jesus is that He will not cast Satan out of Satan! You will still have Satan left! It would also preclude eternal judgment for Satan! Jesus made a way for God to enter us and dwell in us! The Holy Spirit secures us until Christ returns for us! Remember the lunatic that had a legion of devil’s? Jesus cast them out into the pigs! No doubt if any of us had a legion of devil’s in us we would also be a lunatic! However this nut was not beyond redemption yet Judas was? My Bible says the love of money is the root of all evil. Not money but the love of it! From the drug dealer to the Ponzi scheme on Wall Street! Judas was in love with money! He loved money to the point of betraying God! Welcome to the ministry! This opened the door for Satan the Chief of all demons to enter Judas! Even thought he repented it did no good! The cries of Hell are not so much about the heat and fire but there is no possibility of redemption from it! We should be reminded of the rich man and Lazarus! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com
Last Supper 1 Corinthians 11:24-25 (Greek Translation)
Verse 24; “And when Jesus had prayed over the meal and broke and divided the bread He said, “Take eat; this is my human body which is broken for you, this do in remembrance, in recollection, in repetition, to know again and recall of me.” Verse 25; “After the same manner Jesus took the cup after the evening meal and said, “This cup is new which is not impaired by time or use and is a divisor will in my atoning blood and as often as you drink it come to know me again.” Comment: Why do we take Communion? The Lord has instituted it according to His Word! Human nature tends to forget! When we honor someone it is usually in memory of the past. However the Hebrews or the Jews have a very different perception of the word remembrance! The Jews look at the word remembrance as his presence is still with us! At the Seder meal the Jews have an empty chair seated for Elijah! Jesus is with us today! I will never leave you nor forsake you! Remember Jesus has set the Communion Table before you as an invited quest! Your sin required the Table be set! You did not pay anything for the Table or the meal. You were invited even though you were unworthy! Jesus is personally sharing a meal with you! He is present with you! Why would you turn down a meal you did not pay for and did not deserve and made no sacrifice for? This meal purchased your freedom from sin, death and Hell yet you will not partake? His broken body and shed blood remind us that the Cross was very costly to God and His Son for the redemption of your spirit, soul and body! Pastor Oscar Cope, Mount Vernon Baptist Church, Fairburn, Georgia.
Worship The Right Way! 1 Samuel 13:
Saul was the first King of Israel. He was appointed and anointed by Samuel the Priest of Israel. Saul won a lot of military victories but lost the Spiritual victory! If you lose this victory you lose everything! Saul worshiped the wrong way! He tried to do the Priest’s job! Do not try to worship without the Priest! Jesus is our High Priest but we also have an earthly Priest! Jesus had an earthly Priest and his name was John the Baptist! He prepared the way for Jesus! Your earthly Pastor or Priest prepares the way for you to meet Jesus! Through Jesus you worship the Father! Please do not let your earthly Priest live on locust and wild honey! Your tithe supports your Pastor! You honor your High Priest by honoring your earthly Priest! Give your tithe do not be a fake worshiper! Judas stole the tithe! Saul was in great danger surrounded by the Philistine armies! Samuel was separated from him so he offered the sacrifice for worship! Caiaphas the High Priest of Jerusalem felt threatened by Jesus so he unknowingly offered the true sacrifice for the redemption of man! God Himself! The earthly Priest arranged for the redemption of man! Why we worship and how we worship and who we worship is very important! We worship God alone but understand God became man to establish His Kingdom here on earth! God uses men and women to build His Church! He chooses earthly men and women to lead His Church towards Heaven on earth! Enlist in His Army and follow your leader here on earth! Find a Church this Sunday and worship Him! Thankyou.
