John to the seven churches which are in Asia; grace be unto you, and peace, from which is and which is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his Thrown. Comment: The seven churches in Asia Minor were not the only congregations there! They were the nearest churches to John who was exiled on the island of Patmos. The phrase “from which is and which is to come”, refers to Jesus Christ. Grace and truth comes through Jesus Christ. Where some controversy can come is the phrase, “Seven spirits who are before his Throne”. Some believe these are angels! However the problem here is the word used is not angels but spirits! The word spirits, Strongs #4151, translates breath of God or the mighty rushing wind of God! This leads me to believe this was the Holy Spirit part of the Trinity! Remember the Holy Spirit was already sent to the church at Pentecost! Jesus said I must go back to my Father to send the Holy Spirit! Where is the Holy Spirit sent from? Heaven! From the Throne of God where He resides! Remember the Holy Spirit is not a created being like humans and angels! However the Holy Spirit resides in created beings like me and you! Why? For God’s purposes! Remember Lucifer who became Satan and 1/3 of the angels rejected God and His Holy Spirit! God does use angels like Gabriel and Michael and are his servants! They have a choice just like we do! Some believe these spirits are the gifts of the Holy Spirit! The Catholics believe there are 7 gifts and the Protestants believe there are 9 gifts! Judgment Seat of Christ! Isaiah 16:5
700 B.C. Hebrew Translation: “And with mercy with forgiveness of sins shall the Royal Throne be established with faithfulness and stability: and he shall sit upon it in truth, firm and faithful in the Tabernacle of David the dwelling place of his family, judging by punishing the wicked and legitimizing the righteous, and seeking judgment by rendering a judicial verdict and hastening righteousness by doing the right thing morally and legally.”
Judgment Seat of Christ! Isaiah 11:3
(Hebrew Translation) “The Spirit of the Lord shall make Him of quick understanding distinguishing between good and evil, also the spirit of council commanding and executing the will of God with might and discerning knowledge prompted by the spirit with reverence of the Father recognizing He is all powerful.” Comment: Do you see why the Father renders all judgment to the Son? There are two judgments and Jesus presides over both! The Judgment Seat of Christ and the Great White Thrown Judgment! The Judgment Seat of Christ is where all believers go after death! After death we go immediately to this court! The Great White Throne Judgment is where all unbelievers go. Everyone will get a fair hearing in the court and judgment in righteousness is rendered. We as believers are pardoned from sin because we accepted the blood sacrifice for our sin. Jesus will either be your Judge or your Savior! The decision is up to you! From this verse in Isaiah we see Christ knows everything about us! We cannot hide our sickness from Him! God knows our every thought and action! No excuses and no escape! Why should we want to escape His love? We can hide from men but not God! If every human knew this about Christ crime would stop overnight! My Bible says if we will confess our sin He is faithful and just to forgive us our sin. To confess and repent of sin means to turn your back on sin never to return! When you die your decision about Christ is locked in forever! That is a long time compared to this short life on earth! Decisions matter! Do not play the lottery and gamble your eternity away! Looking Forward! Matthew 25:31-34
When the Son of man shall come in His Image and Character with Splendor And Brilliance with His Holy Angles then He shall sit upon the Throne of His Glory! And before Him shall be gathered all the races of mankind and He shall cast out the wicked and abominable as the Spiritual Leader of the flock. He will divide the sheep from the goats! He shall set the Sheep on the right hand giving them equal honor as to Himself! He will set the goats on His left hand! Then shall the King of the people say unto them on His right hand, Come, my Father shall dwell upon you and you will be heir of the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world! Centralized Worship! Deuteronomy 12:5
The place God shall choose is the Prophetic reference to God’s selecting one place in the Promised Land for a fixed central sanctuary to which Israel would worship in. This was necessary since the people would no longer be camped around a portable Tabernacle, but would be dispersed into the towns of Canaan. The New Testament version of this would be Hebrew 10:25 where it says,” Not forsaking the assembly of ourselves together as the matter of some is; but exhorting one another and so much the more as you see the day approaching. ” Private devotions and worship is important but remember that worship right now around the Throne of God in Heaven is public worship! This worship consists of billions of Saints, Angels and the 24 elders surrounding Christ and the Father! There will be no Lone Rangers in Heaven! No hermits! Jesus visited the Temple in Jerusalem often and so did Paul! In an NFL football game you can be a spectator or sit on the bench or you could play on the field! Which are you? Things are supposed to be done on earth as it is in Heaven! Jesus said where two or three are gathered in my name there will I be! Public worship here on earth is dress rehearsal for Heaven! Belief In God Equals Righteousness! Genesis 15:6
This verse is believed by some to be the key verse of the entire Old Testament. It is an important witness to the doctrine of justification by faith and to the doctrine of the unity in believers in both dispensations. Abraham’s faith was accounted to him for righteousness before he was circumcised and more than 400 years before the law was given to his descendants. Therefore neither circumcision nor the law had any part in Abraham’s righteousness. Paul proves that Abraham’s faith was not merely confidence in God nor simple obedience to God’s command, but that it was indeed faith in the promise of redemption through Christ. (Romans 3:21-22, 4:18-25; Galatians 3:14). The word, “belief” is from the Hebrew root word “Aman.” My favorite translation of this word is as follows; A secure nail that finds a solid place to grip. Like a nail in a cross! Now go to Isaiah 22:23. It reads as follow; And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place, and he shall be for a glorious throne in his father’s house. Moon Under Her Feet ! Revelation 12:1
The arabs at Kaaba worshipped 360 idols. When Islam came along in about 650 A. D, , they took their highest idol and worshipped it as Allah. The idol Hubal which is a lunar diety was thought to have powers of divination is identical in origin to Allah. Their religious symbol is the crescent moon. Notice in the Book of revelation, Chapter 12, verse 1, that the moon was under her feet. Going on to verse 5 notice what it says, ” And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule the nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up to God, and to his throne.” Christ will have dominance over every false religion which is prophetic and reality!
