How can you identify the apostate church today? By their promotion of homosexuality including not speaking against this sin! We are having many church splits here in America because of this issue! Witness of the Jews! Isaiah 61:9

Comment: Salvation has come to the earth through the Jew! We need to be reminded of this because if forgotten history has shown us that even the church has been guilty of the persecution of the Jews! Yet congregations are very seldom reminded of this? If we are not taught the whole truth and nothing but the truth then error can enter into the church! The world will never have any problem persecuting the Jews! Did you ever observe that a right theology by the church leads to the persecution of the Jews and the church! Bad theology leads to the church persecuting the Jews! Jesus a Jew was persecuted by the Jews not because he was a Jew but because he claimed to be God! Would the Messiah not be God? The 1st Century Jews knew the scriptures but they believed their Messiah would be a world political leader who would conquer the Romans and the world! Much like the Anti-Christ will do in the future here on earth! The true Messiah conquers through love! A sacrificial love demonstrated on the Cross! So the Jews ignorantly offered up the sacrifice that would save the world! A Jewish sacrifice offered up by the Jews! Many Jews will turn to Christ during the 7 year Tribulation period in history! The Jewish Anti-Christ will set up his world reign from the re-built Jewish Temple at Jerusalem! The False Prophet will set up his co-reign with the Anti-Christ at Rome! The False Prophet will be the one world religious ruler! My guess is it will be Islam! The Church will have been raptured by then! When the Anti-Christ proclaims he is God the Jews recognize their error! Jesus said many false Christ’s will come! A Jew who hates the Jewish Messiah has been deceived! Do You Love Me? John 21:15-17
Greek translation: “Peter do you love me unselfishly to the point of sacrificing yourself for me more than these fish? Peter do you understand God’s love towards men even though they are His enemy? Yes Lord, I know I am your friend. Then shepherd, guard and protect my sheep. Then Jesus says a second time to Peter, “Do you love me to the point of sacrificing yourself to me and my work here on earth? Peter replied you know I am your friend. Jesus replied a third time, Peter are you my friend? Peter was grieved for Jesus asked him a third time and Peter replied, “Lord you know all things and you know I am your friend.” Jesus said to him then shepherd, protect and guard my sheep.” Comment: Two very different Greek words are used for the English word love in these passages of scripture! They are agape and phileo! Initially Peter did not understand God’s love Like most of us when we first come to Christ initially He becomes our friend! Peter probably thought since he betrayed Jesus just before the Cross three times Jesus needed to ask him about his commitment three times? Actually in Jewish Hebrew culture when something is said three times it is complete and not necessary to repeat anymore! Peter though because of his past he could be no more than just a friend! Could God forgive me? Peter answered this question later in his life as he was the leader of the Jerusalem church! Then later he was crucified upside down on a cross in Rome! Jesus was more than a friend to those 21 Coptic Christian men who were beheaded by ISIS last year! Peter finally understood God’s love for him! I have been a Christian for 45 years yet still with each new revelation I understand more of his love for me! Will we totally understand His love for us? After our resurrection from the dead we will learn more! During the millennium we will understand more of His love! We understand enough to feed His sheep here on the earth! Hour of Temptation! Revelation 3:10
Greek Translation: “Because thou has kept the spoken word of my cheerful endurance, I will also keep thee from the hour, time and season of one’s virtues which shall come to pass upon all the world specifically the Roman Empire, to try them that dwell on the whole earth.” Comment: The Greek word for our English word “world”, used here refers to the Roman Empire. From the Roman Empire the temptation is spread into the whole earth. So what temptation is Jesus keeping you from that is spread to the whole earth from the Roman Empire? The temptation to deny Christ! The world at this time in history was the Roman Empire! They had conquered most of the known world! Jesus and all the disciples except John and many of the early church Father’s were martyred by the Roman Empire! The Apostle John at the time of the writing of this Book of Revelation was exiled on the Isle of Patmos working as a slave in a stone quarry because of Caesar’s sentencing of John! Christian persecution of the Church began in 64 A.D. with Nero and the great fire of Rome. The persecution of the Church ceased in 313 A.D. with the Edict of Milan with Emperor Constatine. It has been estimated that there were at least 100 thousand martyrs during this period. Remember in previous postings we talked about the unpardonable sin? What was blasphemy of the Holy Spirit? Remember to mock one part of the Trinity is to mock all. The unpardonable sin was to deny Jesus! God can forgive every sin except denying Jesus because He is the only one who can forgive sin! Remember the 21 Coptic Christians who were beheaded by ISIS last year? In their hour of temptation they did not deny Jesus! Rome became Christian under Emperor Constatine and became the Holy Roman Empire! Jesus knew what the believers were going to face under Roman Rule for 200 years! He was preparing them for the hour of temptation! So how did the preparation come about for the hour of temptation for the whole earth? When Roman Empire became Christian all the roads they had built throughout their entire Empire were used to take the Gospel to all the known world! I will give you a historical quote on the Roman Empire from Wikipedia: “By means of European Colonialism following the Renaissance, and the descendant states, Greco-Roman and Judaeo-Christian culture was exported on a world wide scale, playing a crucial role in the development of the modern world.” Now where are we at 21 Centuries later today? The pressure upon Christian culture today is to deny Christ! The popular culture, Hollywood, liberal media, atheistic teachings such as evolution, abortion promoters, white supremacy haters, anti-colonialism, gays, lesbian, and transgender promoters all apply pressure against us to deny Christ! Even in the church the denial of Christ exists! Many believers do not tithe their income! Many make a 7 day work week and skip Sunday services! Worship of money over God! The list goes on but we can either deny Christ one small step at a time but when push comes to shove and you have to make a choice between your life or Christ God’s grace will not be their to confess His name! Money & Evil Isaiah 45:1-4
Hebrew Translation: Verse 1 “Thus declares the Lord to His set apart anointed, to Cyrus whose right hand I have conquered to subdue Gentile Nations before him; and I will loose the loins of idol Kings to open before him the two leafed gates and the gates shall not be shut.” Verse 2 “I will go before you and make the large swollen prideful, upright, lawful and honest.” Verse 3 “And I will give you the treasures of falsehood, ignorance, blindness and judgment and the hidden riches of secret places, that thou may discern and understand that I the Lord which proclaim thee by thy name and the great God of Israel.” Verse 4 “For Jacob my servant’s sake and Israel my chosen. I have proclaimed thee by thy name; I have surnamed thee though thou has not understood me.” Comment: God has enabled King Cyrus the Persian King or Iranian King to conquer the surrounding nations including Babylon to take all their wealth to return the Jews back to Israel from 70 years captivity to rebuild the Temple and the city at Jerusalem! All was paid for by King Cyrus to free them from their captivity! My Bible says the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the righteous! (Proverbs 13:22). Remember the Jews were taken captive by the Babylonians because they had become wicked! All the Temple treasures were taken and the city of Jerusalem was burned down! After their repentance during their 70 year captivity the treasures of wicked nations were used to return them to Israel. Cyrus also returned all the Temple treasures that were taken to Babylon! This cycle repeats itself! Then remember the Temple was destroyed again in 70 A.D. by the Romans! Jesus predicted this in 30 A.D. The city was burned, the Temple destroyed and the treasures hauled back to Rome along with 100 hundred thousand Jewish slaves! The treasures and free labor was used to build the Roman Colosseum. Christians were martyred in this Colosseum. So the Jews and the Christians were both persecuted! Today Israel stands as a vibrant prosperous nation! America a gentile nation defends her! Jesus said that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter Heaven! So why strive to be rich? Christmas Message from the Martyred! 150 A.D.

Gays and Abortion! 2 Kings 23:7-10
King Josiah of Judah was a reformer! Previous Kings or political leaders established evil as the acceptable behavior! Jerusalem and the surrounding country was polluted with high places of idol worship and wicked lifestyles! Josiah took action and destroyed the high places and the wicked priests! Verse seven says he broke down the houses of the wicked sodomites that were located by the House of the Lord! Homosexual prostitutes set up their operations next to the House of Worship! Today in America they are in the House of the Lord! They are ordained priests in the church! It goes on in verse 10 that Josiah destroyed the Temples of Moloch! Moloch was a god that required child sacrifice for worship! The Altar of Abortion sacrifices millions of children in America! The children are murdered with our tax money! The decline of America that Obama wants is coming to pass! It will be replaced with a one world government as our Bible predicts! There will be no borders for sovereign states! Then as the anti-christ and the false prophet control the world they will require worship from you! Your choice will be worship or death! Who will the false prophet or world religious leader be? Who will be the anti-christ be? We know from scripture that the anti-christ will rule from Jerusalem and the false prophet from Rome! We know the anti-christ will be a Jew and will be a homosexual! I believe the false prophet will be a Muslim! A Jew and a Muslim will rule the world for 7 years! Then Christ returns to earth to rule the earth for a thousand years! First Christian Martyr in Colosseum? 107 AD
The first Christian martyr in the Roman Colosseum was Ignatius the Bishop of Antioch! Remember the believers were first called Christians at Antioch! Emperor Trajan forced the Christians to choose between the pagan Roman gods and death! Sounds like Islam? Islam came along about 550 years later. The Colosseum is the largest Amphitheater ever built! Where did the Romans get the money and labor to build it? Rome usually got their money from their conquests! This was no exception. They got their money and labor to build this huge project from Israel. The Roman/Jewish war from 66-70 AD resulted in the destruction of the Jewish Temple and the slaughter of tens of thousands! Rome destroyed the Jewish Temple and took all the gold back to Rome! They also brought back one hundred thousand Jewish slaves that built the Colosseum! Remember Jesus predicted some 40 years earlier that not one stone would stand on the Temple grounds! How did this happen? When the Romans burned the Temple the heat from the fire melted the precious metals and flowed down through the foundation stones! So the Romans took down every block of the walls looking for the gold! Ignatius was thrown to the lions in the Colosseum! Then thousands of Christians followed him in history at the Colosseum! History has shown us that when Jews are persecuted Christian persecution will follow! The good news is that about 350 years later Rome became the Headquarters for the Christian Faith!
