Will a Snake Bite Twice? Isaiah 26:10

Verse 10; Let favor with mercy and kindness be shown to the wicked who are haters of God and men yet they will not learn righteousness but act wickedly and will not behold with learning and understanding the Majesty of God.” Comment: To the righteous everything is righteous and to the wicked everything is wicked! This describes two very different state of minds! The righteous can accept and do righteousness but the wicked cannot! The three wise men shared the good news about the King of the Jews being born but Herod could not accept it! Why? The wicked mind cannot receive anything good! Herod felt threatened that his power and authority would be taken away so he tried to kill the child! So innocent babies were thrust thru with the sword in Bethlehem! Abortion thru executive order! This explains why salvation will not be accepted by everyone! Even God’s motives are questioned! This is what happens when you make yourself God! The rejection of God can be as simple as saying Happy Holiday instead of Merry Christmas! It can be as serious as President Obama ordering the IRS to audit Christian conservatives tax records! Today we have a Christian and Jewish friendly President Trump! The anger focused on Him has to do with his Christian Faith and the support of Christian values! The battle between good and evil rages on through every generation! Which team are you on? Our job and commission is to take the Good News into every culture and every nation understanding not all will accept God’s Mercy! You plant the seeds and let God sort this out! Remember Paul? Remember the thief on the Cross? Then Lord remember me! At one time opposed to Christ and all that He is! Now today a crusader for Christ living with no other purpose but to spread the Good News and the favor of God to men! Signs of Jesus Second Coming! Matthew 24:9-10

Verse 9 “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and kill you and you shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.” A report yesterday said 90 thousand Christian’s were killed in 2016! These numbers are beginning to equal or exceed the early church persecutions! Is Jesus screening out the fakes before His return? That is those still standing? In the next verse 10 as a consequence many shall leave the Faith! Today in America i can skip Sunday services and cheat on my tithes and no one will know except God! However if i have to choose Christ or my life this is a very different test! Most will serve Christ if the benefits are good such as an income tax deduction and a favorable view from friends and family. What Jesus said would come before His second coming is here and also coming to America! We need to make up our minds today what we would do when this comes so we can be prepared! Iraq 1941

The Farhud pogrom on Jews in Iraq–June 1941. It was followed agitation by the Mufti Haj Amin al-Husseini, perpetuated by a pro-Nazi Arab mob, led by Al_Muthanna club’s al-Futuwwa Arabic-Islamic Fascist paramilitary group. Iraqi soldiers were among the first attackers. Jews were killed randomly, hundreds were injured, women and children were raped in front of their relatives, babies crushed, and children mutilated. The Farhud, the Mufti (who declared a Jihad), inspired Krystallnacht in Iraq, June 1st and 2nd, 1941. The two days of murder, looting, rape and mutilation, shattered this ancient community’s self-confidence, and swiftly led to the exodus of 90 percent of the Jews out of Iraq. Tribute To Captain David Lyons USAF 1985-2013

One of our very own Captain David Lyons was celebrated at the memorial service today in Colorado Springs at New Life Church. The military protocol was moving as hundreds of Air Force Academy Cadets and other military members attended the services along with New Life church members. Captain David Lyons was killed in action last month in Afghanistan by a suicide bomber. Other military members were killed and injured in the attack along with some NATO troops. David was a star athlete at the Air Force Academy and still holds the Idaho High School State record for the shot put throw. He was adopted and took on his adopted parents name. His wife Dana is also an Air Force Academy graduate and serves in the Air Force. It is so encouraging to see military members and church members support their fallen hero’s and their families. I want to give you a famous quote by Charles Province which was given at the memorial service. It reads as follows;” It is the Soldier, not the minister who gives us freedom of religion. It is the Soldier, not the reporter who gives us freedom of the press. It is the Soldier, not the poet who gives us freedom of speech. It is the Soldier, not the campus organizer who gives us freedom to protest. it is the Soldier, not the lawyer who gives us the right to a fair trial. It is the Soldier, not the politician who has given us the right to vote. It is the soldier who salutes the flag, Who serves beneath the flag, and Who’s coffin is draped by the flag!” Jesus said in John 15:13, “Greater love hath no man than this, That a man lay down his life for his friends!” The word friends translates from the Greek as neighbor. Remember in Mark Chapter 12 the scribes asked Jesus which is the greatest Commandment? Jesus answered, “”Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, soul, mind and strength. Then the second is to love thy neighbor as thyself. There is no greater Commandment than these!” David did lay down his life for his neighbor’s which represents millions of American’s and millions of people in Afghanistan! We must also recognize a distinction here. David laid down his life to save others! The suicide bomber laid down his life to destroy others! There are two separate eternities for each. There are two sides of the fence here. In one eternity David is joined with Christ the one he lived and died for! The suicide bomber who died to bring death to others is separated from God forever in the fires of hell! Two different outcomes created by two different choices! Choose this day who you will serve! Billy Graham’s Prayer For America!

Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know your Word says, Woe to those who call evil good; but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and have reversed our values. We have: Exploited the poor and called it the lottery, rewarded laziness and called it welfare, killed our unborn and called it choice, shot abortionists and called it justifiable, neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem, abused power and called it politics, coveted our neighbor’s possessions and called it ambition, polluted the air with profanity, pornography and called it freedom of expression and ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment. Arab Spring?

Muammar Gaddafi ruled Lybia for 40 years! Hosni Mubarak ruled Egypt for 30 years! During their reign no United States Consulate was ever attacked and no Diplomats murdered and their staff! When news of Gaddafi’s murder reached the State Department Hillary Clinton laughed and mocked Gaddafi as can be seen on video. Who is laughing now? Russia is smarter than our current Obama administration! Russia learned the hard lessons during their 10 years in Afghanistan with a loss of 50000. troops! Why does Russia support Assad? They have learned that in Islam you must have one strong Dictator to control all the Islamic radical terrorists that otherwise would rise up and create more chaos! The Obama policy has allowed the springing of thousands of radical terrorists that are now free to create chaos and a destabilizing force in the entire region. With Turkey military action against Syria and Iran pursuing atomic weapons we now have a formula for crisis! We need an American leader who will support our only Democratic ally Israel in the region and to understand the realities of Islam to stabilize the region!
