The Gospel for Dummies! John 3:16

There are only two types of sinners! Forgiven sinners and unforgiven sinners! Forgiven sinners on earth and in heaven and unforgiven sinners on earth and in hell. This is the Gospel in a nut shell. If you do not understand this then you do not want to or possibly you could apply for a dummy exemption but you still would be an illegal immigrant in heaven! However God’s immigration policy lets no one into heaven except by the blood of the Lamb! Jesus Christ! We only get cancelled by God if we cancel his Son! God Bless! James & Hamsa Sasse. Gospel Evangelism Responsibility!

Ezekiel 3:18 “When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die and thou givest him not warning, nor speaketh to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at thine hand.” Commentary: To know the truth will set you free! To know the truth and deny it to others is cruel! It is selfish! It contradicts you knowing the truth! Jesus said to go out into all the world and preach the Gospel! Are you ashamed of Jesus? He in the last day will be ashamed of you! My world is where I am right now! Not someday I will? When I get rich? When I retire? When my kids are well off? When my grandkids get established? When the culture no longer hates Jesus? When my parents approve? When the Republicans are in charge? When Caesar stops persecuting me? When I am ready? More education? When I complete college? After the war? After the pandemic? After Christmas? After Easter? When the time is right? I do not want to offend my neighbor? My friends? This is the day the Lord has made! Let us rejoice and be glad! You are only given today and tomorrow? If you do not share today your opportunity is lost! One day we will run out of todays! Do you want their blood on your hands? Only the blood of Jesus can cure their sin! Why would anyone want to hide the truth? Only Satan! You oppose Satan when you tell the truth! Jesus said I am the truth! The way! The life! Popular versus Scriptural Gospel!

1 John 2:27 Greek Translation: “But the anointing or the communication and receptivity of the Spirit of God which you have received of him abideth and remaineth as a preservative in you, and ye need not that any man teach you, but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it has taught you, ye shall abide in him.” Commentary: So who is your teacher? The Holy Spirit! Part of the Trinity! In the world the error is obvious! But what about in the church? The Holy Spirit will bring to remembrance a scripture that either clarifies what is taught or exposes a lie that contradicts the Word of God! I do not go around looking for a demon behind every bush! The scriptures disclose the demons! The Holy Spirit brings to remembrance a scripture either to confirm a truth or expose a lie! If you do not know the scriptures then the Holy Spirit has nothing to work with! I love my church but in the 21st Century church here in America we have two Gospels being preached! The politically correct or popular Gospel and the Scriptural model! The popular Gospel avoids our cultural war and pretends it does not exist! Evil is not called evil and evil is called good! Examples of scriptural avoidance are topics like homosexuality, abortion, gay marriage, transgenderism and lesbianism! Let me give you an example of what happened in a big church we attended in Colorado for three years. I still love this Pastor and pray for him everyday! This Pastor wanted to reach out to the gay community of our city so he met with them in a local coffee house. He reported back to us in our congregation the following Sunday that the gays told him they do not have physical sex with each other we just lust after each other! He was implying to us that they really do not sin! So what did the Holy Spirit do in me? He brought up the words of Jesus to me! Jesus said even if you look on a woman with lust it is still equal to having sex with her! I E-mailed our pastor about this scripture and he told me I know but we will talk about it later! Later never came! If you preach or teach a popular Gospel you will have to avoid a lot of scriptures! We live by the Word of God whether popular or not! At the Temptation Satan misquoted scriptures to defeat Jesus! Jesus said it is written! Your only defense and offense is what is written in your Bible! Do you know these scriptures? Another Gospel? Galatians 1:6

Greek Translation: “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him (Christ), that called you into the grace of Christ doing for you what you could never do for yourself but taking another foreign and strange doctrine rejecting Salvation through Christ.” Comment: What strange foreign doctrine was the Apostle Paul referring to that caused the Galatian church to be unequally yoked? A yoke is designed for two! So they were yoked not to Christ but to someone or something else! In this case in the 1st Century Paul was referring to Judaizers! These were Jews and Paul was also a Jew who wanted new believers in Christ to add circumcision and other religious rituals to their Salvation in Christ! I love the Mosaic Law however I cannot keep it and neither can you! The law showed us we need the Savior! Jesus fulfilled the law at every point showing us he was more than a man he was God! God took our law breaking nature and nailed it to a Cross! We should never be unequally yoked to the ideologies of this world that oppose scripture! Today in the 21st Century there are many ideologies that oppose Christ in our culture today! What are they? Drugs! Pornography! Gambling! Lottery! Darwinism! Islam! Hinduism! Buddhism! Sikhism! Abortion! Atheism! Gay Marriage! Homosexuality! Lesbianism! Transgenderism! Divorce! Secularism! The list goes on but just a few listed here that oppose Christ.  Any political ideology or religious ideology that opposes Christ should not be pulling along side you in your yoke! He That Overcometh! Revelation 2:11

Comment: Jesus repeated this over and over again to the church! He that overcometh I will give the crown of life! He that overcometh  will escape the second death! What does the word really mean? Let us go to the Greek root word. The word is “Nikao”. The word means to subdue and conquer! To have success in victory! The Greek root word also has a root word! It is the word “Niki”. You got it! It is the athletic foot wear company named Nike! It means conquest! If you are in the body of Christ and believe you will never have a fight with the devil in this life you are in denial! You are in “La La” Land! This life in your generation just as in all preceding generations is a battle between good and evil! You can try to ignore it but it will not go away! You can wish it away? You can try to isolate it away? You can try to spend it away? However you have to join a team and play! Your team can win but you must fight the good fight of faith and face your enemy! Jesus has given you the tools to overcome! To win the victory! His Word! His Spirit! His power! His love! We conquer in Christ’s name! Satan was conquered on the Cross! However in his stupidity he thinks he can still win! He will try to take as many down as he can in defeat! This week a young man went on a mission trip to a remote island where a remote tribe lived! He was martyred! Others will follow to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth! This missionary gave his all to take the Gospel into all the world! If I live my life sheltered, protected, financially secure, and die of old age in this condition I have wasted my life for nothing! The church of Jesus Christ is a conquering army! It is an offensive army! We have real sacrifices and we take some casualties in this war against evil! But we win and will eat of the Tree of Life forever! Remember you are using the blood of a martyr to conquer! The blood of God shed on a Cross for you! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

Holy Smoke! 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9

“In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ; who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power,” Comment: I do not know about you but I would not want to be wood for the fire! Jesus was placed on a wooden Cross and took the fire of hell to save you from the flames! Think about this! God took your hell and gave you heaven! He took your judgment upon himself! He took your sin and gave you forgiveness! What a deal! What fool would turn this down? Sadly most of the world will recognize their error at Christ’s second coming! They will wail and beat their bodies when they witness his second coming! Christ’s body was beaten for you! To reject this is serious! No one will miss Jesus second coming but many have missed his first coming! No one will be able to hide behind their sin anymore! Jesus second coming is not only to rule and reign over the earth for a thousand years but to judge those who have rejected him while living on earth! Christ’s judgment will be socialism on steroids! All those that rejected him will get equal treatment with the same outcome! Hell! Why? Because they rejected the only God who took their judgment upon himself for their sin! The church is not on the earth at this time they are in heaven! Those following Christ at his second coming are the believers following him back to earth! No army can stand against him! Jesus came as a lamb for the sacrifice but his second coming he comes as a lion! You will not be able to vote him out of office! You will not be able to vote another sinner into office to cover your sin! He is King of Kings and Lord of Lord’s! You will stand at the judgment seat of Christ naked with no covering to hide behind! No ideology that opposes him will stand the test of fire! Fire forever! If you have rejected Christ now is the time for you to stop playing the fool! Eternity is forever and this life is very short! If I were playing the lottery game I would buy the forever ticket that keeps me out of hell! If I were wrong about this it would not hurt me one bit! In fact it would help me live a clean life! But if you are wrong and Christ is true and all that he has written you will not be able to purchase enough fire extinguishers to put out the flames of hell! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

Why Suffer? Revelation 1:9

Greek Translation: I John, who also am among you a brother of the same womb (Born Again) and companion in tribulation. In tribulation of being broken, squeezed, crushed with the pressure of a burden upon my spirit in a confined space (Prison). And in the Kingdom of God under all circumstances with endurance towards people. I was in the isle of Patmos, for the Word of God and for the testimony being a witness, certifying and declaring Jesus Christ.  Comment: Suffering by the world brings death! Suffering by God has brought men Salvation! John suffered for a testimony of Jesus Christ! Suffering in Christ brings purpose in your life! To live is Christ and to die is gain! We have an interesting story about India. We spent two of our three years there on a remote mountain village named Yercaud in South India. They had an old English church up there that had the graveyard surrounding the church! I explained in a previous post why the British did this. Since I had to walk through the cemetery to get to the front door of the church I noticed some of the grave markers. There were two grave markers of a missionary couple from England that spent their whole life preaching the Gospel in India! But I noticed next to their graves was a little grave marker of a four year old girl. This was their daughter who died of malaria while ministering to the people of India! I wrote there names down and then inquired of the elders of the village if anyone knew about them? An old man in the village told me the story his grandfather told him many years ago. This couple had a powerful ministry bringing  hundreds of Hindus and Muslims to Christ! They had been appointed to a three year mission work to India. However after their daughter died there they spent the rest of their lives ministering in India! They decided their daughter’s death would not be in vain! Her sacrifice was not to be wasted! Jesus said, “This do in remembrance of me!” As we take the bread and the cup let us remember he did not let the cup pass from him! A sacrifice was provided to you for your Salvation!
