Wise Men! 536 B.C.

Zechariah 9:9 “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold thy King cometh unto thee; he is just, and having Salvation: lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.” Comment: Yes! Zachariah lived 5 centuries before our Messiah’s arrival yet he saw him coming! He saw Christ as many other prophet’s did with great detail hundreds of years before this event! Yet 2000+ years after Bethlehem many do not see him? The alternative to a wise man is a fool! There are no fools in Heaven! The fool has said in his heart there is no God! Many still deny God! Why? Pride! There are millions of little gods running around on planet earth trying to be God! The WANNABE’S of Hell! If you try to replace God you displace yourself away from God separated forever! You forfeit your place in Heaven! Two King’s are present at Christmas! King Herod and Jesus our King! The Kingdom of darkness and the Kingdom of light! No star is following us around! Zachariah looked forward and the wise men looked back! Both confirmed the truth of God’s Word! Do you want to be confirmed? Believe his word! Take Christ at his word! No More Excuses! Revelation 1:7

“Behold, he cometh with clouds, and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him, and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so. Amen” Comment: The word “wail”, in the Greek is the strongest form of the outward expression of inner grief! It means to beat one’s own body! At Jesus second coming why would the world grieve at his coming? Just as those who rejected him at his first coming so will some at his second coming! Now the man made plans of men supported by Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Atheism, every other religious excuse will come to an end! The false religions will be exposed by the Truth! Every political system that opposes Christ such as Socialism, Fascists, Communism, Darwinism, Nazism and every other Anti-Christ ideology will come to an end! No more hiding behind religious and political systems to promote your sin! Halloween is over and the masks are removed! Sin can no longer be worshiped! Now every knee will bow and every tongue must confess Jesus Christ is Lord! They now stand naked before God! They are striped naked before God! No more coverings! No more hiding! Remember at this time the Church has been raptured! The Saints are following Christ back to earth from heaven at his second coming! For the 1000 year reign of Christ on earth! The only one’s left on earth are those that have rejected Christ! The party is over! Judgment has come! Judgment starts in the House of God yet Christ has taken our judgment upon himself at the Cross! Do you want to try to take your own judgment? Yet many try? You will never be good enough and you have become the fool! Time is short and this life is very short but eternity forever! Are you greater than God? Burning Bush! Exodus 3:2

This is not a California wildfire! The bush the Angel appeared out of was burning yet not consumed? Some theologians believe this Angel was Christ! We have some other examples of this in our Bible! Remember Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego? The angry King threw them into the fiery furnace! They were in the fire but not consumed along with the 4th man believed to be Christ! It was the same Angel in the burning bush! Did you know the souls in Hell are not consumed by the fire! However they feel the flames forever! Remember the rich man and Lazarus? The rich man begged Lazarus who was a beggar while on earth to bring some drops  of water to cool his tongue!  To warn his family still living on earth of his plight! Interestingly when God is in the fire with you there is no burning on your body! I am not a cremation fan because fire represents judgment! In the Old Testament the sacrifices were no good unless the animal was completely consumed! God never allowed human sacrifices because man a sinner could never atone for his own sin! Only God sacrificing himself for us would be enough! Remember Jesus after he was crucified descended to the heart of the earth and preached to the captives! The fire did not touch them! One day soon at the judgment seat of Christ both the living and the dead will stand before Christ! Those who rejected Christ are taken into the Lake of Fire! Where the worm dieth not and the fire is never quenched! Would it not be better to be with Christ in the fire and protected than apart from him and burned forever? Only a fool would reject Christ! Credit Card Praise! John 5:43

Jesus did not come in his own name! He came from Heaven to earth in his Father’s name! Jesus told the crowd that you receive me not? However if another shall come in his own name you will receive him? Jesus whole walk on this earth was to give his Father the glory! What much of the world cannot stand is for you to come to them in Jesus name! If you tell the world my name is Frank, Sally or George they have no problem! But if you come to them in the name of Jesus all Hell breaks loose! Most people have a Visa or credit card. The bank that has given you the card has given you a loan or some credit! If you took the name of the bank off the credit card it would be worthless! You purchase by credit in the name of the bank! Your name on the card by itself would not even buy you a can of beans! Our power and authority does not come from our own name but from the name that is above all names! When we call on Jesus name it gets the attention of the Father just as a charge on your Visa gets the attention of the bank! Without the recognition of the bank or the recognition of the Father your request will be denied! The Father listens for the name of Jesus from your lips! Some people curse rather than praise Jesus! Do people go around cursing their bank? Your credit rating is all about you honoring your bank by paying back the loan! How much credit do you give Jesus for your life? How is your spiritual credit rating? Have you refused to give the credit for which he has paid out to you on the Cross for your sin? The debt was paid by him! Your debt! Blasphemy! John 5:22

Jesus words: “For the Father judges no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son.” Comment: The word judgment means to divide or separate based upon the law to either condemn or aquit. Redemptive judgment is not based on breaking the law for we have all sinned but on God’s acceptance and forgiveness through his only Son Jesus Christ! God has committed all judgment to his only Son because his son paid the price for our sin on the Cross! In Chapter 5 of John we see the Jews wanted to kill Jesus because he broke the Sabbath healing a man on the Sabbath! Also Jesus told the religious leaders that all judgment was rendered unto him by his Father! The Jewish leaders were inflamed because they saw Jesus elevated to the position of God! We have previously discussed the one unpardonable sin which is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit! Jesus is part of the Trinity! Jesus is the only part of the Trinity that can save you! Blasphemy is rejecting Jesus Christ as your Savior! If you reject the only one that can save you judgment to Hell follows! Jesus is judge of the living and the dead! Jesus did not die for himself! He was without sin! God died for you! Salvation is so important to God that Jesus commanded us to go out into the whole world and preach the Gospel! The good news! If Evangelism was top priority for Jesus what should it be for us? Believer’s highest calling and top priority should be Evangelism above everything else! If in the end of our lives here on earth our future is dependent on what we did with Jesus Christ and our Heaven or Hell depends on Jesus judgment of us then what is more important than reaching people for Christ! I have done some gambling early in my life but why do people gamble with their eternity? This life on earth is very short but eternity is forever! Darkness in 21st Century! Genesis 1:2

Hebrew Translation: “The earth was without breath, desolated, confused without purpose in obscurity, falsehood and ignorance was upon the face of the deep. And the breath of God moved upon the face of the waters.” Comment: Could this Bible verse at creation describe the 21st Century? All of these conditions manifest today in the 21st Century from no knowledge of God! No perception and understanding of His presence! No acceptance of His existence trying to run the planet without Him! Trying to run your life without Him! Like having all your modern appliances without electricity? Even though Christ exists today we try to live without Him? Living in deception! The lack of Christ is the source of ignorance that runs our world today! Same problem in all previous Centuries! Trying to exist before creation will not work! It did not work then and will not work today! Trying to live before creation is history repeating itself! Darkness upon the face of the deep! Many men of the 21st century are trying to live without God in the Garden of Eden! There are many fruits around but give me the one I should not eat! The results are the same! Separation from God! Separation from God is a voluntary choice! Getting back to Genesis is getting back with God! History has proven that we cannot live without God yet we still try? To chose the Light of Christ is also a voluntary choice! When will we get fed up with self and choose the light? Fools still say there is no God! Why not be a wise man for a change? Pride & Shame Proverbs 11:2

Hebrew translation: “When pride with it’s haughtiness, arrogance, rebelliousness, presumptive will taking authority from God in disobedience then shame comes: but with the lowly is wisdom in knowledge, intelligence, insight and judgment from God as your source.” Comment: The Bible says that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom! My Bible also says the fool says in his heart there is no God! The belief spectrum ranges from there is no God to there are millions of gods! Pride will always be the first cause of sin! Whether in the Garden of Eden or today in the 21st century pride is the root cause of evil. Remember Jesus humbled Himself even to death on the Cross! The international problems of today are the family problems of today! Pride is simply you making yourself God! You trust in yourself rather than God! How many billions of people get up every morning trying to outsource God? Trying to rob God of His sovereignty? Many say if I were God I would do things this way? But you are not God and neither am I. Let God do His job and you do your job! I learned this in the military! If every member does his or her job and does not try to do someone else’s job victory comes in battle! God owns the whole universe of heaven and earth! We belong to Him! One of God’s job’s was to fix our pride and sin! He made a way through His Son Jesus Christ! Accept His pardon and live for Him! Prayer is the best way to let God do His job! The Fool Has Said in His Heart——-Psalm 14:1

The fool has said in his heart there is no God! This is not all the verse but we will start here. So what is a fool? Do they just live in Washington D.C.? It means to be stupid, silly, dull as one taught by idols! We have a Television show named American Idol. An idol is man made then worshiped by man as God! In other words it is self-worship! A fool means to dishonor, come to nought, disgraceful, perverse, dishonorable, wicked and to fall away! Sounds like a Democrat? It also means to be dull, absurd and crippled! Handicapped! It also means to be fat! A fat head! Now the fool said in his heart! The heart is the immaterial inner self. It is the seat of the mind and the soul. It is the eternal part of us that will live beyond the grave! This is why Jesus said we must be born again! The eternal part of us must be transformed before death for whatsoever state that is at death continues on forever! That is why soul winning is urgent! It goes on to say they are corrupt meaning they are spoiled, decayed, perverted and come to ruin! They have done abominable works! That is to cause fear, disgust and are detestable! They are hostile towards all authority! None of them do good works! Good means to be kind and morally correct! What about those that claim they know God but do evil?
