Spirit + Truth = Worship

John 4:24: “God is a Spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” Commentary: Jesus says God is a spirit! Can we find God in a bottle? The word “Spirit”, in the Greek means an invisible wind or breath of God. God created this world with his breath. By the words he spoke through his breath. Some people bless God through their breath and some people curse God through their breath! Though our breath is the invisible part of man yet our character is determined by the words that come out of our mouth! Remember at Pentecost the Holy Spirit came as a mighty rushing wind! It was the wind that rolled back the Red Sea! Blessings or cursing come through our breath!  What spirit resides in man is revealed by his words! Since we are created in the Image of God we have breath like God! By our breath we either have the spirit of God or the spirit of Satan! Either a God like spirit or an evil spirit! Satan deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden with his breath! Now let us look at the other side of the equation. Let us look at the word “Truth” in the Greek. Remember what Jesus said in the Book of John? Jesus said my words are truth implying not all words are truth! If you want examples of lies just listen to the political debates! Here is a good definition of truth. Truth means the unveiled reality agreeing with the appearance! The reality pertaining to the appearance! The real deal! Transparency! No hidden agenda! No secrets! No sin! No double talk! No deception! Only truth! The Spirit of God took on flesh in the incarnation of his Son Jesus Christ who is truth! Remember when Jesus was put on the Cross and after he died on the Cross?  Many things happened! The veil in the Temple was split in two! Now transparency between God and man! No masks! The barrier of sin defeated! No hiding from God as in the Garden! God taking our sin upon himself! Dying for our sin! God sacrificing himself for our sin! His blood washing us white as snow! If we are to follow Christ then we sacrifice ourselves for others! People following Satan sacrifice others for themselves! With Satan you become the sacrifice! Then murder, stealing and killing sacrificing others for their gain! God is not that way! He gave himself for you! The right relationship in marriage is both sacrificing themselves for each other and together sacrificing themselves for God as God has sacrificed for them! Our sacrifices cannot save us but only God’s sacrifice! However sacrificing for others is God like! The Kingdom of God is a sacrificial system! So is the Kingdom of Satan but in opposite ways! Mercy + Grace = Salvation!

Luke 1:50  Greek Translation: “And his mercy or the relief from the misery and consequences of sin is on them that fear or reverence God from generation to generation.” Comment: This verse is part of Mary’s song of praise! We lived on mercy before grace came! His mercies endure forever! Jesus said blessed are the merciful for they will obtain mercy! Mercy is given to everyone! Mercy is a holding pattern until grace rescues us! It rains on the just and the unjust! We cannot earn the rain it is just there for us! Mercy does not require a response but grace does! Judgment only comes when we reject his grace! Mercy held me until the time when I received his grace through Jesus Christ! When I graduated from high school back in 1967 two of my classmates were killed in accidents before the year ended! Does that mean I was better than them? No! Mercy stayed me until I came to Christ! Mercy handed me off to grace! Remember after Jesus was crucified he went into the heart of the earth and preached to the captives! Mercy had held them there until Christ came to save them! You can reject mercy but not grace without consequences! The Old Testament Saints were secured by mercy until grace came! To reject Christ is judgment the opposite of grace! People reject the mercy of God everyday but not his grace! By grace you are saved and not of yourselves! Everyone gets mercy but the expiry date comes when you reject his grace! When you reject Christ! Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever! That is good news for the saved and the sinner! You cannot do the math without both factors! You already have the mercy so what are you going to do with his grace? James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

Rapture + Tribulation = ?

Revelation Chapter 8 Commentary: Why seven years? Why seven angels? Why seven trumpets? Why seven judgments? Why 1/3 of earth destroyed? Revelation chapter eight takes place after the Rapture of His church! These events are consummated after the rejection of God and His Christ by the inhabitants of earth much like in the days of Noah! His church is removed from the earth at this time! The millenniums of years of Salvation for men are now closed in history! The door of Grace has been concluded! The seven angels represent one day each of creation! The seventh day the Sabbath is included in this week! God worked six days and then he rested on the 7th day! America has come to the point where many are now working on the 7th day violating the Sabbath! Creation has been rejected by many millions of citizens here in America and has been replaced by the Theory of Evolution!  Many are the followers of the atheist Charles Darwin! The seven years of the tribulation and the seven angels represent one day of judgment for each day of the rejection of Creation! The altar in Heaven and the golden censer and the prayers of the saints are worship going on in Heaven! At this time worship of the true God has ceased in the earth! The seventh day of worship is no longer honored in the earth! The Saints have been removed! Each of the seven trumpets represent each of the seven days of creation! One trumpet blows for everyday of judgment to the earth for their rejection of Creation! Why is only 1/3 part of the earth destroyed rather than the whole earth? First Jesus is returning at his second coming at the end of the seven year Tribulation period! Second the present population of the Christians in the earth is 1/3 of the total world population! At the Rapture and the beginning of the seven year Tribulation 1/3 of the earth’s population will be removed! Those resources left behind by the Christians will be destroyed by God so that the unbelievers left on earth can not use those resources! The thirty minutes of silence in Heaven takes place after Christ opens the seventh seal! The inhabitants of Heaven now contemplate the close of Salvation on the earth and the judgments to be released! A moment of silence for the judged! Remember if we do not live to see these events then judgment for every human begins at physical death! So how do I escape! By taking and receiving the one who took your judgment on the Cross at Calvary! By honoring the God of Creation and rejecting the godless atheism of Evolution!  Right now today Jesus is either your Savior or judge! Which is it? James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com
