This scripture is very short and sweet until you examine the Hebrew root words. The Hebrew word is Strong’s number #8356. It means the political and moral support with a moral purpose! If this be destroyed what can the righteous do? More interesting is that this Hebrew word has another root word which is Strong’s #7896. This word means to put in place and apply morality! Remember among other things King David was a politician! Did you ever hear the milk toast Christian say it does not matter who I vote for? Why should I vote? We have separation of church and state! Really? The politicians write our laws! They appoint our judges all the way to the Supreme Court! If they are evil they appoint evil judges and legislate wicked laws! They decide how much money is to be taken from your paycheck! They decide what immigrants come into our country and from where! Are your neighbors illegal immigrants? If you voted for Obama he put in gay marriage by law! With the wrong politicians your Christian faith could be criminalized! This is nothing new! Jesus predicted the destruction of the Jewish Temple 40 years before it happened in 70 A.D. After the moral foundations were broken down the Temple was burned and destroyed along with Jerusalem in 70 A.D. One hundred thousand Jewish slaves were take to Rome and built the Roman Coliseum! When moral and political foundations are broken down what happens? Slavery! Then who was persecuted in the Coliseum for three Centuries? Christians! Anti-Semitism and Christian persecution are connected! The left cries separation of church and state! However at their convenience and benefit they help to merge the two for control of the church! The tax exemption 501c is the best example put in by a Democrat the then Senator Lyndon Johnson back in the 1950’s to mute the church from speaking about his illicit affair with another woman who was not his wife! The political speech of the pulpits of America has been controlled by the State! When it comes election time the Pastor’s across the United States are mute! The bully pulpit of America is long gone! I have suggested to Trump to get rid of the 501c! If the only reason I give to the church is for a tax deduction I am spiritually bankrupt! Hitler was democratically elected! The political foundations for America is determined how you vote! The moral foundations are determined by who you vote into office! The left will scream no religious litmus test for political office and then you end up with an atheist who will oppose your faith through legislation of laws and executive actions and appointment of judges! Who Was the Most Christian American President? If all you ever knew about this was what you were taught in a public(government) school in the United States you would not have a clue! You might think Lincoln or Washington but the most out spoken president about his Faith in God was Theodore Roosevelt! He was running for president in 1912 which is exactly 100 years from this year. He walked softly and carried a big stick! He was a rough rider horse calvary kind of guy. His favorite Bible verse was Micah 6:8. What doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God. Roosevelt was of the Dutch Reformed Church. He participated in missions work with his father, a noted philanthropist. He taught Sunday School classes during his four years at Harvard. He wrote for Christian publications. He called his bare-the-soul speech announcing his principles when running in 1912, “A Confession of Faith.” Later he closed perhaps the most important speech of his life, the clarion-call acceptance of the Progressive Party nomination that year, with the words, “We stand at Armageddon and we battle for the Lord!” He titled one of his books, Foes of Our Own Household(after Matthew 10:36) and another, Fear God and Take Your Own Part. He once wrote an article for The Ladies Home Journal, Nine Reasons Why Men Should Go to Church.” After Theodoore left the White House, he was offered University Presidencies but refused all and chose to become a Contributing Editor of The Outlook, a relatively small Christian weekly magazine. Strike one is the housing crash! Srike two will be the stock market crash! Strike three will be government default on debt! I hope the experts are wrong but this is their predictions. Dollar would then crash and then what? One world government with anti-christ as the leader? Rapure of the Church before the seven year tribulation period? Armies patroling streets because no police force? Rioting and looting as gangs go from house to house taking, looting and killing? How bad can it get? A government default would end all social security and federal retirement programs! How can we prepare for these events? Take our camper and C-rations and head for the hills? Our Trust in God and His provision for us must come above all else! Christ is Faithful to protect us from all evils! His promises to us are sure! We have a sure foundation that was established before the creation of the world! Before you or I came into this world He was and will be forever!
