Why are Young People Leaving Church?

The real reason according to the Pew Research Center Study in 2016 is revealed not by, prepared multiple choice questions and answers but by the write in answers young people gave in their own words! They responded that they no longer identified with any religious group because they no longer believe it was true! When asked why they did not believe, many said their views about God “evolved” and some reported a “crisis of faith.” Their six specific explanations included the following: 1.  Learning about evolution (Darwinism), when I went to college. 2. Religion is the opiate of the people. (Karl Marx Quote) 3. Rational thought makes religion go out the window.  4. Lack of any sort of scientific or specific evidence of a creator.  5. I just realized somewhere along the line that I really did not believe it. (Really? Your atheistic professors had no influence on you?) 6.  I am doing a lot more learning, studying and kind of making decisions rather than listening to someone else. (No one makes decisions in a vacuum) Comment: They question the existence of God? Why? The State education system promoting atheism! Atheists produce atheists! When you read the socialists work of the 19th Century like Marx, Engels, Lenin, Darwin, Neitzsche and others you will see that College students in America can quote all of them but they cannot quote the Bible? A news agency (Fox News), reported today that Pope Francis told a gay man that God loved him and that God made him gay? We all were made in the image of God but we cannot make God in our image! That is called idol worship! I have no problem with the Pope telling him that God loves him! Jesus the Son of God went through a bloody six hour crucifixion on a Cross for our sin! Jesus did not go to the Cross for us to retain our sin! In the old days people would say the devil made me do it! But today some say God made me do it! Blame it on God? If you read your Bible you will see that God did not make us sinners! We chose sin! Morality is about choices! God gave us a free will to chose right or wrong! Satan deceived the human family into choosing sin! God have us the remedy at the Cross! We cannot blame God for our sin? Put the blame where it belongs! On Satan! Why did Jesus tell us to rebuke Satan in His name? We are still responsible for sin but God has made a way of escape through the blood of His only Son Jesus Christ! We must repent of sin not blame it on God! Sometimes organized religion gets it wrong! That is why we must know the Bible cover to cover! In these last days you will be lead astray if you do not know the Word of God! If the Bible contradicts any religious leader then go with the Bible! Does not matter the cost to you! Jesus paid it all. Remember what Satan told Eve in the Garden of Eden? Surely God has not said you cannot eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil? You will not die! Guns Are Not The Problem!

Really? I was raised on a farm in Nebraska 50 years ago where weapons were owned by every farmer to protect their livestock from coyotes wolves and other predators! I learned to shoot a weapon and hunt when I was 10 years old! After moving to Colorado in the 1960’s I purchased my first rifle for hunting when I was 16 years old! Then we never had any school shootings! None across the United States! I remember one student got expelled from school for a week from smoking a cigar on school grounds! So 50 years ago millions of weapons were available to residents of America just as they are today! So something else has changed? Policemen were not murdered everyday on the streets of America like today? Remember policemen are armed with weapons and they are still murdered everyday on the streets of America trying to enforce the law! So what has changed? Something internally has changed in the American culture? I believe there a many reasons! The breakdown of the American family is a big one! No father in the home to guide the children! A casting off of religious values removing the 10 Commandments from our schools and removing prayer out of our schools! The effort to sanitize our culture from any symbols of God in the market place! If God is taken out of our schools then the vacuum is filled with guns! As our nation abandons Christian values anarchy fills the void! If policemen cannot defend themselves carrying weapons who are you? The changes that have to be made have nothing to do with guns!
