Angel of Peace?

The Pope recently called Palestinian leader Abbas an angel of peace? Which angel was the Pope talking about? Is it Michael, Gabriel or Lucifer? Last year Abbas praised the murder of a Rabbi saying the killer would go to Paradise as a martyr? This event and many others support scripture and my belief that the one world religious ruler or the false prophet that will rule from Rome will be a Muslim! The Anti-Christ who will simultaneously rule from Israel will be a Jew and a gay! How does a Jew hater and a Jew marry together and rule the earth? ISIS has two main objectives. Take down Saudi Arabia and take over Rome! They know Bible prophecy better than most Christians! The cut off of oil from Saudi Arabia to America will cause gasoline to go to $10.00 dollars per gallon and cause an economic collapse! The takeover of Rome by Islam will be even more catastrophic! Two billion Catholics will have to confess to Islam, fight or die? Notice the worldwide endorsement of gays! Is all this just another bump in the road or are we at the close of Bible prophecy? With Obama in office the bad guy’s are making their moves! Two more years with Obama will be enough time for these things to come to pass! So when is the rapture of His Church? Soon! Watch the Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage soon to be decided! It will probably be a 5-4 decision! If gay’s win this decision Pastor’s across America will be forced to perform gay marriages and deny their Faith or refuse and go to jail! In these last days God is sorting out his true followers! Good Grief! Ecclesiastes 7: 2-4

We need healing conversations this morning! Solomon says grief brings joy! American culture tries to pass by death! We want to avoid conversations about it! Solomon says in verse four that the heart of the wise is in the house of mourning. John 11: 32-35. Jesus knows how to grieve! In fact we see in this scripture that Jesus gets blamed for Lazarus death! Where have you buried him? Jesus wept! Why did Jesus stop and weep when He was about to raise Lazarus from the dead? We cannot skip over the sad places in our life! Jesus was fully man and fully God and is illustrated so plainly in these events! We cannot celebrate the miracles without paying attention to the process! Psalm 137. Two third’s of the Psalm’s are complaints and lamentations. The Jews were taken captive and taken to Babylon! The Babylonians took the best of the population back to Babylon and left the sick and elderly in Israel. Many of the grandchildren never saw their grandparents again! As the Jews sat by the rivers of Babylon they remembered Zion and wept! How do we grieve properly? First we must admit a new reality! Something is new about my life! Everything has changed about my life! It may be from a loss of a spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, job loss, sickness, financial loss, home or something else. I lost my dad in 2005. I miss dad but now a new reality. Second take time to weep. They wept in Babylon! Jesus wept! Slow down and grieve! Grieve properly! It is decompressing! Third remember the past! I have many good memories of my father! My father developed a barbeque sauce! He always wanted to get a patent on it. What my mother did not tell us for years is that she added some ingredients to the sauce so we could eat it! Tell the stories that make you smile at a funeral! See God’s imprint on our lives! Tell the stories that heal us and carry us on! What happens when we grieve properly? Our pain is confronted! We cannot ignore pain! In fact there is more pain for avoiding pain! Drug addiction is caused by trying to avoid pain! Invite the Holy Spirit into our pain! Jesus invited His Father into the pain in the Garden of Gethsemane! When we grieve properly we become available again! Your story matters! Millions of American’s have lost loved ones in battles of war in American history! Their stories matter! God is not finished with you yet! Your story is not over! Your final chapter is not the last one! God needs you available again! God will heal your heart! Even Jesus own disciples thought it was all over for them as Jesus went to the Cross! They scattered and went back to their old jobs! They could not look forward? God needs you available again! God knows what it is to grieve! Life was never the same when I lost my father! Storms are not forever! As we prepare for Communion let us remember the grieving of our Lord He has gone through for us on the Cross! Because He lives this morning we can live! He suffered so that we could have victory! They Do Matter! Decoration Day May 1868

They died for you that is why they matter! No life is wasted if it is expended to defend others! That is what the “Cross” is all about! From the Concord Church to Benghazi American’s have sacrificed their lives for you! General John A. Logan ordered his posts in May of 1868 to decorate graves of the civil war fallen, 620000, with the choicest flowers of springtime! We should guard their graves with sacred vigilance! Let no neglect, no ravages of time, testify to the present or to the coming generations that we have forgotten as a people the cost of a free and undivided republic! International Travel For American’s 2015

The following story is true because my nephew just got back from the Middle East and shared these experiences with me! My nephew has to travel international with a company based here in America. On this trip his first stop was Saudi Arabia. The first two weeks seemed uneventful as he traveled by taxi from his Hotel to the work site. He traveled the same route everyday. On the 3rd week of his stay the taxi driver picked him up as usual from his Hotel but then diverted to a very dark dangerous area of the city? Then once in this area the cab driver slowed the vehicle down to a crawl and asked him what religion he was? The driver told my nephew you must tell me your religion in a very threatening way? He kept asking the question over and over again? The Holy Spirit then told my nephew what to say! He said, “I know the King!” He meant Jesus but the taxi driver thought he meant the King of Saudi Arabia! So the driver quickly took him to the job site! Then things got worse! The next day another cab driver picked him up from the Hotel and he also diverted from the route! The driver told him an Imam wants to ask you some questions and took him to a Mosque! The Imam told my nephew that how you answer the following question will determine whether you live or die! The question was, “Where is Mohammad right now?” The Holy Spirit gave my nephew another good answer! My nephew said, “Mohammad is in the lap of Allah!” My nephew did not share the last part of the answer which was that they are both in Hell right now! Then things got worse again! When he left the airport for another Muslim country that country rejected his entry and sent him back to Saudi Arabia? He asked the immigration at the airport why would you deny entry when I have proper visa and paper work for entry? They would not give him an answer? When he arrived back at the airport in Saudi Arabia the immigration told him he must enter a bus and go to another destination and board a certain bus number at that destination? When he arrived he got in line to purchase his ticket but while in line a man approached him and asked him why he was boarding this bus? He told my nephew that this bus was for illegal immigrants! He told him this bus will take you to the Yemen boarder where armed guards will escort you across the border where you proceed on foot across the desert! My nephew got on another bus and returned to his Hotel and googled a map of Saudi Arabia. He noted a smaller city that had an airport. He took a bus to that airport and boarded a plane and got out of country! He had to spend another $1500 hundred dollars in transportation charges but got out alive! Under President Obama American’s are no longer respected! Our enemies no longer fear us and our friends no longer trust us! What is a Hardened Heart? Exodus 4:21

If we take the Hebrew word, “Chazaq”, we find it is a verb and means to be courageous and overpowering! This might seem like a paradox in that God causes Pharaoh to become courageous and overpowering to oppose God! You might say Pharaoh played the fool! If I had been Pharaoh and know what I know now I would have told Moses that he could go! No problem! Sometimes the devil gets blamed for what God does and sometimes God gets blamed for what the devil does! Only God can give us discernment to know! If Pharaoh had been compliant to Moses God’s wonders, miracles and deliverance would not have been displayed as a testimony to God! The Egyptian women would never have given up their silver, gold and clothes to the Jews! They would have been sent away empty! Without Jesus on the Cross the resurrection would not have been possible for us! Remember some people will come into your life that seem useless and even to a great annoyance to you but yet God has a plan and purpose to bring His Glory out through you and the events caused by them and through them! God asked Moses, “Who has made man’s mouth, who makes the dumb or deaf or the seeing and the blind?” Have not I the Lord! The Queen of the Gospels Song Writer Fanny Crosby was born blind. She wrote over 8000 hymns! Over 100 million copies have been printed and distributed! She wrote 1000 poems! She had four books of poetry printed! My favorite song that she wrote is, “Blessed Assurance.” I have eyes yet I have not written one song? Pharaoh could not have done what he did without God’s help! Warning to Gay’s and Lesbian’s! Leviticus 18:22

Chapter 18 of the Book of Leviticus covers forbidden sexual practices! It also covers human sacrifices which we see in Islam! Verse 22 instructs us that homosexual behavior is an abomination to God! Yes God is homophobic! God is love but hates sin! He could not be a Holy God and endorse sin! Won’t ever happen! The best example in history of his rebuke of gay’s is Sodom and Gomorrah! Simply repent of your sin and turn from your wicked ways! That is what I did and you will experience the joy and love of God and life everlasting through Jesus Christ! Thankyou.
