Christmas Reminder!

The greatest disease in the West today is not TB or leprosy it is being unwanted, unloved and uncared for. We can cure physical diseases with medicine, but the only cure for loneliness, despair and hopelessness is love. There are many in the world dying for a piece of bread, but there are many dying for a little love. Socialism is Anti-Marriage!

There is no greater stupidity than for people…to marry and surrender themselves to the small miseries of domestic and private life! Karl Marx   Comment: Marx one of the founders of socialism was a Jewish atheist! So if we are not to marry what do we do? Spread socialism or communism across the world sacrificing your life for the cause! Since there is no God the State is your God! The government is your God! This socialist experiment has not had good results! The Russian Revolution of 1917! Hitler and the National Socialist Party! But what has it achieved in America? Poverty! Especially in the inner cities among the African American community! When President Lyndon Johnson began this experiment back in the 1960’s he replaced the father of the family in the African American community with a welfare check from the government! Sixty years later we have the results in the inner cities of America! Poverty! Crime! Drugs! Anger! Frustration! Trapped! Socialism is all about our National debt! It will bankrupt any country and has for many nations! This experiment has failed over and over yet the Democratic Party continues its promotion! Why? To exchange promises of free stuff for votes! It is about hanging on to power! They do not care about the people but for votes! To maintain political power! George Soros a Jewish atheist billionaire is funding the illegal caravan to our southern border! He is funding it through an Latino organization in Chicago! They are paying people in central America to flood our southern border! Why? Future Democratic voters! This is what open borders is all about! What about the rapes, murders and abductors of the women and children along the way of the migrant caravan? What about most of illegal immigrant caravan are young men? Many criminals! The political left does not care about the Americans that will be exposed to these dangers in their communities across America after they get in! As long as the left gets the votes and stays in power the true costs to Americans will not matter to them! Socialism & Poverty!

Socialism has no moral justification whatsoever; poor people are not morally superior to rich people, nor are they owed anything because of their lack of success. Charity (Love) is not a socialist concept–it is a religious one, an acknowledgment of God’s sovereignty over property, a sovereignty the Left utterly rejects! Ben Shipiro    Comment: So when there is no recognition of sovereignty what happens? No borders! Sanctuary cities! A push for State ownership of all property! No private property rights! No God! The State becomes your God! No respect of any authority! Why? No sovereignty recognition of God or nation! God does not exist and Nationalism to country is rejected! People lose their incentive to work! No rewards! Everyone is paid the same State pay (Welfare), regardless of whether you work or not! Poverty takes over a nation! Drugs replace God for worship! My Bible says a fool has said in his heart there is no God! The battle lines drawn for this election in November are between Socialists (atheists) and Christians (creationists).  The battle is between evolutionists and creationists! Between those that honor God and those that reject God! How you vote is going to determine your future! If you think I will not bother to vote you are gambling your future and the future of America! Worship! Job 1:10-12

Job is one of the most fascinating Books in the Bible! In these passages of scripture God and Satan are having a conversation about Job! Satan is reminding God that He has blessed Job and the work of his hands with wealth! Satan told God that if you take the wealth away Job will curse you and he will be just like me! So God granted Satan power over Job’s wealth and Job lost money and family! My Bible also says God gives us power to get wealth! Satan can only take it away if God gives Satan authority over your wealth! Remember in the Temptation Satan offered Jesus all the Kingdoms of this world if He would just bow down and worship him! We see in verse 20 that after Job lost everything he rent his clothes bowed down to the earth and worshipped God! Worship can never depend on how much we have or do not have! Wealth can drive us away from God just as easily as poverty! A true heart of worship has nothing to do with our circumstances! Jesus on the Cross was the greatest test of this truth! True worship is understanding the sacrifice God has made for us and to sacrifice for other’s as He has done for us! Our final destination is being in Heaven with our Christ forever! All our decisions need to be based on this fact! Jesus said the love of money is the root of all evil. Trust God and not money because money will perish and you with it if it is your God! $30000 Dollar Perfume! Mark 14:5

Would you spend thirty thousand dollars on perfume for your girl friend or wife? How about that much money spent on perfume for a burial! Probably not! Most Christian’s today would have picked up a bottle of perfume at Dollar Tree for Jesus! The pence or denarius was a day’s wage in the first Century! The pence was equal to ten asses or donkey’s and would have the purchasing power to get this many for a day’s wages! The day laborer and the Roman soldier got one denarius or about 20 cents for a day of labor! The denarius was a small silver coin. So the woman that anointed Jesus with this precious perfume spent 300 days labor for this act of love! The average American worker makes about 100 dollars per day wage. So the American worker at 300 day’s labor would spend thirty thousand dollars on Jesus perfume! If you were a millionaire and made 365 million dollars per year then he would spend 300 million dollars on Jesus perfume! Is it any wonder the crowd got upset at this woman? She was making them look bad! The crowd said the money could have been given to the poor! Jesus said the poor you always have with you! Since the 1960’s the American taxpayer has spent hundreds of billions of dollars on programs for the poor but the poor population has grown in numbers since then? Jesus complimented her and told her this anointing was for my burial. What she did stands as a memorial to her forever! You will meet her in Heaven! Today it is just like pulling teeth to get Christian’s to tithe their income to the church? They will not do it unless they get an income tax deduction! Forget about the offering? I find it difficult sometimes when people want God’s Blessings but will not invest into His Kingdom? We get prayer requests for health and prosperity but not a penny investment into God’s Kingdom? The only rationale I can come up with is that they do not believe God exists but in case He does pray for me! It is like playing the lottery! Buy me a ticket in case you win! This woman had wisdom to invest in the Kingdom while she was living on earth that paid eternal dividends! Her memorial stands 2000 years later! Another interesting word us for perfume is spikenard. Two Greek words make up this English word! It literally means a genuine true beloved friend of foreign origin! Are you a true beloved friend of Jesus? Is He like a treasure of foreign origin to you? Prosperity or Poverty? Matthew 6:11

There are two extremes coming from the American pulpit! Prosperity preaching that says you can get it all if you just believe and the poverty message that if you just abstain from these vanities you will be blessed in the after life! Jesus said give us this day our daily bread! It was not give us more than we need or less than we need but what we need for today! Do not store up or throw away but trust Him for today! Do not worry about the next day but trust Him for today! If you do this you will be able to sleep tonight and the peace that the world longs for but cannot find! Your peace will come from following Jesus and just doing what He told us to do! He is the Prince of Peace!

Who was Polycarp? A.D. 69-155

He was a disciple and personal companion of the Apostle John. As a youth he studied at the Apostle’s feet and was ordained as Bishop of Smyrna. Some scholars believe that the Angel of the Church at Smyrna mentioned in the Book of Revelation was referring to Polycarp. Our Lord had no criticism for the Church at Smyrna and told them that they were rich! Their tribulation and poverty was translated into wealth of spirit! Polycarp lived to be about 87 years old and was martyred in 155 A.D. To escape martyrdom he only would have had to say, “Caesar is Lord.” Polycarp was a powerful leader both living and dying!
