Case Against Halloween!

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 Let us discuss these verses first. What is meant by passing your son or daughter through the fire? This is human sacrifice! This was the practice of the Canaanites sacrificing their children to their gods! Modern day sacrifice would be abortion! Divination is divining a sentence on someone! A charmer casts magical spells on people. A witch is basically the same thing casting spells on people. Another word for this is a whisperer. A wizard conjures up familiar spirits. Remember King Saul asking the witch of Ender about his future? She did not tell him he was going to be beheaded? King Manesseh also inquired to witches and fortune tellers! A necromancer is one who raises spirits from the dead! They do this to make predictions about the future or in their ghostly help to make something happen. Kind of like the rabbits foot? How lucky was the rabbit? This occult practice was also called Black Magic and comes from the ancient Greek word for corpse necro or prophecy mancy. Comment: It is interesting I lived in India for 3 years and I saw these practices done in the Hindu Temples! I have a blog post on my experience inside a Hindu Temple. The Hindu Priests collect money from people to cast spells on other people. Say a husband wants to get rid of his old wife for he has found a young girl. Then he hires the Priest to cast spells on his old wife that she might die! This is a big money business in India! Funny thing is the opposing party will come to the same Priest and pay him money to cast a spell on his adversary! The Priest will ask more money from the second party! The Hindu Priest’s told me these spells do not work on Christian believers! They do work on everyone else! You might say it is Halloween everyday in India! Do I want to spoil some kids fun collecting candy? No! Did I trick or treat when I was a kid? Yes! What I want you to understand is the origin of Halloween! In Leviticus 18:3 God warned the Jews not to participate in the ordinances or statutes, decree’s, feasts and customes of the gentiles! Today here in America the orthodox Jews do not participate in Halloween but the secular Jews do! Now to the origin of Halloween. The druids were the members of the ancient Celtic culture! The words druid and Celtic mean magic! Remember the Boston Celtics? In the ancient Celtic culture they had Priests, magicians, soothsayers and fortune tellers! They were a high ranking professional class of people from Ireland, Briton, Scotland and Wales. When Rome invaded these area’s around 60 B.C., Caesar said the Celtic groups were performing human sacrifices! Not that Caesar was the Gold Standard for morality but this is what the Roman soldiers observed. Have you ever heard of the wicker man? The Celtics built large wooden idol’s in the form of a man. On top of the wooden beams they nailed wooden slats to form the image. So the center was hollow! Halloween! Then they put the human sacrifices inside and set it on fire! The hollow of your pumpkin has a fire or candle inside of it! The druid religious culture had no written communications only oral. It was a secret society! What are the rules? Criteria for sacrifice? The Romans pretty much wiped out the druids but their occult spirit lives on in culture! The immigration of the Irish to America during late 1800’s and early 1900’s brought Halloween and some of these cultural traditions even though most were Christians. In the Medieval age the remnants of druids opposed Christianity! Trick or Treat! I will hurt you unless you treat me? God says I love you even though you hate me! Let us close with Ephesians 6:12 “We do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the Rulers of darkness in this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” When children come to our door I put a Gospel Tract into their bags along with the candy! Are You Indigenous or Born Again? John 3:7

John 3:7 “Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again.” Jesus Christ Commentary: God’s divine nature is not born into us entirely at birth! You do not have to teach a child to do wrong! It comes naturally to your indigenous child! Sin comes with the package! Note Jesus Christ did not become Jesus Christ at his birth! He existed in the Trinity before the creation of this world and was active in the creation of this world! Jesus pre-existed creation! His divinity was established before eternity! Our English words “Born Again” in the Greek means to be born from above! A spiritual birth in a fleshly body! Jesus took on a fleshly body so that we can be saved from our sinful bodies! In your new birth you are no longer an indigenous person! You are no longer bound for hell! A diversion to heaven has begun! Adam and Eve were indigenous people the first humans on planet earth! However that did not help them! Their fallen spiritual condition separated them from heaven! All flesh regardless of color is in a state of sin! The Pilgrims found the American Indian tribes warring against each other! Just as a worm turns into a butterfly we all must be born again! A spiritual birth new in Christ! Old things are passed away and all things become new! Born from above to be returned to above resurrected from the dead to live with Christ forever! We are all illegal immigrants until we get our citizenship from above! Then we are given a visa from heaven to legally stay here to legalize the illegal immigrants or the indigenous people through the blood of Christ! Christ taking our judgment of death satisfying the law bringing freedom and prosperity and liberty by his actions reconciling us to the Father creator of heaven and earth through his atoning death! Easter People? Revelation 12:17

Greek Translation: “And the dragon was provoked and enraged with the woman, and went to make war with the remaining ones of her seed sown, which preserve and watch the Commandments of God respecting his authority and those having the testimony of those bearing witness of Jesus Christ.” Comment: If this scripture does not explain the reason for the culture war in America and throughout history nothing will! Satan’s followers war against Christ and his seed! Christ is in Heaven right now so the only targets are his followers! Get rid of prayer in school! Get rid of Bibles in schools! Take down the Commandments off buildings! Remove Crosses across America! Even cemeteries! Disturb the dead! Make civil laws that oppose God’s Commandments! Gay marriage! Remember slavery was once the law of the land here in America! Abraham Lincoln said a law may be legal but can also be immoral! This scripture also explains Anti-Semitism rising in America! The Jews are the keepers of the Commandments! That is orthodox Jews here in America! They recite the Commandments daily! Most Christian’s can maybe name two of the ten? Christian’s and Jews are always linked together as enemies of Satan! If you read the Quran Muslim’s are responsible to kill both Jews and Christians! Christian persecution world wide is at an all time high! What we do with Jesus will determine our outcome in life! If you follow Jesus the Devil will be enraged! He will with his followers persecute you! If you follow Satan he will be happy with you and reserve a place in Hell for you! However you cannot have it both ways! You cannot as some try to have one foot in the world and one foot in the church! My Bible says a double minded man is unstable in all his ways! Satan is a deceiver! He started his crusade in the Garden of Eden! So for America and the world what is the biggest deception he has achieved in the 19th, 20th and 21st Centuries? The lie that Charles Darwin’s Theory of Evolution is science! If you follow Darwin you will believe there is no God and there is no Heaven and no Hell! So there is no need for repentance and I am answerable to no one for my actions! Some Christian’s in Sri Lanka were murdered in their House of worship! Obama and Hillary called them the Easter people! They could not utter the name “Christian”? Political correctness! Jesus is the only name in Heaven and earth below by which men can be saved! Are you afraid to mention his name! Jesus said if you are ashamed of me then my Father in Heaven is ashamed of you! His name is above every name! Where is his name in your ranking? In the military we call this a ‘Self Inflicted Wound.’ A coward who wants to get out of the military shoots himself in the foot! This is what the Democrats are doing to themselves! The normal way a legal conclusion is reached is you gather evidence and make a conclusion based upon evidence! They have reversed the process! They concluded Trump committed collusion  with the Russians in the 2016 elections and have been on a two year search of evidence to try to prove their theory! They are searching every barn yard and hen house across America! They cannot accept the will of the American people and still searching for an excuse as to why Hillary lost! Global Warming in France?

Really sad for the French people are suffering from heavy taxation for socialism policies including a carbon tax and fuel tax that are based on the phony global warming scheme! Global warming is a myth and is used by the political left or socialists to extract money from the hard working citizens through heavy taxation! Diesel fuel is over six dollars per gallon in France! We are about two dollars per gallon here in America! If we had to pay those prices America would go into a deep recession or even a depression! President Trump did not go for the global warming fraud to politically drain the finances of the American people! President Emmanuel Macron needs to wake up and see his error and remove these burdensome taxes on the French people! Then to abandon socialism and the heavy tax costs to his citizens! Shrink the huge government and relieve the people of these heavy burdens! Giant socialistic governments require huge taxes from the people to support it! Socialism has failed everywhere it is tried yet the left just wants to try failure one more time! Utter stupidity! A lean efficient government will relieve the people of heavy taxes and the people will spend that money into the economy which will lead to business prosperity for France! Who Are They? Revelation 2:6

Who are the Nicolaitians? The word in the Greek means the conqueror of the people! Specifically in the Church of God! They are only referred to twice in the Book of Revelation. Both the church at Ephesus and the Church at Pergamos had the same problem! (Verse 2:15). The Nicolaitians were Bishops and prelates of the church gaining a triumphal victory over the laity! This is the very sin that brought forth the Reformation! It is mostly responsible for all our denominational and non-denominational churches around the world! The Nicolaitians compelled and forced church members to submit to the arbitrary dominion of men who have become the ones which the eternal hates! The Apostle Peter warned us that those who are leaders among God’s people must not dominate the faith of others but rather exhort them to do right! (1 Peter 5:1-3). The Nicolaitians are people in the church who have established a hierarchy of power and dominion under a government of ecclesiastical rulers! Comment: Yes! God hates these folks! Correction is very different from condemnation! We take the word disciple from the word discipline. Jesus used the techniques of correction and commendation very effectively! We as parents either tend to over correct and under commend or over commend and under correct! Everything I do cannot be right and everything I do cannot be wrong! That is why I need a Savior! My experience in ministry over the past 45 years has shown me people do not like to submit to authority! This is the nature of Satan! Most people will submit to authority if commended and corrected in love! However some will never! Hell is reserved for these folks! Why will some never submit? Because they want to replace God! This explains why the world is a war! War on God! Jesus asked the churches at Ephesus and Pergamos to repent! Sunday our Pastor Oscar Cope made an important point to us in his sermon!
