Faith to Leave Your Job? Mark 1:16-20

Jesus had just began his ministry in Galilee! Now he needed some recruits for the ministry! People he could train to carry on the ministry after his death, burial, resurrection and ascension! He found these rag tag fisherman alone the shore line of the Sea of Galilee mending their nets! They were tired of fishing and anything looked better than what they were doing! Ready for a new career! I am sure they did not know the cost of following Jesus? Jesus said count the cost! It cost him everything so would the cost be less for his followers? With the exception of John who was boiled in oil and exiled to a slave labor camp on the island of Patmos they were all martyred! John wrote the Book of Revelation there on this remote island so his time was not wasted there! While living and dying these men and women built the Kingdom of God while here on earth! You have to give up in order to gain! You have to plant a seed! We plant the Word of God! Faith in God enables us to do more than we could ever think or ask! However we must prove faithful where we are right now and in submission to authority before God will assign us bigger things to do! If we are faithful in small things we will be faithful in much! Regardless of your rank in the Body of Christ you will always be a servant! Regardless of your position you will always be a follower of Jesus Christ! Promotion does not come from the east or the west but from God! No one can take this promotion away from you! Once you are on the receiving end of one of Jesus miracles you understand his love and power! Power to do good! Jesus is able to overcome our human weakness! We have the power in the name of Jesus! Never trust yourself but trust Christ! We can let ourselves down and others but Jesus will pick us up! He is more than able! He makes us able! Our faith in Christ enabled us to spend 3 years on the mission field in India! We had enough money to buy a one way ticket to India! When I went to India I found people who were living on more faith than I was! I saw the place where Thomas the doubter was martyred in the 1st Century there in India! I saw some who were selling ministry books and cassette tapes for income to minister there! Some were sleeping along the roads there at night with the stars of the sky as their ceiling! You cannot please God without faith! Not a blind faith in yourself but a trust in Christ with the best outcome based upon his promises of eternal life! Jesus is still looking for disciples! Not perfect just like the fisherman but willing to follow him regardless of the cost! Jesus paid it all! Pastor Paul Cho told us in Korea that our primary mission to India was to help the local Pastor’s! To work across all denominational lines! To strengthen leadership! Why Democrat Gains?

Specifically in Arizona and Nevada many people who are Democrats have moved from California to these states! Also 35 percent of all American’s are on some sort of public assistance! They will not give up the free stuff so they vote for the Democrats who dole out this stuff! However it is not free and our National debt reflects these giveaway programs for votes! The great economy is good for those that have a good education! Those that do not do not benefit from the booming economy and stay in the welfare trap! This is how I see it! Bill O’reilly

The Road Most Traveled!

The reason socialism will fail every time is because governments run out of other people’s money to fund the failure! Margaret Thatcher (1925-2013) Comment: She tried to warn Europe not to go down this path but today they are there! England wants to leave the EU because it carries socialist countries that will cause it to collapse! America with now nearly 19 Trillion in debt is headed down the road most traveled too! Obama threatened our ally England of trade sanctions if they leave the EU? Obama loves our enemies and hates our allies! The bad players Russia, Iran, North Korea and ISSIS all got a promotion when he came into office! We cannot get rid of him soon enough! Also remember that the collapse of America and the socialist nations will lead to the one world government prophesized in the Bible! The anti-Christ a one world political leader and his false prophet or world religious leader! He will most likely be a Muslim! Abu Bakar Al-Baghdadi

This is not a good old Irish name! He is the leader of the ISIS. This stands for Islamic State for Iraq and Syria. Abu was in US custody between 2005 and 2009. In 2009 President Obama released him? As a result over the past few weeks 40000 Christians have fled Iraq! They had to leave their houses, land and possessions behind! Many have been decapitated, hung on Crosses or enslaved. Sadly we have a leader in the white house who is working hard to bring America down! He is doing a very good job! Christians around the world have never been at a higher risk for persecution than during his time in office! All of us wonder the outcome for us and the world for the next two years! Does he plan to leave office? Does he plan to create more civil unrest and declare emergency powers? If America survives Obama we may be able to pick up the pieces and establish America in her greatness once again! Our allies do not trust us and our enemies do not fear us! 2014 Prediction! Hebrews 13:8

The world changes! People change. Health changes. Finances change. Attitudes change. Economy changes. President’s change, Families change ( Divorce-remarriage). Weather changes. Pastor’s change. Church member’s change, Friends change. Laws change, Time changes. War changes. Taxes change, Technology changes, Nations change, ect. The News that never changes is the Good News as Paul says in Hebrews 13:8; “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever!” Christ is the only one who can give you stability and peace in this unpredictable world you live in! The God of 2013 is the same God of 2014 and on forever! Do not hang your hat on anything else but Him! He will never leave you or forsake you! Others will! Happiness depends on circumstances!
