The greatest of these is love.” Comment: Love to the world is to get what they want sacrificing others for themselves! Contrary to this view was what Jesus said in the prayer he prayed for us! Not my will but thy will be done! Agape loves requires sacrificial love! Faith and hope is about you sacrificing yourself for others! Doing it with great expectation from God the rewarder of good works! Often men will not respect your sacrifice! If they did then they would respect the Cross! Many still today mock the Cross as God’s greatest sacrifice to humanity! Back in the 1970’s we had a missionary Pastor come to our church in Denver Colorado! They had been on the mission field of Africa for twenty years before taking our church! The seeds he sowed in my heart bore fruit ten years later as we went to the mission field to India! Pastor Charity and Ruth Harris were pushed out of our Denver Church by some political elder’s who wanted the Pastorate for a relative who had just graduated from Bible College! Charity and Ruth went back to Africa and spent another ten years on the mission field. Now Charity is in a nursing home blind waiting for Jesus to call him home! What he may not know is the Gospel seeds he planted in me some 49 years ago are still producing fruit in my life and others today! You see Christ is his expectation! The hundreds of churches he planted in Africa for over 30 years is producing fruit there today! Heaven is really about planting seeds here on earth and then meeting some of the people who have gone home before you and being greeted by them the harvest that is now in Heaven! It looks that way when we see Europe today? The European Nations are siding with Iran against Israel and the United States? Strange but prophetic! We here in America admire President Trump! America siding with Israel is on the right side of history! Israel is our only ally in the Middle East and has a Democratic elected government! Spiritually Israel is the center of the world and from where Christ ascended and to where he will return at his second coming! We also know from our Bible that the last war waged on earth will be waged in Israel. It is called the Battle of Armageddon! The armies of the world will surround Israel but God Himself will destroy them all. Iran is the leading nation of state sponsored terrorism! The billions of dollars Obama gave them are being used to sponsor proxy wars across the Middle East and North Africa! A lot of American blood on their hands! This is what the atheists in America are proclaiming! That is if man is just left to himself he will do good things! The historical evidence debunkes the left ideology! More people were killed by war in the 20th Century than the previous 19 Centuries! What happened to the evolutionary model? Getting better? We did not get off to a good start in the 21st Century with 9-11? America has been at war ever since in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and North Africa! God has Commanded us in the 4th Commandment not to murder! What about the millions of babies killed here in America through abortion! This supports the statement made by Ben Shapiro that the political left breaks everyone of the 10 Commandments! You remember Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty? He has a new show now! He went to the Governor of Nebraska and ask him to proclaim to the State of the people to just try to keep just two of the Commandments for just one year and see if things are better? The two are thou shall not murder and thou shall not steal. We have the 10 Commandments hanging on the wall of our living room! If every family in America would do this and the children would be reminded of them daily we would have a very different America! Some people think that prayer means asking for things, and if they fail to receive exactly what they ask for, then they think the whole thing is a fraud! Gerald Vann (1906-1963), British Catholic Theologian, Author of 24 Books. Comment: Prayer is really fellowship with God! Fellowship with the Father through His Son! You remember some of Jesus words! Father forgive them for they know not what they do! Father if possible let this cup pass from me nevertheless not my will but Thy will be done! We can pray for the stuff but it will perish one day! I can pray for the sick which is good but they will die one day! The fellowship with our Father through Jesus will last forever! We pray expecting but according to the will of God! All Jesus disciples were martyred except John who was boiled in oil and sentenced to a slave labor camp stone quarry on the island of Patmos where he wrote the Book of Revelation! Some in the church today might think they were out of the will of God because they did not die rich with a lot of stuff? Success is more than stuff! The Gold Standard for success with God is to love others and sacrifice yourself for their benefit! What are our prayers like? Lord I am a sinner forgive me as my Savior! Lord forgive them and forgive me! Do we continue to fellowship and worship God through prayer in Heaven? What is Jesus doing right now in Heaven? He is interceding for the Saints here on earth! Satan has no prayer life and is separated from God! The Old Testament Hebrew word for prayer means to intercede for someone else! Jesus is following this pattern in Heaven today! One of the Greek words for prayer in the New Testament means to ask for a specific benefit from God! Send your Holy Spirit and dwell in me! Whatever the benefit it is to benefit others! Pray more for souls and less for stuff! What will be our prayer in Heaven? Praying for those here on earth! Why not start today? It is more difficult to understand in the West where most pulpit messages are about prosperity, wealth, success, good health and the Donald Trump Heaven! What about the thousands of Christian’s beheaded over the past few years! Millions are refugees! Does the Gospel not apply to them? It is estimated since the first Century 45 million Christian’s have been martyred! Is the Bible just an American Gospel? However some prophetic promises in our Bible do not market well! So they are left alone and just pretend they are not there! Jesus Christ is the Spirit of Prophecy! Almost every sin listed in our Bible has been legalized by the state! Whether it be abortion, divorce, gambling, gay marriage or drugs! It will soon be illegal to have your gender posted on a bath room door! What is behind this craziness? Very simple! This is about losing our identity to prepare for the one world government! Illegal immigration and no borders is about losing our identity! Will not be long and the Olympics will be gone! Segregation is about keeping your identity! Heaven and Hell will be segregated! Integration is about losing your identity! The next coming event in America is legislating a law making Christianity illegal! It will probably come through the court’s! Possibly an executive order! Christian Martyrdom Doubled in 2013, Persecution Growing!
The number of Christians murdered for their faith almost doubled in 2013 over the previous year, according to an annual survey by Open Doors, a non-denominational ministry that monitors the persecution of believers and supports persecuted Christians worldwide. Hardline Islamist regimes and Islamic terrorists—many funded by the Obama administration and other western governments—were behind most of the slaughter. However, for the 12th year in a row, the autocracy lording over North Korea was ranked as the number one persecutor of Christians in the world. According to the organization’s findings in it’s open doors World Watch List, released last week. Christians are still by far the most persecuted demographic on earth–and the trends are getting worse. In 2012, the group’s annual report documented the martyrdom of more than 1200 Christian’s. Last year there were more than that martyred just in Syria, where the Obama administration and a coalition of it’s allies–mostly European governments and Sunni Arab dictators–have been arming and funding jihadist rebel groups. Overall, the report documented 2123 murders of Christians for their faith in 2013. An estimated 100 million believers in Christ, meanwhile, still suffer from ruthless persecution around the globe, Open Doors has found. Among the other atrocities carried out against Christians for their faith; imprisonment, torture, rape, execution, forced labor, and more. Christians are persecuted in more than 65 countries around the world, with a vast majority in Africa and Asia–and especially in the middle east, where Islamist rulers often purport to make faith in Christ a crime. Deaths of Christian “Martyrs” Doubled in 2013
More Christians were killed in Syria in 2013 than worldwide the year before! Open Doors, a non-denominational group that supports persecuted Christians, said that 2123 Christians were killed because of their faith in 2013, up from 1201 the year before. Reuters reported that 1213 martyrs were reported in Syria alone! The complete failure of the Arab Spring with no strong dictators left to keep the most violent elements of Islam in check has released an unprecedented wave of violence to Christians across the Middle East and Africa. Let us not forget our very own 4 American’s killed in Benghazi! One World Government
When was the last time we had a one world government? Yes, you are right! It was about 4200 years ago! The world political world leader was Nimrod who supervised the building of the Tower of Babel! We get our word Babylon from Babel. The name means confusion. Sounds like our politics today! Nimrod tried to lead the people away from God and to exhault themselves above God! God responded to this rebellion by doing two things. God divided the Languages and divided the earth. Scientist today call this division continental drift. If you look at the west coast of Africa you will see it fits the east coast of the United States. So people were divided by Language and by geography. The world again today is trying to do another one world government. Man’s rebellion against God will fail again! Read the Book of Revelation and you will see the outcome with Christ’s return at the end of the 7 year tribulation period to set up His 1000 year reign over all the earth! Christ’s Rule will be peaceful with no more war!
