Transgender Bathrooms!

I just want to let you know I have nothing against transgender bathrooms! I went into the men’s bathroom last night while shopping in a department store and I shared my position with this lady that was in my bathroom! I warned her to be careful where she goes for there are a lot of perverts out there! Paul Harris

Who is Your Expectation? 1 Corinthians 13:13

Greek Translation: “And now we stand firm, steadfast, patient remaining under authority of what remains in faith or the knowledge and confidence in divine truth practicing the good works of the Gospel with hope and security living with great expectations and in love by God to us not based upon what we want but based upon what we need from God. The greatest of these is love.” Comment: Love to the world is to get what they want sacrificing others for themselves! Contrary to this view was what Jesus said in the prayer he prayed for us! Not my will but thy will be done! Agape loves requires sacrificial love! Faith and hope is about you sacrificing yourself for others! Doing it with great expectation from God the rewarder of good works! Often men will not respect your sacrifice! If they did then they would respect the Cross! Many still today mock the Cross as God’s greatest sacrifice to humanity! Back in the 1970’s we had a missionary Pastor come to our church in Denver Colorado! They had been on the mission field of Africa for twenty years before taking our church! The seeds he sowed in my heart bore fruit ten years later as we went to the mission field to India! Pastor Charity and Ruth Harris were pushed out of our Denver Church by some political elder’s who wanted the Pastorate for a relative who had just graduated from Bible College! Charity and Ruth went back to Africa and spent another ten years on the mission field. Now Charity is in a nursing home blind waiting for Jesus to call him home! What he may not know is the Gospel seeds he planted in me some 49 years ago are still producing fruit in my life and others today! You see Christ is his expectation! The hundreds of churches he planted in Africa for over 30 years is producing fruit there today! Heaven is really about planting seeds here on earth and then meeting some of the people who have gone home before you and being greeted by them the harvest that is now in  Heaven! Prayer! Matthew 21:13

Some people think that prayer means asking for things, and if they fail to receive exactly what they ask for, then they think the whole thing is a fraud! Gerald Vann (1906-1963), British Catholic Theologian, Author of 24 Books. Comment: Prayer is really fellowship with God! Fellowship with the Father through His Son! You remember some of Jesus words! Father forgive them for they know not what they do! Father if possible let this cup pass from me nevertheless not my will but Thy will be done! We can pray for the stuff but it will perish one day! I can pray for the sick which is good but they will die one day! The fellowship with our Father through Jesus will last forever! We pray expecting but according to the will of God! All Jesus disciples were martyred except John who was boiled in oil and sentenced to a slave labor camp stone quarry on the island of Patmos where he wrote the Book of Revelation! Some in the church today might think they were out of the will of God because they did not die rich with a lot of stuff? Success is more than stuff! The Gold Standard for success with God is to love others and sacrifice yourself for their benefit! What are our prayers like? Lord I am a sinner forgive me as my Savior! Lord forgive them and forgive me! Do we continue to fellowship and worship God through prayer in Heaven? What is Jesus doing right now in Heaven? He is interceding for the Saints here on earth! Satan has no prayer life and is separated from God! The Old Testament Hebrew word for prayer means to intercede for someone else! Jesus is following this pattern in Heaven today! One of the Greek words for prayer in the New Testament means to ask for a specific benefit from God! Send your Holy Spirit and dwell in me! Whatever the benefit it is to benefit others! Pray more for souls and less for stuff! What will be our prayer in Heaven? Praying for those here on earth! Why not start today?
