1st Plague! 1st Commandment!

So what was the first plague on the Pharaoh and Egypt for not letting the Jews go out into the wilderness and worship their God? Moses wanted his people to get away from the idols of Egypt for they had suffered with them for 430 years! This was the hardest part of slavery! They could not worship their God! From my three years in India I understand this very well! Everyday you see hundreds of idols everywhere! This begins to wear you down over time! Pharaoh refused to let them go! So Moses took his rod and struck the Nile River, the lakes, ponds, streams and wells of Egypt and the water turned to blood! This was the first plague of Egypt! They could not drink the water and all the fish died in the water and they lost their food supply! The first Commandment says thou shall have no other gods before me! So what does the blood represent? Redemption or judgment! Remember Jesus turned the water into wine! A red mixture representing blood! Remember during the 10th plague Moses directed the Hebrews to put the sacrificial blood of the lamb on the side door posts and the upper door post so the death angel would Passover them and not kill their first born! Pharaoh rejected the blood sacrifice of the Hebrews worship predicting the coming Lamb of God who would be the sacrifice for our sin! So the blood became not his Savior but his curse! The blood of Christ will either be your Savior or your judge! The same God yesterday, today and forever! The same sacrifice! The same Savior and the same Judge! It all depends on what you do with his blood! I heard a preacher on TBN say God can forgive any sin! I agree except for one sin! To reject the Savior! Then you take your own judgment instead of letting Christ take your judgment! This is the only unpardonable sin! Sometimes when you hear preachers you get the idea there is no consequences for rejecting Christ? If God can pardon every sin then I can reject Christ and go on with my life with no consequences! Pharaoh rejected the blood and it became his curse! The rejection of the blood of Christ brings every plague upon men! The Savior becomes your judge! God took your judgment on an ugly Cross! When I see America reject the Savior then I understand the plagues! There is no call to a National Repentance from most preachers? No repentance of abortion, gay marriage, lesbianism, transgenderism and the sins our nation has promoted! It seems like business as usual? You can still repent and so can I of my sin! Repentance is required based upon the Word of God! Blessings or curses! Plagues or Redemption! Pharaoh had a choice and so do you! Choose this day who you will serve! Witness of the Jews! Isaiah 61:9

  1. And their seed, offspring, family and race will be perceived and known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people, nation and tribes: all that see them shall recognize and acknowledge them, that they are the seed that the Lord has blessed.  Comment: Salvation has come to the earth through the Jew! We need to be reminded of this because if forgotten history has shown us that even the church has been guilty of the persecution of the Jews! Yet congregations are very seldom reminded of this? If we are not taught the whole truth and nothing but the truth then error can enter into the church! The world will never have any problem persecuting the Jews! Did you ever observe that a right theology by the church leads to the persecution of the Jews and the church! Bad theology leads to the church  persecuting the Jews! Jesus a Jew was persecuted by the Jews not because he was a Jew but because he claimed to be God! Would the Messiah not be God? The 1st Century Jews knew the scriptures but they believed their Messiah would be a world political leader who would conquer the Romans and the world! Much like the Anti-Christ will do in the future here on earth! The true Messiah conquers through love! A sacrificial love demonstrated on the Cross! So the Jews ignorantly offered up the sacrifice that would save the world! A Jewish sacrifice offered up by the Jews! Many Jews will turn to Christ during the 7 year Tribulation period in history! The Jewish Anti-Christ will set up his world reign from the re-built Jewish Temple at Jerusalem! The False Prophet will set up his co-reign with the Anti-Christ at Rome! The False Prophet will be the one world religious ruler! My guess is it will be Islam! The Church will have been raptured by then! When the Anti-Christ proclaims he is God the Jews recognize their error! Jesus said many false Christ’s will come! A Jew who hates the Jewish Messiah has been deceived! A Jew who loves the Anti-Christ has been deceived! A Jew or a Gentile who loves the Jewish Messiah has found the truth! Your defense against the false Messiah’s of this world is the Word of God! Fast Forward Evolution!

Is discord going to show itself while we are still fighting, is the Jew once again worth less than another? Oh, it is sad, very sad, that once more, for the umpteenth time, the old truth is confirmed: “What one Christian does is his own responsibility, what one Jew does is thrown back at all the Jews.” Anne Frank Comment: What a wise little teenage girl! She was way beyond her years! It is such a paradox that Hitler was blaming the Jews for Germany’s problems yet he was following a Jew named Charles Darwin? Darwin was an atheist and Hitler was planning out his genocide not only on the Jews but every race except the German race! Hitler through his propaganda minister spread the fake news to the Christians of Germany that Jesus was not a Jew! Hitler blamed the Russian Revolution on the Jews and it is true that Marx, Engels, Lenin and other founders were atheistic Jews! Hitler believed he could fast forward or speed up evolution by millions of years by getting rid of the undesirables which included everyone but the Germans! Do you see how racial selective evolution will lead you? One false doctrine lead to 60 million dead across Europe during WWII. Darwin is also responsible for the deaths of over 57 million babies here in the United States! Abortion! Yet I cannot condemn all Jews because of a few atheistic Jews promoted a ideology that has lead to the deaths of hundreds of millions of people! My savior is a Jew! The Anti-Christ will be a Jew! So this bright little Jewish girl sorted things out! What a difference had Hitler followed a Jew by the name of Jesus Christ! He could have become the greatest Evangelist for good the world had ever seen! Who we follow determines our outcome! Everyone will follow someone! Our Bible teaches Creation and that all people are created in the Image of God! We are all created equal before God! This is confirmed in our United States Constitution! Our Constitution is a Biblical document! When a false teaching enters the minds of men bad things happen! When men believe their is no God then they take things into their own hands! If men believe in a false God they again take matters into their own hands for a desired outcome! What new doctrine or old sin will men pursue in the 21st Century? Islam, socialism, racism, fascism, communism, Nazism and the Anti-Christ that lives in all these ideologies! Or will Christ come into the hearts of men causing them to live in peace with God and man? We know right now 1/3 of the earth is Christian. There are three major religions in the world. Their were 3 Crosses at Calvary but only one counted for the redemption of man! Even though a minority the Jews have played a major part in the redemption of man! Think about this! If the religious Jews would have accepted Jesus in the 1st century then their would not have been a crucified Christ! No redemption for man! God provided a Jewish Savior and the religious Jews made the sacrifice! If you fast forward evolution you come up with death! If you fast forward Christ he is waiting for you in Heaven and has prepared a place for you! You live for him because he died for you! So the choice is yours! The Christ or the Anti-Christ? Two Kingdoms!

This world and the world to come are two enemies! We cannot therefore be friends to both; but one must decide which we will forsake and which we will enjoy! Pope Clement I (1-99 A.D.) Pope Clement I was successor to the Apostle Peter and was martyred by Emperor Trajan in Rome.

Prayer 1 John 5:11-15

Our relationship with God involves prayer! How would you describe your prayer life? Here are some possible answers to this question. 1. Unashamed begging-desperate 2. Loud and lengthy-convicted 3. Terrified whispers-uncertain 4. Sterile and formal-religious, distant and impersonal 5. Speechless-do not know what to say, wordless 6. Confident prayers. Some say prayer is just a conversation with God. No! First you need to know who God is and then teach our children who God is! If we know who God is we can pray confidently! If you do not know who God is then you will pray amiss! If you do not trust God then you will trust in the wrong things. How would you describe God? God is love! He has given us eternal life through His Son! What is eternal life? Eternal life includes past, present and future. He cleans all your files past, present and future! Life means an existence without end. Jesus gave us a sample when He raised the dead! He has promised to raise you one day from the dead! He has prepared a place for you! When I came to Christ a new life began in me! All things were made new! A new reality struck me like lightning! Born again! A blessed assurance of confidence entered my life! Fear and anger and hate were replaced by love, peace and joy! Now I know He loves me and it changed everything! He is more precious than silver and more costly than gold! When we find out who God is we can pray with confidence! The world will wear you down with it’s troubles and religion! We are talking about relationship here! When you come before the creator and ruler of the world and ask anything according to His will and purpose for your life you got it! God is unique in that He can hear all our prayers all at once! Like a mother who can hear all her screaming kids at once. God’s faithfulness is like a money back guarantee! After 25 years of marriage I have learned about non-verbal communication. With eye to eye contact I know the answer before I ask her! When we are intimate with God we know the answer before we ask Him! I know of some schools that give the students the answers before the test but that is cheating! With God you ask in prayer and He will give you an answer! Either yes, no or wait. We can approach God with confidence and know He is listening! He respects you and hears your prayers. Through the Holy Spirit it is like eye to eye contact with God! God is leaning into you! He is paying attention to you! He also wants your attention! We should ask for things He wants to give us! Revelation; Pray His promises to you! Reading and studying the Bible will lead to proper conversation and prayers to God! We already know the answers to our prayers if we pray His promises! God will bring good people into your life and lonely people to minister too! Just as in marriage intimate relationship with God leads to success! That is why Satan works overtime to break up relationships and marriages. We are going to tackle next year with a strong foundation for our families as provided to us in the Gospel of John Chapters 14, 15,16 and 17. Jesus said, “Ask in my name and I will do it!” If we remain in Him we will ask the right things! Marriage should be a picture of our relationship with God! We His church are His bride! In regards to prayer we can ask from those we know very well! Our promises from God are guaranteed! They are sure! Good as gold! Here is a sample of His promises to us from the Bible. 1. He gives us peace. John 14:27. 2. He wants to give us rest. Matthew 11:28. 3. He wants to give us courage. John 16:33. 4. He wants to give us wisdom. Luke 21:15. 5. He wants to give us a family. Psalm 68:5-6. The Bible says you have not because you ask not! Do you take time to ask or try to go it on your own? Pray God’s promises! It is so exciting to give God the Glory when He comes through! God loves to hear from you as you remind Him who He is! A father likes to hear from his children that he is their father! Prayer changes circumstances! One of the Greek words for prayer in the New Testament means to invert in a good sense! From poor to rich! From sad to joy! From lonely to relationships! From purposeless to purpose! A Sin Unto Death? 1 John 5:16

John opens by saying if any man see his brother sin a sin not unto death he shall ask and he shall give them life for them that sin not unto death. Any sin that is not unto death is a sin that is repented of! A sin unto death would be a willful, continuous unrepentant sin! Ananias and Sapphira would be two examples of a sin unto death of two believers! Was Jesus Married?

This subject has come up alot since about the 4th Century! The novel, Da Vinci Code was our most recent until a Harvard scholar says she has found evidence? This writing is out of the 4th Century. The 4th Century is a long way out from the Gospel’s that were written a few years after Jesus life in the 1st Century! Keep in mind what was going on in the 4th Century! One of the greatest challenges to Christianity came from the Coptic Church in Egypt! You had a non-trinitarian theology system rising and with that the rise of Arianism! Arianism said Jesus did not pre-exist His birth. All these forces lead to the Nicene Council in 325 A.D. This lead to the Nicene Creed which millions of churches around the world hold in their theology. There were many forces in the 4th Century trying to remove Christ’s Divinity and reduce Him to a mere man. The same goes for today! This letter from Harvard came out of the 4th Century. The Gospel’s of the New Testament mention all of Jesus family which includes mother, father, sisters, brothers, cousins, ect. Also the Gospel’s take Jesus lineage all the way back to Adam and Eve! If Jesus was married it would not have been left out by all these writers of Biblical and Non-Biblical Historians during the 1st Century! His disciples died promoting the truth and reality of who Christ is and would not have died for a fake! Sometimes I joke and say Jesus did not get married because He was too smart! Think about the plan God had for His Son Jesus and what it required of Him! The Cross and all that lead up to it and then after the Cross! When would He have time for a wife and kids? Then you would have generations living after Christ who would claim they are His relatives and claim special rights! Jesus is married to His Church! We are His Bride! Jesus said you must be born again! This birth is a Spiritual Birth that transforms your life and prepares you to receive the Holy Spirit! Are you married to Jesus or are you trying to live without God? The choice is yours. Love demands a choice! You either serve God or Satan! Choose the one who has created you, died for you, saved you, rose from the grave for you and is in Heaven preparing a place for you! No one else in history can do this or would do this for you!
