2 Timothy 2:15 “Study to show thyself [approved] unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, [rightly dividing] the word of truth.” Dr. Seuss quote: “The more you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you will go!” Commentary: Do you want to be approved of by God? Then read his word! Study it! So what does [approved] really mean from the Greek? To be tried like metals in the fire purified and recognized by God through the furnace of adversity! Wait a minute I thought everyone would love me since I am loving God! Sorry my friend it would be so if we did not have a devil on earth living in people! Opposition comes with acceptance by God! We do not look for it but it will come from all quarters of life! So what does [rightly dividing] mean? It means to be morally straight or upright as opposed to being crooked like a snake! Dr. Seuss says reading will take you to more places in life! Anti-Semitism in Europe

The German culture over about 400 years was set up for this! It started with Martin Luther! When his revelation of “Christ Alone”, spread across Germany and Europe he thought the Jews would get on board! They did not! He was angry about this and his resentment went to printed words across Germany! This hatred spread into the following generations! This leads us to another important question! Can a Jew be Anti-Semitic? Absolutely! This seems like another contradiction but true! We know from our Bible that the Anti-Christ will be a Jew! So not only can a Christian be Anti-Semitic but also a Jew! How does this happen! Biblical ignorance leads the way! Remember Jesus our Jewish Messiah was hated by the Jews! So much they had him Crucified! However without the crucifixion there would be no Salvation for men! So the Jews that hated him helped to bring the Salvation of men! The Russian Revolution and the rise of Fascism and Nazism was a political ideology promoted by atheistic Jews such as Charles Darwin, Engels, Marx, Nietzsche, Lenin, Stalin and others that set the stage for WWII. So the world has a choice to either follow the Jewish Messiah or an atheistic Jew who opposes the Jewish Messiah! Life really boils down this this choice! Which Jew will you follow? One choice leads to life and one choice leads to death! Salvation of the world has come through the Jews! However being Jewish does not guarantee your Salvation! Only following a Jew named Jesus Christ! We know from the Book of Revelation that many Jews will come to Christ during the seven year Tribulation period of history! Why? Because when the Jewish Anti-Christ sets up his world reign over the world in the re-built Jewish Temple at Jerusalem he will turn on the Jews and set himself up as God ruling from the Jewish Temple! Then they will realize they have been deceived by this false Messiah! Satan is the great deceiver and he started his work in the Garden of Eden! We all need spiritual discernment which is available through your Holy Bible! For those that study his word there are no surprises and deceptions are exposed! Through our Bible we see the love of God to man and why he had to sacrifice himself for our sin! Our Bible was written by Jews! Why are Young People Leaving Church?

The real reason according to the Pew Research Center Study in 2016 is revealed not by, prepared multiple choice questions and answers but by the write in answers young people gave in their own words! They responded that they no longer identified with any religious group because they no longer believe it was true! When asked why they did not believe, many said their views about God “evolved” and some reported a “crisis of faith.” Their six specific explanations included the following: 1.  Learning about evolution (Darwinism), when I went to college. 2. Religion is the opiate of the people. (Karl Marx Quote) 3. Rational thought makes religion go out the window.  4. Lack of any sort of scientific or specific evidence of a creator.  5. I just realized somewhere along the line that I really did not believe it. (Really? Your atheistic professors had no influence on you?) 6.  I am doing a lot more learning, studying and kind of making decisions rather than listening to someone else. (No one makes decisions in a vacuum) Comment: They question the existence of God? Why? The State education system promoting atheism! Atheists produce atheists! When you read the socialists work of the 19th Century like Marx, Engels, Lenin, Darwin, Neitzsche and others you will see that College students in America can quote all of them but they cannot quote the Bible? Life (Zoe), Strongs #2222 This word refers to the principle of life in the spirit and the soul. It is distinguished from our physical life! It expresses the highest and best of what Christ is and which he gives to his Saints! It is the highest blessing of the creature! It is the eternal part of us that never perishes! Whether in heaven or hell. What profits a man if he loses his only soul! Our physical life will perish one day for flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God! James and Hamsa Sasse. John 3:16 Word Study “Everlasting”

Everlasting (Aionios) Strongs #166 Everlasting meaning eternal abiding forever! A constant abiding duration in reference to time! It is the life which is God’s not affected by the limitations of time! It is a quality of life that is not belonging to the transitory! It has neither beginning or end! Without end! God has everlasting life! He has everlasting blessings, everlasting salvation, everlasting life, everlasting fire and everlasting judgment! No end! World without end! This everlasting includes our natural life here on earth and forever after! It includes the past, present and future ages of this world and the world to come! John 3:16 Word Study “Perish”

Perish (Apollumi), Strongs #622. This word means to kill, destroy whether temporarily or eternally! To be a victim of the destroyer (Satan). Destroyed by Lucifer the fallen angel (Appolluon). John 3:16 Word Study “Believeth”

Believeth (Pisteuo) Strongs #4100 Believe in what? Yourself? Your shady relatives? The state? Republican or Democratic party? Money? Women? Men? Your dog? To believe is to have a mental persuasion towards something or someone! To have a confidence in! It is to have knowledge and experience that leads to an ascent to Christ with his words and actions! It is a belief that leads to good works even though we are not saved by our good works! A false belief leads to destruction! Never trust in someone that is not trustworthy! That excludes most humans! A belief and trust in Christ for our justification and salvation both past, present and future! To trust the work of God on the Cross for us as a substitute for the condemnation of our sin! You can believe the truth or you can believe a lie! What you believe is very important because your outcome in life is determined by what you believe today and forever! James and Hamsa Sasse. John 3:16 Word Study “Son”

Son (Hulos) Strongs #5207. This word in the Greek is specifically reserved for the Son of God and has no other application! There are other Greek words used for son. An example is for adopted sons and daughters. Hulos specifically refers to the male offspring of legitimate parents! We as believers have a likeness to God’s character but we are not the Son of God! The word son used here refers to Jesus special relationship to the Father! Jesus is never referred to in scripture as a child of God! Only the Son of God! Think about this! Jesus was the Son of God before he came to earth! Jesus Sonship did not start at Bethlehem! Believer’s show maturity by acting as the Sons of God! John 1:12. However this word sons is a different Greek word! Teknon (Strongs#5043). Son (Hulos) stresses the dignity and character of the relationship of the Son to the Father but Teknon sons, communicates the fact of a natural birth. Jesus had a Supernatural birth where we are the product of a natural birth! You can see why a Hebrew-Greek study Bible will help us with interpretations of scriptures! Remember Jesus said we must be born again! The word born (Strongs #1080), means God devine nature imparted to us! But when? The word again (Strongs #509), means from the beginning referring back to the Garden of Eden before the fall of man! Here is a side note for you. Every time the son of man is used in the New Testament the word is not translated from the Greek to English! Why? Matthew 8:20, 16:13, 20:28, Luke 22:69, Hebrews 2:6-9

John 3:16 Word Study “Only Begotten”

Greek Word Strongs #3439 The Greek root word used here is metamorphose! Yes! A worm turning into a butterfly! However in the incarnation the butterfly becomes a worm! Becomes a human! Well the butterfly was always the butterfly! God becomes man but still God! Only begotten means only Son of his mother. Jesus had brothers and sisters but they were from a different father! Jesus was unique only from one race! Salvation has come through the Jews! Father God said this is my beloved Son! Jesus was not born eternally of the Father but as to his humanity here on earth at his incarnation! The Trinity pre-existed creation and the cause of it for the Trinity always has been and forever will be! At Salvation our outward form changes because of a inward transformation! Jesus said we must be born again! The miracle of God in our life changes our condition! It is an invisible process with outward demonstrations of the change! Character is changed! From earthly to Godly character! Remember the Transfiguration? Jesus, Moses and Elijah transformed from earthly to Supernatural! One day we will have a new heaven and a new earth! The word “new”, in the Greek means qualitatively new! A new quality! That is what happens to us at salvation! It will happen at the Rapture of the Church and our eternity spent with Christ! If you can believe your eyes when you see a worm turn into a butterfly here on earth is it too hard for you to believe God’s only Son Jesus Christ was born out of heaven into earth?
