As a Man Thinketh! Proverbs 23:7

An experiment was conducted with dozens of patients who needed knee surgery! With the permission of the families they did some fake surgeries on patients along with real surgeries on patients suffering from knee pain! The fake surgery patients were put under unconsciousness just as the real surgeries were done. The doctors even made superficial cuts on their knee’s as would be done in a real surgery! After months of following their recovery the experiment revealed amazing results! Using X-ray and MRI studies they discovered the fake surgery patients were recovering as well as the real patient surgeries and even with some having better results than those that had the real surgeries! What was discovered was that all the patients  expected to get better! Even the ones that did not have the real surgery expected to get better! What was written in Proverbs some 3000 years ago is confirmed by science that the Word of God has power over sickness and death! Joel Osteen

Pride & Shame Proverbs 11:2

Hebrew translation: “When pride with it’s haughtiness, arrogance, rebelliousness, presumptive will taking authority from God in disobedience then shame comes: but with the lowly is wisdom in knowledge, intelligence, insight and judgment from God as your source.” Comment: The Bible says that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom! My Bible also says the fool says in his heart there is no God! The belief spectrum ranges from there is no God to there are millions of gods! Pride will always be the first cause of sin! Whether in the Garden of Eden or today in the 21st century pride is the root cause of evil. Remember Jesus humbled Himself even to death on the Cross! The international problems of today are the family problems of today! Pride is simply you making yourself God! You trust in yourself rather than God! How many billions of people get up every morning trying to outsource God? Trying to rob God of His sovereignty? Many say if I were God I would do things this way? But you are not God and neither am I. Let God do His job and you do your job! I learned this in the military! If every member does his or her job and does not try to do someone else’s job victory comes in battle! God owns the whole universe of heaven and earth! We belong to Him! One of God’s job’s was to fix our pride and sin! He made a way through His Son Jesus Christ! Accept His pardon and live for Him! Prayer is the best way to let God do His job! I Do Not Know? Proverbs 3:5

Nothing can be believed unless it is first understood, and that for anyone to preach to others that which either has not understood nor they have understood is absurd. Peter Abelard (1079-1142), French Theologian. Comment: Peter’s dying words were, “I don’t know!” Even though I have been a Christian for 44 years I am still learning about God! My Bible reveals new things to me everyday! We start by Faith continue in Faith and finish in Faith! Without Faith it is impossible to please God! Beware of anyone who says they know more about God than you do! We only understand about God what he gives us! We will never know everything about God because if we did we could control Him! What we do know about God is that He loves us! That is enough! We need to search and seek God through His Holy Scriptures! The Apostle Paul was a learned man yet far from God until Jesus revealed Himself to Paul on the Road to Damascus! The only way to God is through His Son Jesus Christ! Do We Think Outside the Box? Proverbs 23:7

Here is a quote from a genius! “I very rarely think in words at all. A thought comes, and I may try to express it in words afterwards.” Albert Einstein (1879-1955) Let us go back some 2300 years ago and hear from another genius! “The heart collects sensory input from the peripheral organs through blood vessels which are described as perception from which thoughts and emotions arise.” Aristotle. Here is a quote out of a modern science digest! “A baby’s heart begins to beat 18 days after conception and by 21 days the heart is pumping blood through a closed circulatory system. A baby’s brain waves cannot be detected until 45 days after conception.” In addition to Proverbs 23:7 and many other scriptures my Bible says a man has said in his heart there is no God! So our thought language is universal. If you were born in China you just express your thoughts in Chinese! If you were born in Germany you express your thoughts in German! This leads us to some interesting questions? The mute and deaf have thoughts just like we do! They probably have more brilliant thoughts but just cannot express them! Why is America and our Constitution allow more expressive thoughts than other nations? So our nation will prosper! What was the first language spoken here on earth before the Tower of Babel? Most cultures like to think it was their language but what does the Bible say? What language will we speak in Heaven? More important what thoughts will we have? Heaven and Hell are separated by thoughts! What language does the Holy Spirit speak? What about tongues? David said create in me a clean heart! Here is another quote from the genius! “The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education.” Albert Einstein. Do not let things taught to you by humans interfere with what God is trying to teach you! Read your Bible and discover the treasures God has for you that can only be found there! Pride Before The Fall Proverbs 16:18

So what was the turning point in the Battle of Midway and the eventual defeat of Imperial Japan and WWII? Radar! The Japanese Navy did not deploy radar even though they had the technology in their land based radars! The Japanese Imperial Navy believed their Navy was so good and superior to other nations that they did not need to deploy ship based radars! Righteous Rule versus Wicked Rule!

Proverbs 29:2 “When the righteous are in authority the people rejoice; but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” Who are the righteous? The word righteous in the Hebrew means those who live their lives in accordance with God’s standard! The words, “are in authority”, is translated from the Hebrew to mean those who are in the majority or more in number. The word wicked means those who are enemies of God and His people. Even though the world has always been a battlefield between the righteous and the wicked God still has His people everywhere! At the time of Christ’s birth Caesar and Herod ruled wickedly. Their wicked acts against Christ at His birth and at the Cross victoriously produced a foundation of redemption for man! His star today shines brighter to us than to the shepherds around Bethlehem! His light will always shine brighter and brighter as our world grows darker! As we celebrate Christmas remember the Herod’s of today are trying to stamp out Christmas are in the greatest need of Him! Wisdom! Proverbs 9:10

Wisdom is the supernatural art of living skillfully in whatever actual conditions we find ourselves in. Pastor Brady Boyd, New Life Church, Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Comment; There are about 100 scriptures on wisdom in your Bible. There are about 12 root words that form these 100 scriptures in the Hebrew and the Greek. I will give you these root words for wisdom. Wisdom includes intelligence, discretion, understanding, knowledge, prudence and skillful ability. Wisdom includes substance, expertise, meaning and the center of anything including the will and the heart. Wisdom is the ability to separate mentally to perceive, discern, and distinguish. Wisdom means to make bare and use judgment. Wisdom is to make things clear with insight. Wisdom means to be of one mind and to set your affections on. Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Slaves become Wealthy and Wealthy become Slaves!

His ways are past finding out! I want to do a literal translation from the Hebrew of Proverbs 13:22 and Exodus 3: 21-22. Here we go! Proverbs: A good man takes property as a permanent possession and gives it to his children and grandchildren and the strength and influence of an army who fail any task or endeavor is laid up for the just. Exodus: I will give this people kindness in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall come to pass that when you go you should not go away empty. But every women shall ask of her neighbor of those that dwell as foreigners in their house, jewels of silver and gold and clothes and you shall put them on your sons and your daughters and you shall be delivered from the Egyptians. Comment: Once the Jews crossed the Red Sea they turned the gold into a golden calf or idol and then they became slaves for 40 years! Slaves 400 plus 40 years! God was Faithful to accomplish His promises as the Jews now live the land of Israel today that God promised to them! Prosperity and wealth without God turns into a curse! You become your worst enemy! The condition of the heart must be right to receive any Blessings that will last now and forever! Judas thought 30 pieces of silver was a greater treasure than eternal life with Jesus Christ! Wealth is an enemy if it controls you and owns you! Give your all to Christ as He has given His all to you and he will Bless you beyond anything you could do for yourself because simply you cannot save yourself! Thankyou.
