Humility!

I reached a point in my life of peace when I did not have to prove anything to anybody anymore!  Joyce Meyer  Comment: This is real freedom! Our own efforts are vanity! Let God be God in you! You are to please him but he has mercy you cannot find in mortal man! You can only please Christ but by simply accepting what he has already done for you! Death on the Cross! Resurrected from the dead! For you! This removes your performance driven mortality! I love my church and my Pastor but I do not have to prove anything to them! I love my family but do not have to prove anything to them! I am no longer performance based in my being! I will let God perform in me his good works! Righteousness! Holiness! Compassion! Mercy! All the fruits of the indwelling Holy Spirit! Take me or leave me but I belong to Christ! Mock me and you mock my Savior! Curse me and you curse my Savior! We are joined together and the world will never separate us with all of its temptations! No money, no power, no threats will ever separate me from the love of God! Neither life nor death will separate me from my Savior! We have a firm foundation! Anyone who has ever met God is humbled and every pound of pride has been depleted! James and Hamsa Sasse. Wisdom Produces Humility!

Proverbs 24:3-4   Hebrew Translation: “Through wisdom or an intelligent humble attitude towards your experiences both good and bad trusting the all knowing all powerful God is a home or dwelling place built, and by understanding with insight, prudence, reason, skillfulness and a teachable attitude is it established standing firm and steadfast. And by knowledge knowing with awareness observation and a God conscious shall thy chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.”   Comment: Like all of us Joseph had some bad experiences! Innocent yet jail time and family betrayal! However wisdom and understanding ruled the day for him becoming a Jew head of Egypt! Jesus has some bad experiences! Betrayal and the Cross! However as being man and God wisdom ruled over his life with a great victory over sin and death! As for me and my house we will serve the Lord! You have to trust God in the good times and especially in the bad times for he will prove himself faithful to you! God’s purpose is to show you his love! To make provision for you! The hardest thing is to love someone and yet they do not trust you? Jesus deals with this everyday as many inhabitants in the earth reject him! Most of the time development comes faster when we walk through the hard times! Learning to trust God! On the other side of the Red Sea Moses gained confidence and trust in God! Our final goal is to be with Christ on earth and in heaven! We cannot miss the mark! When our enemies see the victory God has given us they also have a glimpse of the light! You cannot understand life until you understand God! His ways are higher than our ways! Jesus is the way! To miss God is Babylon or confusion! Pride will never find God but oppose him! This is what happened to Satan! God’s character is humility! We normally do not search for God unless troubles overwhelm us! Wisdom is to understand only God can deliver me! We will sooner or later face a Goliath! No amount of your own effort will deliver you from the jaws of the lion or the fiery furnace! You cannot escape the flood unless you are in the ark! Solomon realized after hundreds of wives and all the riches in the world that he was not the answer but only God! Solomon said in the end it was all vanity or to no purpose! Our real purpose is found in God in relationship to him! Jesus cried on the Cross, “Why have you forsaken me?” Jesus biggest threat was not the death on the Cross or what Satan could do to him it was being forsaken by God! That is what hell is all about! Jesus came to deliver us from hell! He had to go there to complete his mission! To save you! Many forsake Jesus today! They reject his Salvation and the heaven he has prepared for them! A fool has said in his heart there is no God! Only fool’s are in hell! The wise in heaven! Which do you choose? James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

1. Speak as little as possible about yourself. 2. Mind your own business. 3. Do not manage other people’s affairs. 4. Avoid curiosity. 5. Accept contradictions and correction cheerfully. 6. Pass over mistakes of others. 7. Accept being slighted, forgotten and disliked. 8. Be kind and gentle even under provocation. 9. Never stand on your own dignity. 10. Choose always the hardest people. Mother Teresa

Humility Versus Pride! Isaiah 53:2

Hebrew Translation: “For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of the dry inhabitant’s of the earth, he has no form nor beauty nor majestic excellence and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we desire him as we did the forbidden tree in the Garden of Eden that brought death to the human race.”

Pride Before The Fall Proverbs 16:18

So what was the turning point in the Battle of Midway and the eventual defeat of Imperial Japan and WWII? Radar! The Japanese Navy did not deploy radar even though they had the technology in their land based radars! The Japanese Imperial Navy believed their Navy was so good and superior to other nations that they did not need to deploy ship based radars! God honors humility and when you think you are so smart you will prove that you are so dumb! James and Hamsa Sasse. GodWhoisGod.com

Humility For Pride! John Chapter 13

During Jesus last 3 years of ministry He would sometimes  say my time has not come yet! However in John Chapter 12 we see a change where Jesus says my time has now come! The word time means to honor! The word honor means to promote! Jesus promoted you from Hell to Heaven! Jesus promoted His Father! Jesus got promoted and is seated at the right hand of our Father today interceding for us in prayer! What is our response to Christians being beheaded around the world?  How do we respond to violence? Jesus said those who live by the sword will die by the sword! Jesus was also living in violent times! Jesus life was just not hanging around shepherds anchored to green pastures!  The Romans ruled through fear and violence! The same for the Middle East today! In Jesus day swords, spears and crosses ruled the day! The good Samaritan got beat up! Mr. Rogers could not have lived in this neighborhood! John 13:3-5 Why was this foot washing so offensive to Peter and the disciples? In the Jewish culture only gentiles could wash a Jews feet! A Jew could never wash another Jew’s feet! Jesus stepped on their pride! Never let your culture separate you from God! Jesus was never careless with His authority. He used it to draw people to God! Jesus shows us and His disciples that serving confronts our pride! Sometimes we have pride we are not even aware of! Pride hung on the religious and political rulers but could not cling to Jesus! Matthew 6:1-4 Jesus warned us not to let acts of kindness be seen of men. Give in secret! When was the last time you served in secret? There are 3 ways to serve. 1. Serve to be seen by others. 2. Serve in secret but to be proud of it! Self  righteous! 3. Serve in secret as worship to God! Do we serve to impress God? Serve in pride? Do you think you are better than those you serve? John 13:34-35  Jesus gave us a new commandment! It covers the other ten! Love one another! I thought just my family and church members? Help those who cannot help you! Serving others is the most powerful witness to the world! The watching world will never agree with all our theology but are fascinated with our behavior of helping others! Serve the widow’s, orphans and the hurting! The one’s nearest us know us best! How do the one’s closest to you describe you? Do they call us servants? He who is greatest in the Kingdom of God is servant of all! Carl Marks had a philosophy but it was not a reality? He got his best friend’s wife pregnant and then sent the baby to an orphanage! Let Christ’s love categorize you! Be a servant at home first then to the church and then to the world! Pastor Brady Boyd, New Life Church, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Failure + Success = Humility

A famous quote by Mark Twain says, “Failure is never permanent and success is never final!” The most challenging part of our life cycle is not dealing with failure but being able to successfully handle success! If success is only a tool to get above others and control others then we misuse God’s Blessings! A Godly Blessing should help us help others to be successful! Who you give the credit to is an indicator of a right or wrong attitude about success. Excuses cannot be our foundation for failure. When we take responsibility for our actions and repent then a door is opened from God for recovery towards success. When we take the Blessings God has given us and give credit to ourselves and not honor Him and the people He has placed in our lives we set ourselves up for failure. God has a plan for you to prosper you and bring good success! However to try this on your own without Him is like walking across a mine field in a combat zone! Thankyou. James and Hamsa Sasse.
