Are You Having a Cloudy Day?

A cloud is simply water vapor that condenses into rain, snow, ice particles or fog. Clouds at night reflect heat and keep the earth warmer. During the day clouds shade the earth and keep it cooler. On our other planets in our solar system clouds are not made up of water vapor. For example Jupiter has clouds made up of ammonia gas. The clouds on our other planets will not support life. The Bible has 108 verses that speak about clouds. You need to have a cloud to have a rainbow! Remember in Creation God moved upon the waters! Jesus walked on water! The Jews in their wilderness wandering were provided a cloud by day for protection! The Tabernacle was covered in a cloud! God spoke to Moses in the midst of a cloud on Mount Sinai. When the cloud moved the tribes of Israel moved! God’s GPS was a cloud! Remember the cloud at the transfiguration? Jesus ascended into a cloud! Jesus will return in a cloud! The two Prophets in Revelation will ascend into a cloud! God turns water into clouds and clouds into water! Noah was saved by water and the earth destroyed by water! There was a cloud over the earth at Calvary! Today when you see a cloud in the sky think on these things! God is Faithful to you and look up for your redemption draweth nigh! Thankyou. Why Did Jesus Say Buy a Sword? Luke 22:36

I have probably read every commentary on this scripture! The words Jesus told His disciples probably have more meaning now that America is becoming more lawless ! The American Christian would have a different interpretation on this scripture than a Christian living in Iraq or Syria today! Ask the Kurdish Christian about this passage! Jesus also said those who live by the sword will die by the sword! Meaning those who use weapons for violence rather than self-defense! Peter has a knife and used it well but Jesus rebuked Peter? Why? Peter was trying to keep Jesus off the Cross! Some commentators say it is just an allegory? Like ObamaCare? The law does not really mean what it says so goes the Supreme Court! Jesus was preparing His disciples for their journey after His resurrection and ascension! They would be traveling into dangerous areas to take the Gospel! Interesting that earlier Jesus told them to take nothing on their journey? However, Jesus was with them! Now he is leaving but did promise them the Holy Spirit! Was Jesus for gun control? What would Jesus do? Question is what did Jesus say? We have that! Interesting that the cities and states in America that have the toughest strictest gun control laws have the highest crime rates! We have to interpret scripture within context and in context of other scriptures! The Bible interprets itself! Every Christian has to decide for themselves what Jesus meant when He said go buy a sword! Get provisions? Be prepared? The Strength of Great Wisdom! 1Cor. 1:20-25

Verse 25– “Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” What is Paul talking about here? He is talking about the Cross! This is God’s genius plan! Christ! Born of a virgin? Sinless? Dies on a cruel Cross as a common criminal? Rose from the grave? Conquered death and hell? Seated at the right hand of His Father right now? If you could figure this out it would not be of God! Only the revelation of God through His Holy Spirit can reveal this to you! Spiritual discernment is required not man’s wisdom! Pilot told Jesus I will determine whether you live or die! Jesus told Pilot I lay down my life! Using man’s wisdom you will decide to enslave others! That is what all our wars have been about over history! Using God’s wisdom you will serve others! When you make decisions love people through the Cross! The world’s way is to use power to dominate them! God’s way is to serve men! I traveled down to Central America last week. I know enough Spanish just to get by! The people there encouraged me there to stay there for some time and learn their language! It would probably take me about two years! Why do we hear these messages over and over again every Sunday? Why do we take communion every week? Is it we have nothing else to do? We need to learn the language of God! We need to learn His language! If you are in love with God read His Bible! Study, pray and do the things that please Him! Live righteously! Hate sin! Love God! Love people! Serve others sacrificially! Praise Him! Serve Him! Who Predicted End of World in 2060 A.D.?

Isaac Newton predicted this date in 1704 A.D. You can be sure he was not trying to sell a book! Newton was one of the most influential scientists that ever lived! He was also an ardent Christian and had a tremendous interest in end-time theology! He spent years in researching the Bible on the 2nd coming of Christ. Newton wrote over one million words related to his Bible studies! Newton based his prediction on Daniel 12:7. It was the phrase, “Times, times and a half times”, that caught his attention! He interpreted it to mean 3 1/2 years or 1260 days (also referred in Daniel 7:25, Revelation 11:3, 12:6, and 13:5. However Newton made a slight adjustment! He interpreted days to mean years -1260- years which marked the countdown to the end of the world and the return of Christ. What was his start date? Newton used the establishment of the Holy Roman Empire in 800 A.D. by Charlemagne. So the date was figured by adding 1260 to 800 to arrive at 2060 A.D. In Matthew 24:36, Jesus said we would not know the exact day or hour of His return! However, He said there would be important signs! Newton realized then that the restoration of Israel was a significant sign post to the end of the world! Theologians in Newton’s day thought Israel would be established as a nation in the 17th or 18th century. Newton predicted through his Bible studies that it would be much later! Mohammed Luny Tunes!

If I were to draw a cartoon of Jesus or Mohammed would that change who they are? Absolutely not! I cannot make them better or worse than who they are! How I can degrade them is living my personal life less than who they are through bad behavior! The followers of Jesus and Mohammed tell me the most about their leader! Did Jesus or Mohammed behead people, rape women, enslave people and steal kill and destroy? If either one did I would not follow them! The Bible tells us clearly who Jesus is! The Koran tells us clearly who Mohammed is! If you follow anyone who leads you to commit crimes against God and humanity then you need to abandon this sinking ship! God holds each one of us accountable for our actions! You cannot kill your way out of death!
