I have a fundamental belief in the Bible as the Word of God, written by men who were inspired. I study the Bible daily. Opposition to godlessness is atheism in profession and idolatry in practice. Comment: This is true about atheism however what Isaac did not see coming was Charles Darwin in the 1860’s selling his atheism as science! Darwin packaged his atheism as a pseudo science and then it was instituted into our American school public education! Now atheism through Darwin has many professors here and around the world! Taught as science in all our public education institutions! Evolution is the product of atheism and socialism is the product of atheism and Darwinism! Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin, Hitler and many more world leaders today are the product and followers of Darwinism or Evolution! The left wing of the Democratic party are Darwinists! The political battles going on in America are founded on the belief that there is either a God or there is no God and man has to determine is own destiny! If there is no God then man must chart his own destiny! God cannot figure out Global warming so we must intervene for God and tax the hell out of the inhabitants of the earth! Since God is not here were must re-distribute wealth to those too lazy to work for it and steal the wealth and ingenuity of smart people and pay the lazy the fruits of their labor! The better off must pay for the health insurance of the lazy who will not work! Life is so unfair since God does not exist we must intervene in the affairs of men and right every wrong! Never mind we are wrong just let us correct you! We have made ourselves God so now certainly everything will be better! Vote for us and we will right the wrongs created by those that believe in God! If we can just get rid of those who believe in God we will then have a perfect world and the utopia our past socialist founders through the destruction of the world could not achieve! Then in the midst of a storm on the sea when they were about to perish God showed him how wicked he was! He repented and returned to Liverpool England and joined a small church. This is where he wrote his famous hymn! In 1787 he wrote a book, “Thoughts upon the African Slave Trade.” This book helped William Wilberforce a Parliament member over a 20 year period abolish the slave trade! John Newton the slave trader turned preacher had only two missions! His mission was to break the hard heart and heal the broken heart! He was so bad before his conversion that he got traded himself to a slave ship for punishment! Newton joined William Wilberforce a British Parliament member to abolish the slave trade in the British Empire! Their work culminated with the Slave Trade Act of 1807. It is estimated that his hymn Amazing Grace is sung 10 million times per year over the past 237 years! His hymn has also been at the top of the popular music charts over the centuries! Who Predicted End of World in 2060 A.D.?
Isaac Newton predicted this date in 1704 A.D. You can be sure he was not trying to sell a book! Newton was one of the most influential scientists that ever lived! He was also an ardent Christian and had a tremendous interest in end-time theology! He spent years in researching the Bible on the 2nd coming of Christ. Newton wrote over one million words related to his Bible studies! Newton based his prediction on Daniel 12:7. It was the phrase, “Times, times and a half times”, that caught his attention! He interpreted it to mean 3 1/2 years or 1260 days (also referred in Daniel 7:25, Revelation 11:3, 12:6, and 13:5. However Newton made a slight adjustment! He interpreted days to mean years -1260- years which marked the countdown to the end of the world and the return of Christ. What was his start date? Newton used the establishment of the Holy Roman Empire in 800 A.D. by Charlemagne. So the date was figured by adding 1260 to 800 to arrive at 2060 A.D. In Matthew 24:36, Jesus said we would not know the exact day or hour of His return! However, He said there would be important signs! Newton realized then that the restoration of Israel was a significant sign post to the end of the world! Theologians in Newton’s day thought Israel would be established as a nation in the 17th or 18th century. Newton predicted through his Bible studies that it would be much later!
